"Running away from ho?"

"And you took Dario with you?"

"Hannah, you’re quite impressive."

Looking at Hannah sitting on the sofa, Gold Lotus chuckled awkwardly, "Not really, not really, not that impressive."

Hannah looked at it and smiled, "Do you think I was praising you?"

"Probably... not."

Gold Lotus lay on the ground, covering its face with its paws, and cautiously peeked at Hannah’s face through the gaps.

"I didn’t an to," it explained in a small voice.

Hannah knew it too well, "Didn’t an to? So the dog hole in the backyard wasn’t dug on purpose either?"

Gold Lotus removed its paws, ready to speak with bravado, but weakened under Hannah’s gaze, "That dog hole was already there."

"How many tis have you gone out?" Hannah asked.

Gold Lotus shook its ears, "First ti."

Hannah poured herself a glass of water, expression unchanged, "First ti?"

"Alright," Gold Lotus compromised and confessed honestly, "Second ti."

The first ti, it had discovered the dog hole in the corner of the wall and went out once. However, it didn’t go far, just strolled around the neighborhood, worried about getting lost, and hurried back.

It even covered the dog hole with grass afterward.

The second ti... was this ti.

In fact, Hannah was still a bit angry. Although Gold Lotus looked like a little dog, its essence was artificial intelligence. If faced with any situation outside, it had the ability to protect itself.

But Dario was different.

Gold Lotus only then slowly realized its mistake.

"I won’t do it again next ti," it said, lowering its head, feeling very guilty.

It hadn’t even considered, what if Dario was taken away? It already had so few friends, apart from Darryl, it only had Dario left.

They were the only ones who wouldn’t mind being friends with it.

Dario ca back from outside. Arnold Simmons had just removed its collar, and it ran straight to Gold Lotus, sat next to it, and nudged its head with its nose.

Seemingly saying, why are you upset?

Even though they didn’t manage to get out this ti, they could try again next ti.

Next ti, it promised not to hold them back.

Dario lay on the ground, looking up at Gold Lotus. After a few seconds, it sat back up, paws uneasily pacing the ground.

Don’t be unhappy.

Next ti Dario won’t be lazy.

Gold Lotus lowered its head and said to it, "Sorry Dario, it was my fault this ti."

Dario didn’t understand, anxiously looking at Hannah.

Hannah reached out to rub its head, "Gold Lotus isn’t mad at you, just don’t run off by yourself next ti."

Dario seed to understand a bit, resting its head on Hannah’s knee, its gaze still fixed on Gold Lotus.

Gold Lotus glanced at it and patted its tail with its paw.

In July and August, during the hottest weather, Gold Lotus and Dario had offended the swans at the artificial lake and had to avoid the area whenever they went for a walk.

This significantly reduced the areas where they could play around.

Not being able to see Lisa for several days, Dario started to feel a bit gloomy again.

Gold Lotus still sat on the side munching a sausage, "It’s just a Lisa, I’ll introduce you to more beautiful dogs so other day, like Rosa or Liza."

It swung its little legs leisurely.

Dario snorted, pawing its toy into its arms, and continued to sleep.

...

Hannah and Arnold Simmons went to Bree again.
