The assistant initially thought that Arnold Simmons, after the storm he weathered yesterday, wouldn’t arrive at the office so early. Yet, when she walked in to deliver so docunts, she saw him sitting inside.
She quickly retreated and knocked on the door before daring to enter, "Mr. President, here are the docunts from the finance departnt."
The man was engrossed in the contract in his hands. He acknowledged her with a slight nod, his voice was faint, "Just leave them there."
"Okay." The assistant nodded, left the docunts, and quickly made to leave.
But just as she was halfway out, Arnold Simmons’s voice ca from behind her again, "Which companies participated in the investnt for ’Shining Star Journey 2’ this season?"
The man capped his pen, picked up a pile of docunts from next to him, and continued reading, as if the one who had just spoken wasn’t him.
His tone was mild, a simple statent.
After a brief thought, the assistant listed the nas of several companies.

Arnold Simmons only zeroed in on one, looking up, "Prideful Entertainnt."
The assistant paused, explained, "It’s the entertainnt company under the River Family. They have been around for many years. Recently, they suddenly injected funds into ’Shining Star Journey 2’, seemingly to ensure soone’s debut. It’s common as the show producers usually allow it."
After her words, the man fell silent for a long ti.
’Shining Star Road’, the initial program, was introduced from abroad by Arnold Simmons. At that ti, he was just testing the waters of the entertainnt industry, not really caring about it.
