"No way," Fu Jinghen looked at the waiter, "We have a reservation, room 506."

"Okay, you two please follow ."

Wen Qiao was sowhat surprised, "When did you make the reservation?"

"After you told , I had Feng Li call to reserve," Fu Jinghen smiled at her. "This restaurant requires a reservation; I guessed you didn’t look closely at that link, so I had Feng Li check it out."

Wen Qiao exclaid, "You are so thoughtful, Uncle Fu."

Fu Jinghen patted her head, "We already have one scatterbrain at ho, we can’t have another."

"Oh co on, the type in that link was so small; it’s totally normal that I missed it," Wen Qiao made excuses for herself.

"Alright, it’s their mistake, nothing to do with my baby."

The leading waiter twitched his lips. Is it really okay to pick faults with this restaurant right in front of the staff?

And, the font size of their promotional articles was big enough even for those with presbyopia to see clearly.

It was clearly their own oversight, not a mistake by the restaurant.

The hot pot restaurant’s flavor was authentic, both spicy and numbing. Wen Qiao ordered the spiciest base, which thoroughly pleased her. She ate until her face turned red and she couldn’t stop.

Fu Jinghen watched the girl across him, gasping for air and fanning her mouth, quite puzzled, "How can you, a native of Jiang City, love spicy food so much?"

People from Jiang City generally have a mild palate; there are hardly any who can eat spicy food like Wen Qiao.

Because I’m not really from Jiang City.

Wen Qiao took a bite of a cold dish to alleviate the spiciness in her mouth, "Who said people from Jiang City can’t love spicy food, am I too much of a mutation?"

"Yeah."

Fu Jinghen requested a lemon water for her to help with the spiciness. But as the waiter brought in the lemon water, he unexpectedly brought in an uninvited guest.

Huo Mutian bypassed the waiter and swaggeringly sat down next to Wen Qiao, "What a coincidence."

The mont Wen Qiao saw him, she choked on a chili, leading to a constant coughing spell. Fu Jinghen hurried over to pat her back, handing her the lemon water, "Take a sip, ease it slowly."

Huo Mutian watched Wen Qiao coughing non-stop, "Seeing got you all excited, huh, pretty girl? Don’t worry, don’t hurry, your brother isn’t going anywhere."

Saying so, Huo Mutian stretched out his hand to pat Wen Qiao’s shoulder but was blocked by Fu Jinghen.

He lifted his eyes to et Fu Jinghen’s cold gaze, shrugged his shoulders, and withdrew his hand.

"What are you doing here?" Fu Jinghen asked.

"Here to eat, what else? Or do you think I ca to hit on girls?" Huo Mutian pretended not to understand Fu Jinghen’s question, "You didn’t remind , and I almost forgot. Waiter, add another set of utensils."

Wen Qiao recovered a bit, turned her head towards Huo Mutian, "You, cough, you didn’t book a spot yourself?"

"I did, but I ran into you guys here, so why not join the sa table?"

Huo Mutian nonchalantly picked up Wen Qiao’s chopsticks, just about to grab so food, when Wen Qiao snatched them back, "What are you doing? These are my chopsticks."

"No problem, your brother doesn’t mind."

Wen Qiao shot him a look, "I mind."

"Then eat at your own pace." Fu Jinghen pulled Wen Qiao from her chair and rang for the waiter to change their room.

Huo Mutian leaned back lazily, "President Fu, running off so fast, are you afraid I’ll steal her from you?"

"I just don’t want soone to spoil our dining mood," Fu Jinghen said calmly. "Since Young Mr. Huo likes leftovers, feel free to help yourself."
