"Hannah is also my leading actress, and I am very satisfied with her performance, but today I am here as a film critic, without any personal bias. The movie is indeed better than I expected. It’s hard to believe that this is the work of a new director,"

Thomas Campbell’s face was stern as he spoke with an air of authority.

Even the most fastidious reporters didn’t feel like deliberately contradicting him at that mont.

At the premiere, during the final interview segnt, soone also made a point of asking about Jackie Qualls.

Initially, the questions were all fairly standard ones about the film, but eventually, they began to change in tone.

Perhaps motivated by a love for gossip, soone deliberately raised a question about the relationship between Jackie Qualls and Hannah.

No sooner had the question been asked than the cara imdiately panned to Hannah.

Both of them appeared on the big screen, and many people watched with speculative looks.

Louis Snyder stood to the side, looking at the image of the two of them on the screen together and listening to the teasing remarks of those around him, he lowered his eyes and remained silent.

The microphone was handed to Jackie, who just smiled gently, his voice as soft as ever, "Affection is a very private matter. Although I am a public figure, I don’t wish to cause any trouble for the other party. Today is the premiere of ’The Kite,’ so I think we should focus more on the film. Thank you."

With that, he handed the microphone to a staff mber beside him.

Clearly, he did not wish to engage in too much discussion on this topic.

The journalists refrained from asking further questions.

For other artists, such a question would typically be ignored, and the inquirer might even be removed from the event.

But Jackie Qualls was known for his good temper, which emboldened the journalist to try their luck, though they didn’t really get anything substantive. It seed more like he was protecting the other party.

Maybe there really was sothing more to dig up.

The subsequent questions were all about the movie, with no one daring to broach any topics related to Jackie Qualls.

Jack Stewart stood by Hannah’s side, answering the questions posed by the journalists one by one, his words carefully protecting Hannah without giving rise to undue speculation.

The two of them standing together was reminiscent of the tis when Jack had been her agent.

But Jack knew that it had been a long ti since he’d run around attending events and interviews by her side.

Still, he couldn’t help but concern himself with Hannah’s affairs, always worrying that her new agent wasn’t looking after her well enough.

When the final question was asked, soone inquired, "Director Stewart is new to the directing scene. Seeing the good reviews ’The Kite’ is getting here today, do you plan to continue making films in the future?"

Everyone knew that Jack Stewart once was Hannah’s agent.

As the question was posed, Hannah turned to look his way.

She wore minimal makeup that day, dressed in the most understated way possible—a low ponytail, plain glasses, with a clean and wholeso air, cute like the youthfully endearing girls in movies.

She also looked like... the way she did when he first t her.

Lost in thoughts, Jack abruptly realized that sohow, the distance between them had grown further and further apart.

She would joke and call him "Director Stewart."

It wasn’t any different from what everyone else called him.

Jack Stewart averted his gaze, answering the journalist’s question with a voice that was increasingly clear and unblemished, "I’ll consider it."

He didn’t dare to et her gaze again, and until the venue cleared out, he just kept his head down and ticulously packed up the things on site.
