But Hannah was queuing for the ferris wheel and did not see it.
The line under the ferris wheel wasn’t very long, probably because too many people had co over to queue during the fireworks show.
Watching fireworks from the ferris wheel and embracing a loved one in the midst of them was a romantic gesture many were willing to wait in line for a long ti.
But now that the fireworks show had ended, naturally, many people had dispersed.
After waiting for about ten minutes, it was their turn.
The ferris wheel slowly rotated, carrying them upwards, perfectly viewing the entire castle with its extrely dreamlike pink walls and blue outlines that were so pristine they seed to be dyed by the sky.
Hannah sat in the chair, close to the clear window, her eyes brimming with a radiant smile.
In the distance of the castle, one could vaguely see clusters of fireworks—silver, red, gold—all intertwining, and due to the distance, only faint sounds could be heard.
It was like stars streaking across the night sky, leaving only long, easily fading traces.
"Arnold."
She suddenly called his na.
The young man ca back to his senses and looked at her.
They sat facing each other, almost touching in the not-so-spacious space.
"What is it?"
Hannah looked up at him, seeing his deep, pitch-black eyes, like the rarest of gems filled with the deep sea, the night sky, and also her own reflection.
She was about to say sothing but then stopped, her eyes and eyebrows curving, "Nothing."
Arnold paused for a mont, then asked her, "Tired?"
She nodded, "A bit."
Although it was already after midnight, the amusent park was still bustling, it was said that today’s revelry would continue until dawn.
The deep night was silent yet paradoxically amplified the world’s commotion to its maximum.
Daylight wasn’t enchanting, and the fireworks would drown out their original colors, only in the darkness could they truly flourish.
Perhaps the night was also needed, enjoyed.
By the ti they ca down from the ferris wheel, the night had deepened, mist rose from the water, blurring the shape of the castle, like a fairytale story when dawn approaches and the jubilation is about to extinguish.
Seeing her yawn sleepily, Arnold asked, "Shall we go ho?"
Hannah nodded, then rembered sothing, "I can go back by myself, you should also head back and rest early."
The amusent park was quite close to her residential area, catching a car from the roadside would only take a few minutes’ ride.
But it was a bit far from here back to the northern district of the city, not to ntion crossing a bridge.
The amusent park’s vibrancy remained unabated, with lights everywhere, various shops crowded, and many places still hosting activities and gas.
The previously sleepy Hannah instantly beca energetic.
She ran ahead, and Arnold had no choice but to follow closely behind her, afraid of losing her in the crowd.
"Arnold, does this look good?"
"Arnold, should the ice cream be strawberry flavor or chocolate flavor?"
"Arnold, I want that doll, the biggest rabbit one!"
The young girl ran over, looking up at him, her eyes gleaming, needing his help.
Arnold smiled and followed her, "Which one do you want?"
Hannah pointed at the big white rabbit.
Two minutes later, the shopkeeper took the big white rabbit off the shelf and handed it to Hannah, "This bunny is yours now, I hope you enjoy your night at the amusent park."
