"Leftovers never taste as good as returning to the old flas," Huo Mutian implied with so intent. "Don’t you think, little beauty?"

Suddenly put on the spot, Wen Qiao paused, set her cup down on the table, and replied deflectively, "I’ve never had leftovers; I can’t comnt on them."
"But going back to old flas really is quite delicious," she added.
Her simple sentence noticeably diminished the coldness in Fu Jinghen’s eyes and earned her a disdainful look from Huo Mutian.
Wen Qiao tugged at Fu Jinghen’s sleeve and whispered to him, "Let’s eat together. We’re already halfway through our al, switching rooms now would be a hassle."
Fu Jinghen looked at her, seed to think of sothing, and nodded, "Alright."
Wen Qiao moved to sit next to Fu Jinghen, leaving Huo Mutian sitting alone.
The dishes that Wen Qiao and Fu Jinghen had ordered weren’t many, and most of them had already been eaten. Fu Jinghen pushed the nu towards her, "Order whatever you want."
Huo Mutian laughed, "Funny, President Fu is surprisingly generous today, treating a rival to a al."
While picking fish bones for Wen Qiao, Fu Jinghen replied, "You treated Qiaoqiao to a al once; I’m returning the favor on her behalf."
Huo Mutian paused while flipping through the nu, then closed it and told the waiter, "I’m done looking; bring us the most expensive dishes in your restaurant."
Wen Qiao’s eye twitched. Although this hot pot restaurant occupied a large space in the expensive city center, it was still fundantally a hotpot place. She thought Fu Jinghen must have driven him crazy for him to think he was dining at the Imperial Palace.
Fu Jinghen also looked up at him, his gaze clearly conveying two words — insane.
Unperturbed, Huo Mutian kept to his own ways.
Fu Jinghen placed the deboned fish in front of Wen Qiao and added so at from the hot pot to her bowl.
Wen Qiao ate the fish and smiled at him.
Watching from across, Huo Mutian felt a taphorical toothache and knocked on the table, "I know you two made up, but do you have to show off for ?"

If this had been before, Fu Jinghen might have felt threatened by Huo Mutian, but since Wen Qiao had suggested making their relationship public, it was as if a weight had lifted from Fu Jinghen — nobody else could sway him now.
"Who’s showing off for you?" Wen Qiao swallowed her food, "Fu Jinghen has been nice to for more than a day or two. What are you, a Hollywood judge, that we need to put on a show for you?"
Huo Mutian was taken aback, then scoffed coldly, "Fickleness indeed is a woman’s nature. Just a while ago, you were calling ’brother’ every other sentence. I was only gone on a business trip for a short while, and you ran off with soone else."
"Calling you brother is a form of politeness, you understand? You’re so much older than ; should I call you ’sister’ instead?" Wen Qiao subtly watched Fu Jinghen’s reaction from the corner of her eye, relieved to see him unaffected, she continued, "Also, mind your words. What do you an ’ran off with soone else’? I’ve rely recognized my mistake and returned."
Taking advantage of the tablecloth’s cover, Wen Qiao reached out and scratched Fu Jinghen’s thigh a couple of tis until he caught her hand, making her behave.
Huo Mutian’s attempts were all smoothly countered by Wen Qiao, so he switched targets, looking at Fu Jinghen, "President Fu didn’t drive today?"
