"The two of them talk every day, definitely a girlfriend. What grandma? What obedient granddaughter? I heard Hayes Edwards call that girl Grace. Do you all call your grandmas that?"
The girls watching felt awkward.
The topic continued, and afterward, it was the speculations of a few roommates.
"Seems like she’s studying abroad, so they chat at night to accommodate the girlfriend’s schedule, right?"
"How did they et? Seems like classmates, probably known each other for a while, must be first love!"

After this "eting dismissal," the gossip about Hayes Edwards in school decreased significantly.

Hayes Edwards practically swapped ways to tell Grace Winter this line every day.
Though Grace Winter was a bit slow in matters of the heart, she still understood what Hayes Edwards ant. She was troubled by the guy’s sudden show of friendliness and proximity.
But every ti it was an "accidental" encounter, there were others around, and his behavior was always appropriate.
"Maybe I’m overthinking, perhaps he doesn’t have any interest in ."
On a video call, Grace Winter sat cross-legged on the sofa, with a big tub of ice cream in front of her. She ate happily, smiling contentedly.
Seeing her naive and carefree look made Hayes Edwards a bit frustrated, causing his head to ache slightly, "n understand n best. He’s definitely up to no good. You need to be cautious around him, do you understand?"
Grace Winter bit on her spoon and obediently nodded, "Got it."

At night, lying on his bed, Hayes Edwards experienced for the first ti what it felt like to miss soone so much that he couldn’t sleep. When he closed his eyes, she was there, and when he opened them, his tangled thoughts about her wouldn’t go away.
His roommates, who were playing gas, noticed and knocked on his bed, "Brother Edwards, can’t sleep? Get up and play gas!"
Hayes Edwards sat up from his bed and played gas with them all night.
Fortunately, there was no class the next day.
In the second sester of junior year, Grace Winter’s schedule was busy with her courses abroad. She practically lived a three-point-one-line routine: classroom, library, and ho.
Grace Winter’s grandmother was a very kind and elegant old lady. She had started a company on her own when she was young and after earning enough money, began traveling everywhere.
More than a decade ago, she chose to return to her hotown and live a simple life rising with the sun and resting at sunset. After a few more years, she decided to settle abroad.
Now, besides traveling, her only thought was taking good care of her granddaughter, Grace Winter, encouraging her to study more and do what she loves.
This was a kind of compensation and hope for the things she wished to do but couldn’t in her younger years.
Grace Winter lived up to her grandmother’s expectations, excelling academically and dedicating energy to things she loved, such as baking cakes.
But she was a bit slow when it ca to matters of the heart.
