With the endorsent of a professional institution, it was now not so hard to accept the idea of Hannah, their idol, going into acting.

Everyone knew Jack and Hannah were tight, but they didn’t really have a good understanding about Jack being Hannah’s manager.
After all, they are all dabbling in the sa industry. While Hannah did gain fa a bit earlier than them, it didn’t an that they’d run to go ask for autographs or anything like that.
Most of them just tried to get the scoop on Hannah’s private schedule from Jack.
"Hannah Winter’s on top of the world now. I heard a lot of people in the drama departnt bad-mouthing her when she first competed in that talent show, saying she was degrading herself by becoming an idol. But look at her now, she’s a sensation and all those people are green with envy."
"Envy’s useless, didn’t you hear about the last incident? All talent shows are banned from now on, right?"
"Yeah, that’s what they say, but when there’s a will, there’s a way. Can’t money solve everything? This will only last for a while."
Several people went back and forth chatting, but Jack had no interest in listening.
However, that didn’t stop other people from trying to get information from him, "Jack, I want to ask sothing. The internet’s abuzz with rumors that Hannah Winter and Jackie Qualls are already together in private. Is this true?"
Getting involved with a film emperor right after her debut, Hannah is singular in the entertainnt industry.
In private, countless people were envious, saying Hannah had a teoric rise to stardom.
Jack heard these comnts too often, answering in an unusually indifferent tone, "It’s fake."
Although he said so, it was clear that no one believed him.
Despite the doubt, they didn’t say anything and instead brought up another matter, "Won’t our school have so event in a while? They’ve invited many notable alumni, but I don’t know if Hannah Winter will co."
Several people looked at Jack.
Everyone was actually quite envious of Jack. After all, he had a good relationship with Hannah, which might aid him in the industry later.
Like those who studied directing, it’s glamorous to talk about it, but directors are not the ones who call the shots in today’s market. Only a few directors really have the final say.
Anyway, it was not their turn, and so people even began to think about changing careers.
Jack did not answer their question. The relationships between everyone were not close. Casual chats were fine, but if involving private matters, Jack would definitely not answer.
Once or twice was fine but as ti went on and they couldn’t get anything out of Jack, their attitude started to sour.
Once he stepped away, they began trashing him.

"Co on, second bro. What were you thinking asking those questions? Isn’t it obvious? Could Hannah have debuted without pulling so strings? No one knows how many people she had to sleep with."
"What, you fancy her now? Too bad, she’s out of our league now. She probably looks down on us, her schoolmates."
"Regrettable, regrettable. Looking back... I shouldn’t have backed off."
"Alright, don’t wallow in self-pity. Who knows, you might make a na for yourself and beco a great director, and then she’ll co knocking at your door!"
They started laughing out loud at this, the laughter sounded greasy and vulgar.
