Wayne Lane went out.

Hannah stayed in the blanket for a while, counted the ti, and then sat up. She ran to the window without even bothering to put on her shoes.

She pulled open a crevice in the dark grey curtains, and the sunlight outside was sowhat dazzling.

Today’s Bruce is having good weather.

From the hotel’s entrance, a car could be clearly seen parked outside. That was the car sent today to pick people up for interrogation.

Even from a great distance, Hannah imdiately noticed Wayne Lane beside the car.

Other people summoned for questioning were also with him, though not many, probably only about half of those who escaped from the tube building yesterday.

As if sensing sothing, Wayne Lane looked up in the direction of the room.

Hannah didn’t hide, resting her arms on the windowsill, she waved to greet him.

Her smile still carried a hint of sleepiness, her eyes squinting slightly from the glare of the sun.

She looked like a cat dozing off, exuding laziness from head to toe.

Wayne Lane just glanced over and then turned his gaze away, with a slight uptick at the corner of his mouth.

A few minutes later, once everyone had arrived, they were led away by the designated personnel.

Compared to last night’s brief questioning, today’s interrogation was far more detailed.

From the mont they boarded the starship until they sat here being interrogated, they had to explain everything in great detail. Naturally, the focus was on the "Guest Arrival Inn."

"How did you co to know of this inn?" one of the questioners asked.

"On a map," Wayne Lane didn’t intend to hide anything, he revealed everything except for his and Hannah’s true identities and intentions.

"A map?" The interrogator’s eyes took on a scrutinizing look, "As far as I know, it is now very rare for people to use maps."

The room where they were questioned resembled an interrogation chamber, small in space but exerting an intense sense of oppression, especially the glaring light shining on one’s face, as if trying to capture every minute movent.

Even in such an environnt, Wayne Lane remained composed, displaying an exceptional calmness, "I’ve always had an interest in paper items. In the Capital City, there are places that specifically sell paper maps and books."

This wasn’t a lie.

Paper items are precious, and it’s rare for them to be sold openly outside, but for the Capital City, they are not so uncommon.

Even the imperial family had grandiosely modeled a library after those before the First Year of Stellar and established such an imperial library.

Of course, most of the paper books inside are second printings, not originals.

The two people tasked with the questioning seed to take note of Wayne Lane’s identity as a Capital City resident and their expressions eased a bit.

Most importantly, Wayne Lane looked to be the Eldest Young Master of a wealthy family.

"You ca to Bruce this ti with your sister, correct?"

"Yes."

The interrogator nodded, then asked, "Apart from yourselves, were there any other people accompanying you?"

After several neither soft nor forceful questions, the interrogator returned to the topic of Guest Arrival Inn.

The previous questions seed more like a way to lower the interrogator’s guard.

By the ti the questioning ended, it was already midday.

Wayne Lane glanced at the ti; the auction was nearly over, and even if he went now, he wouldn’t make it in ti.

His mind was still sowhat concerned about Hannah’s situation. With these thoughts, he quickened his pace.

But before he could step out, the person who had just finished questioning him called out from behind.

"Wayne Lane, right?" The man ran over, holding a specialized communicator in his hand.
