Although the Taylor Family had so heritage, it was still quite inferior compared to the Simmons Family and the River Family. If a problem arose with such a major project, they would be the first to fall in the initial round.

Hannah beca interested, "Is the problem with the South City Project severe?"

Oliver Taylor scratched his head, "Whether it’s big or not depends on the company’s capability. If it were soone like , it would definitely be over, but for the River Family, it’s hard to say. However, from the current situation, losses are certain. I don’t understand the follow-up details."

He only had a bit of petty cleverness, and that was the extent of his capability.

"If Miss Winter really wants to know, you should ask the Second Master; he definitely knows everything."

No sooner had he finished speaking than Arnold Simmons walked over.

Oliver Taylor politely greeted him and then tactfully left.

At this ti, the banquet was almost coming to an end.

The host of the banquet was standing on the stage with his wife, saying sothing.

It was probably about thanking the guests who attended the banquet that day.

Once again, lodious music filled the banquet hall.

It was a piano piece, played live.

The guests at the banquet had already paired up and entered the dance floor, slowly swaying to the music.

Hannah glanced over, then withdrew her gaze and looked up at the man standing in front of her.

As the music played, the lights dimd, resembling the soft, non-glaring sunlight of an autumn dusk, faintly casting a layer over half of his face, outlining his handso features in a deep and vivid way.

Only a pair of deep eyes were left, reflecting her figure.

Hannah drank so alcohol. Although not completely drunk, her eyes had a misty layer.

She reached out her hand, said nothing, but Arnold Simmons understood, walked over, and let her wrap her arms around his waist.

"Had so drinks?"

The man’s voice, slightly husky, ca from above her head.

Hannah murmured a vague response.

Arnold Simmons reached out, gently tousled the fuzzy head in his arms.

He didn’t ask what Hannah was talking about with Oliver Taylor earlier, worried she was tired, and just let her lean quietly against him.

The music was llow, like a handful of spring water flowing through the bustling banquet.

Hannah looked up, tugged at the man’s clothes, her voice softened from tiredness, "Arnold, let’s dance too?"

Arnold looked down, brushed his hand across the girl’s reddened eyes, and whispered softly, "Not tired anymore?"

Hannah shook her head, stood up, and pulled Arnold’s hand into the dance floor.

At this mont, the music was more than halfway through, and everyone was imrsed in it.

Near the finale, the music slowed down, and the lights dimd even more.

So people boldly embraced and kissed each other in the middle of the dance floor.

Arnold instinctively lowered his head and t Hannah’s gaze.

Pure black eyes, like a moonlit night filled with stars.

Under the night sky, a gentle breeze passed, brushing through the soft white flowers blooming in the grass, causing the flowers to tremble slightly, attracting low-flying fireflies from afar.

Dots of light, filled with tenderness.

"Arnold?"

The girl called out softly, and before she could react, the man had already leaned in and kissed her red lips.

Hearing him whisper softly in her ear, "Hannah."

The wind blew south, bringing the chill of early spring.

Outside the window, leaves rustled, accompanied by the nightti rain, urging one to sleep.

The night deepened, and there were hardly any pedestrians or vehicles on the road.

Only one streetlamp after another stood, with the shadows filled with fine raindrops falling and gathering into small puddles.

The puddles reflected the light and the entire night sky.

The driver drove steadily, the usual route was under repair, so today they had to detour, making the journey longer than usual.
