"He took back what he had given, and instead of finding him, you co to ; don’t you find it ridiculous?"
Unable to accept it, Tiffany Lynch cursed, "Nonsense! It’s clearly you!"
Seeing Tiffany’s loss of composure, Hannah looked away with a laugh, "You love to oppose , whether it was the matter of exchanging tickets before or this ti. You seek a sense of superiority from , but that superiority cos from my love for George River. Yet I stopped loving him long ago, and all that you have done has been in vain."
In the original story, Tiffany herself was a sowhat extre character. She was well aware that George did not love Hannah Winter but still refused to let her go, wanting to see her die before her eyes to feel comfortable.
The only thing she could rely on from start to finish were the n by her side; as they admired her, they were willing to present all the best things in the world to her.
The so-called original plot, the so-called fairy tale, was like a beautiful crystal ball—lovely yet fragile.
All Hannah did was react as any normal person would—she didn’t harbor an unreciprocated love for George, didn’t depend on Louis Snyder for survival, didn’t hold beautiful illusions about Jackie Qualls, nor did she have so-called bursts of kindness towards Jimmy Simmons.
She was not the original protagonist, and thus was not obliged to give incessantly.
Yet such a trivial change was still too much for the beautiful crystal ball to withstand.
Light footsteps of "tap tap tap" echoed in the corridor, with the conversations of company employees, and the rustling of papers faintly in the distance. Tiffany, however, felt as though all these sounds were walled off from her.
She watched intently as Hannah walked toward her, like a vast shadow enveloping her.
Hannah t those tear-filled eyes, their forr pride nowhere to be seen, buried deep with resentnt and envy. And yet, their façade pretended as if all was calm and bright with the world.
With a light tsk, Hannah shook her head, "Tiffany Lynch, look at you now, so much like the old . You’ve allowed yourself to beco this ss over a fickle man. Don’t you think it’s sad?"
Tiffany’s face was pale, her tears masking towering hatred. She gave a scornful laugh, "If it weren’t for your deliberate provocation, how could George possibly have abandoned !"
Hannah replied, "She said that too."
Once, Hannah Winter had often fantasized that, without Tiffany, she and George might have been married by now, living a happy and fulfilling life.
You see, the more you beco like each other, even though you also hate that fickle man in your heart, why do you co after instead of seeking him out?" Hannah paused, her voice carrying a smile, "Is it because you don’t dare?"
Those eyes, clear as a mirror, where you could see your own ferocious reflection. In just a brief mont, they were filled with darkness.
She no longer resembled the once high-and-mighty Eldest Miss.
Unable to answer Hannah’s question, she could only bite her lip hard, convincing herself to direct all her hatred towards Hannah.
It was all Hannah’s fault.
Hannah suddenly grew curious as to whether Tiffany would actually embark on the path of the original protagonist.
"It was you who instigated the fans online to divide the resources in my hands, wasn’t it?"
With the situation having progressed to this point, Tiffany no longer intended to hide. Her tear-streaked face broke into a smile, "It was ; what of it? If those fans are so stupid, believing whatever they’re told, then that’s their problem."
