"Not making my debut?" Pale fingertips lightly touched on the girl’s rosy lips, a hint of mischief lifted the corner of her mouth, she murmured softly, "I’m about to beco the ceiling of the entertainnt industry’s face, obviously, I need to stand at the very center. How could I not make my debut?"

As she spoke, a low laughter echoed from her.

She had never considered obediently following the plot as it unfolds, let alone the fact that Tiffany Lynch was so similar to that person, equally irritating. How could she willingly be stepping stones for her?

However, at this mont, Little Golden Lotus still didn’t know that its owner was about to start wreaking havoc on the plot and was even considering how it could lessen the tornt its owner had to endure from the plot.

After checking her mobile phone, Hannah logged out of Weibo, naturally, she didn’t see the last topic about the film emperor Jackie Qualls’ instant delete.

She hugged her quilt and lay on the bed for a while, missing her benefactor a bit.

Filming was to start next week so she won’t be able to see anyone for more than three months.

She couldn’t resist but make the call.

The other side seed to be busy, and it rang for more than ten seconds without anyone answering.

Hannah hung up the phone, thinking she would call back later.

Without her knowing, the phone began to vibrate again once she put it down.

Seeing the caller ID, Hannah cozied up with the quilt on the bed, with a voice that sounded softer than it usually was, "Mr. Simmons, where are you?"

On the other end of the phone, Arnold Simmons glanced at the mountain of paperwork on the desk in front of him. His sowhat tired eyes were surprisingly filled with a hint of gentle laughter, "Did you miss ?"

The man’s husky voice, tinted with exhaustion, beca incomparably soothing. It was as if bits of jade were falling into a mountain spring, deep yet sohow refreshing.

As soon as the words left his mouth, Arnold Simmons regretted it a bit.

Being in the company of this young girl, he had actually learned to whisper sweet nothings like her. It was bound to provoke her teasing again.

It got quiet for a pretty long mont on the other end of the call, and as expected, Hannah’s girlish laughter rang out.

She rolled around on the bed with a pillow in her arms, her muffled voice filled with softness, "Mr. Simmons, do you really miss so much, so much that you were dreaming of last night, unable to stop?"

Arnold Simmons remained silent for a mont, feeling inexplicably guilty even though he hadn’t seen anyone, but his voice was firm, "No."

"I don’t believe you." Hannah sat up, "Are you at ho?"

Arnold Simmons: "Mmm."

Hannah jumped out of bed, impatiently looking for clothes for herself, "Then wait for ."

With that, the call ended.

Arnold Simmons looked at the darkened mobile phone screen. The light in his eyes hadn’t completely faded, but it faintly darkened, leaving him deep in thought.

About two hours later.

At Mid-hill Courtyard No. 96.

Arnold Simmons went to answer the doorbell, but it there was no one outside.

He rubbed his tired brow, thinking that he had misheard due to fatigue. Just as he was about to close the door, a soft body bumped into him.

A sweet voice whispered in his ear, "Mr. Simmons, surprise or not, guess who showed up on your doorstep."

As she spoke, she buried herself in his arms, looking up at his smooth jawline, her arms wrapped tightly around his waist.

Arnold Simmons cast a downwards look, his large palm gently tousling the girl’s fluffy hair, "You ca by yourself."

Hannah nodded, "Yes, I took a taxi." She then said in a more complaining tone, "Mr. Simmons, you don’t know, it’s rush hour right now, there are cars everywhere. Your little bird had been stuck in traffic for half an hour to see you."
