priIn the desolate wasteland of the southern continental region of Europa, the Austerium Imperial Military Complex of the League of Humanity dwelled. It was the central command of the region's defense network, consisting of seven separate nodes.

Orders from the Magus Tower and the Sovereigns have been received. The Great War between the United World Governnt and the League of Humanity had begun. A battle that would consu the entirety of the primordial world.

"Commander General! Our reconnaissance forces have discovered the armies of the World Governnt gathering near our southern coast. They are preparing for a landing."

An imperial officer reported, interrupting the eting between the imperial high echelons. Since the League of Humanity lost the Colonial Dominions, the militaries of mber states have been overhauled.

Technologies that were supposed to be forbidden were opened by the Magus Tower, bringing about an unusual growth to the armies of the League of Humanity.

Their technological tree beca peculiar as so armies would bring upgraded muskets while others would introduce energy weapons in the tips of spears.

During these years, the Golden Age of Humanity has reached its pinnacle. Whether the era would persevere remained in the hands of the United World Governnt, for they hold authority over the New World.

If the Sovereigns and the Magus Tower wished to avoid the inevitable societal collapse of humanity, the Great War was inevitable for it had given them the chance to prolong the Golden Age.

Diplomacy and peace between the superpowers of the primordial world didn't matter for none of the two wished to usher an age of harmony.

"Landing? They must underestimate our coastal defenses... We are different from that poor kingdom!" The Commander General declared as he stepped forward and continued.

"Report to the Magus Tower! I want them given the locations of the beaches where these subhumans would land. None of their flying ships shall remain in the heavens!"

The imperial officer nodded and responded to the old man with an imperial salute. "Affirmative, Commander General. Your orders shall be done."

Hearing the words of the imperial officer, the old man smirked and glanced at the military high echelons. "The Coastal City of Barako has been destroyed alongside their fleet."

"Their technology stand no chance against our superiority-" Before the Commander General could keep speaking, alarms blared as announcents echoed through the halls of the complex.

"This is not a drill! We are under attack!" A monotone voice reverberated from the speakers, prompting the old man to frown. He looked at the military high echelons and ordered. "Prepare the defenses!"

"I don't want any of those pests to take a step within this complex." Like the Coastal City of Barako, the Austerium Imperial Military Complex expected to be besieged by the United Military.

Unfortunately for them, the United World Governnt held a first strike protocol targeting every hostile and critical infrastructures of the League of Humanity. Even the installations where the strategic spells of the Summit Impact would be done.

The doctrine of the United Military was extre firepower that would flattened their enemies deep underground before a single soldier of the World Governnt takes a step within the battlefield.

"Sir! Contact has been lost of the southern fortress!" Another imperial officer charged into the room and roared, earning the annoyed grunt of the Commander General. "Lost? Damn it! How can they be so fast?"

"Observations have been made from our reconnaissance forces... The southern fortress has disappeared. It sunk into the ground, the entirety of the five-hundred ter diater area beca hollowed out."

"Our scouts are testing the depth of the hole, but it seems that the pit is extrely deep. Perhaps, these are the weapons the United Military has developed during the war between them and the Colonial Dominions." The new imperial officer reported.

"I see... A reaction from what we did in Barako. Like us, they wouldn't hesitate to use their weapons. The plan to use the weapon of the Magus Tower shall continue. I want the complex to be ready for whatever enters our field of influence."

Hearing the report of the newly-arrived imperial officer, the Commander General cracked his neck while his eyes furrowed. To think that the Great War would begin in such a way. A normal battle would have been much better.

Instantaneous and useless deaths lacked honor. It was the most humiliating deaths in the imperial military, but there was nothing they could do about it. Warfare has evolved beyond their comprehension.

They were nothing more but chess pieces in the gaboard that was the primordial world.

The Commander General walked out of the eting room and marched into the hallway. He was headed towards the watchtower, a part of the complex where the spatial background was monitored by a group of Magus.

Strategic Ships belonging to the United Military tend to utilize spatial transmission for instantaneous travel. The engines they utilized hasn't yet been discovered by the Magus Tower. After all, they hadn't manage to salvage a destroyed ship of the UNSS classification.

It didn't take long for him to arrive onto the watchtower. The alarm continued to chid in the background as he questioned the group of Magus. "Spatial background report."

"In the entirety of the southern continental region, no activity in the spatial background has been detected. It appears that the United Military isn't utilizing spatial transmissions to attack us." A Magus reported, prompting him to raised an eyebrow.

Travelling across the continent of Europa without spatial transmissions could last up to days or perhaps weeks. It hasn't been long since the superpowers declared war with one another.

Unless... The United World Governnt has already been preparing this war for a long ti, planting their chess pieces in advance without the League of Humanity or the Magus Tower noticing. But how exactly?

Such a question pervaded throughout his mind as the group of Magus glanced at him, asking the sa question inside their heads. Their inquiry was about to be answered.

On the mountainous outskirts beyond the horizon of the military complex, dirt rumbled as a container rose from the ground. It was a weapon inserted by an organization long ago during the war between the Colonial Dominions and the United World Governnt.

Imprinted across its surface was the na 'Atlas Corporation', a growing rchant group sustaining connections throughout the primordial world. It seems that the shipping container belonged to the corporation.

As the interior of the contain unveiled itself, an intercontinental ballistic missile rose from its body, pointing towards the heavens. The ICBM was 40 ters long, containing five nuclear 50 gaton warheads and one Pluton, the newly-developed island sinker WMD.

When the ICBM Container Launcher connected to the mainfra of the United Military. It imdiately launched towards the heavens, leaving a plu of smoke and dust behind.

Alongside it, several ICBMs were also launched from different locations, each targeting the Austerium Imperial Military Complex. These were hypersonic missiles, capable of moving up to ten-tis the speed of sound while maintaining its maneuverability.

The alard military complex could barely react as multiple 50 gaton warheads impacted their structural shielding alongside their defensive barriers. Bright lights pierced through the desolate southern continental region, resembling that of a couple sunrises.

But the main armant wasn't the nuclear warheads. It was the newly-developed WMD, the infamous island sinker, Pluton. After breaking through several barriers, Pluton impacted the center of the Austerium Imperial Military Complex.

Several imperial soldiers and officers thought that it was nothing more but a hunk of tal that managed to puncture through their defensive networks of barriers and shieldings.

Sadly for the Austerium Imperial Military Complex, it was already working its magic beneath them.

The Commander General grinned when he watched their defenses blocking the radiating heat of the nuclear warheads. Even the sun stood no chance against imperial might. But as he was about to celebrate, the earth shook.

He turned his gaze towards the windows and saw sections of the military complex sinking into the ground. In an instant, he recollected the reconnaissance report about the southern fortress becoming a gargantuan abyss-like cavity.

"How terrifying!" He mumbled to himself as the walls and floors cracked while the ceilings above shattered into pieces of rubble. Amidst the screams and cries, the Austerium Imperial Military Complex sunk into the earth.

An area of five-hundred kiloters in diater beca a massive hole whose depth light cannot reached. It didn't take days, weeks, or months for the military complex to fall, like the coastal city of Barako. All it took was a mont, an instant.

Throughout the continent of Europa, the League of Humanity faced the bombardnt of ICBMs targeting their military infrastructure. The attacks succeeded, decapitating 50% of the military force belonging to the League of Humanity.

News about the gigantic and abyssal holes that got scattered throughout Europa. They beca part of the landscape where legends and myths would be spread about them in the far future.

But in the present, they were the testant of the United World Governnt's power and authority.
