The First Strike Protocol devastated countless areas of Europa, leaving behind abyssal holes whose depths was pervaded in darkness. Imperial military fortresses across the continental regions were erased from the map, leaving only those of the local garrison behind.

It caused the annihilation of almost 40 percent of the Continental Coalition Army, a significant portion of the military that represented the strongest personnel.

What followed after the devastation were strategic ships pierced through space and erging from the skies above the capital cities of various human nations in Europa. The World War has officially begun. A conflict that would decide the fate of the primordial world.

---

Kingdom of Alvana, a nation situated in the western continental region of Europa. According to the League of Humanity, the World War against the United World Governnt was supposed to be contained in the southern continental region.

Estimates pertained that it would take decades for the World Governnt to take control of the southern part of Europa. The only thing they needed to do was support the war effort.

Unfortunately, they were wrong.

After the First Strike Protocol that devastated countless military bases, strategic ships warped into the skies of Alvana's capital city. These tallic vessels that defied the laws of the world hovered from above, attracting the eyes of everyone.

What was supposed to be far from them had arrived to their capital in re days. These vessels seed unimpeded, as though the skies fell into the authority of the United World Governnt.

The thought alone was astounding.

Bells chid throughout the capital city as streets beca flooded with carriages of varying sizes. People who resembled those in renaissance stampeded through the sidewalk, heading towards anywhere but here.

Technology between mber nations of the League of Humanity varied. So were as advanced as the Post-Industrial Age while the others remained in their dieval Societies. It was primarily because of the already ingrained status quo.

The League of Humanity has existed hundreds of years alongside the Magus Tower. The Sovereigns, the strongest humans in the primordial world, were the pillars of civilization. Those who sought nothing but stability were given peace.

It was up to them whether or not they wish to spend more on researching more technology.

In any case, their days were numbered now that a fleet of strategic ships had made their arrival. Hovering throughout the blue skies, an admiral watched behind the windows of his vessel's bridge.

"Castles, carriages, horses, and knights... Stagnation."

He muttered under his breath while watching the capital city below. Fortunately for the kingdom, the United World Governnt had the Codex of War. The level of firepower they unleash must be equal to their opponent's defensive capabilities.

"Sir, we have intercepted a communication spell from the castle. It appears that they are calling for reinforcents from the Magus Tower." A communication operator reported to the admiral, who nodded in understanding.

"Prepare to have the chs descend into the capital. I want this city captured within two hours." He commanded, prompting personnel nearby to nod. His orders were relayed throughout the fleet, enacting the deploynt of the so-called Steel Angels.

The hatches below the strategic ships unveiled themselves. One after another, chanical Behemoths descended from the heavens like shooting stars piercing through the night skies.

Guards standing on the walls of the capital city turned their eyes upward and saw the descent of Steel Angels. Chills resounded throughout their spines as they held the handle of their blades tightly. They stood no chance against this invaders.

They were akin to gods who had finally stepped down from the heavens and dominate the lower world. So guards even kneeled and brought down their weapons.

In re monts, the morale of the royal army scattered throughout capital city collapsed. The screams and cries of peasants echoed while the bells continued to chi on the background.

It didn't take long for one of the chs to make their landings. But unlike the versions before, these were much nimbler and agile. Their thrusters propelled them upward before landing, lessening the impact on the ground.

These Steel Angels stood ten ters tall and held rifles that were no different from electromagnetic tank rounds. Dust enveloped them as the streets rumbled for a couple of seconds.

As the dust settled, their tallic bodies were unveiled. Their armor was sleek as their visor radiated with humming grace. The first that landed was a squad of eight chs, the usual composition within strategic ships.

"No wonder the admiral didn't bother supporting us with bombardnt."

"Prepare to move forward! Our mission is to capture the monarchy." The squad leader gestured forward, his ch moving with refine grace. Others followed behind as they marched through the desolate streets, unimpeded.

ch squads were scattered throughout the capital city, each occupying a vital highway that led to the only entrances and exits of the kingdom. Even if they didn't capture the castle, the collapse of the country was an inevitability.

Sowhere outside of the capital city, Magi operatives belonging to the Magus Tower has finally arrived. Serious expression pervaded their faces as they saw the complete and utter collapse of the kingdom.

In re monts, a wealthy albeit dieval kingdom fell into the hands of the United World Governnt. Their local garrison didn't stand a chance against the onslaught of the chs.

"What should we do?" A Magi operative questioned, wanting to know what their captain wanted to do. Since the League of Humanity and the Magus Tower lost the Colonial Dominions, everything had gone through a qualitative change.

The Magus were modernized alongside the strongest mber nations of the League of Humanity. In terms of technology, they were much stronger than the World War Era of humanity.

Specifically, the Magus Tower had discarded its old ways and accepted the modern warring style. Instead of being esteem scholars, every Magi produced by the tower would be considered as an operative of the organization.

"This country is lost..." Their captain muttered, sighing to himself. Fighting against a whole fleet of strategic ships was an impossibility for them. Even though they could hold of an army, they stood no chance against these vessels.

None of his teammates rejected his commands since it made sense. They weren't foolish enough to fight a losing battle. It would be better to consolidate their strength alongside nearby Magi squads.

"Let us return and report the situation. I highly doubt that only this kingdom got targeted by the World Governnt." The captain glanced at his colleagues as one of them unleashed a teleportation spell and blinked them away from the area.

The assault of the capital city wasn't rely targeted at a single kingdom within the western continental region. Every country was besieged by the United Military. One after another, they were falling to the hands of the United World Governnt.

It didn't even end with one continental region. All continental regions that surrounded the core of the League of Humanity was invaded by the World Governnt. It would be a matter of ti until they collapse and beco vassals of the UWG.

In the castle of the capital city, the earth rumbled as the walls shook and dust descended from the ceiling. The royal guard, protecting the monarchy of the kingdom, entrenched themselves into the hall. They were ready to fight to the death against the invaders.

Unlike the local garrison equipped with nothing more but swords and shields, the royal guards was directly supported by the king. They were given flintlocks from other countries as weapons, enough for handling rebels in the kingdom.

Sadly for them, even with the flintlocks under their fingers, it wouldn't do them any good.

The royal guards pointed the barrels of their flintlocks towards the wooden door of the castle. The earth kept shaking before halting for no reason. An eerie silence pervaded the area until the doors were blasted towards the empty throne.

Without any hesitation or delay, the royal guards fired at the shadows behind the cloud of dust. Yet the only thing they could hear was the armor of the chs deflecting their iron balls with ease.

One of the chs stepped forward from the cloud of dust and pointed an electromagnetic minigun towards the entrenched royal guards. The armant began rotating before unleashing destruction to everything in front of it.

Bullet holes filled the hall as corpses lay strewn all over the dust-covered floor. What was supposed to be a lavished hall beca riddled with calamity. The throne of the king was wasted into rubble while the banner from behind was torn down.

It was a horrific scene.

However... Such a scenes could be seen in every kingdom within the western continental region. Those who couldn't defend themselves because of the lack of technology were nothing more but sheep for slaughter.

"Find the monarchy." Their mission was the capture of the king and the royal family. It was vital in defeating the kingdoms of the western continental region and comncing the collapse of the monarch states.
