Hannah hadn’t steadied herself when Archer reached out to support her, his cold gaze falling on the woman.

The woman was wary of the bow and arrow in Archer’s hands and hurriedly shifted her gaze away.

Jas, who had been hiding in the shadows, was the first to beco restless as he saw the group approaching Hannah’s house.

He knew about the poisonous widow incident.

If these people actually entered Hannah’s house today, she would beco their prey.

Now, he had no choice but to co out.

Grinding his teeth, Jas called to the people behind him, "Let’s go!"

The saying goes, a mighty dragon cannot suppress a local snake.

Moreover, these newcors weren’t anything special.

As soon as the group burst out, the bespectacled man was the first to react.

He started by trying to make ands.

"We are new here, if there’s any offense..."

He didn’t finish his sentence.

Jas glanced at Hannah, standing in the distance, and waved his hand to signal his people to charge.

"Nothing personal, today I just want to teach you the rules of Bruleigh!"

What rules?

The law of the jungle!

These people knew too little about Bruleigh.

A place cursed by the god of death, shrouded only in sin and blood.

The two sides started fighting.

The music from the music box continued to play.

Hannah watched from a distance, very intently, "Oh, they’ve started fighting!"

She was a bit excited.

Archer only glanced once before leading the person back into the house.

Close the door, lock it, all in one fluid motion.

Unfortunately, the door couldn’t block the screams from outside.

Hannah had already freed herself from Archer’s grasp and clambered up to stand on a chair.

She pushed open the window.

Outside, Jas walked over, his hands stained with fresh blood.

The blood of the woman who had just pushed Hannah.

Jas wanted to test Hannah.

Seeing the little witch smiling so sweetly at him, he felt a bit apprehensive.

It felt eerie.

Like walking in a forest at night, lost, watched by countless pairs of eyes shimring green.

Hannah said to Jas, "The people are yours, I don’t want any."

She was easy to talk to.

Jas asked, "Your terms."

Hannah said, "Help clean the blood outside, I don’t like the sll of blood."

Jas agreed.

Those people were howling.

Even without today’s incident, this would have been their inevitable fate.

In Bruleigh, there are only two kinds of people.

One is prey, the other is the hunter.

"Hannah."

After Jas had left, Hannah still hadn’t closed the window, and Archer was calling her.

She pretended not to hear.

Archer raised his tone, "Hannah."

She finally turned around, "What?"

Archer was angry, but his anger was not directed at Hannah.

So, he was angry at himself.

He was supposed to protect her.

So, all he said was, "Close the window."

Hannah obediently closed it.

The screams diminished.

Soone was counting.

Twenty people.

The count was off by one, but only Hannah noticed.

She didn’t say anything, sat on the table, and looked at Archer in front of her.

"You shouldn’t have co out," Archer said.

Hannah swung her legs, the music from the music box still playing.

She smiled like a naughty little witch.

"Archer, this is Bruleigh."

Still the sa line.

Because there are no rules, any negotiation is superfluous.

This was sothing Archer had never understood.

Only those who lived it could comprehend.

"Those people, they will live," Hannah said, leaning forward with her hands on the tabletop, flashing Archer a sweet smile.

Alive, as stockpiles.

"Archer, do you know, that man called Jas, he initially targeted ."
