1. Who Even Is This Tiline Wife?!
Let’s recap.
I was already dealing with:
A fire princess with anger issues (and fireworks in her purse),
An ice queen who expresses affection via hypothermia,
A tsundere ninja who could probably kill in my sleep,
A moon goddess who heals only after I suffer,
A demoness who thinks jealousy is foreplay,
And Chainsaw-Chan, my underworld fiancée with a bouquet made of literal bones.
Now?
A mystery woman from a deleted tiline has shown up with my na inked on her wrist, claiming she’s my first wife.
And she’s calm. Too calm.
She introduced herself like this:
"My na is Arisu. And in the tiline that was erased to protect the universe, we were married."
: "Ha. Haha. I think I need to lie down."
2. Emotional Nuclear War in the Library
Before I could process anything, Luna whispered:
"We have to verify the marriage."
And that’s how we ended up in the Forbidden Love Library — a floating, candlelit archive containing every romantic contract, soul bond, magical flirt, and forbidden crush in the multiverse.
Yes. It’s real.
"Yes," Airi explained. "It’s magically binding. If two people were ever in love, there’s a book here about it."
I found my section.
It was three shelves long.
Ayaka: "Told you I was main girl material!"
Lilith: "We ALL have books, sweetie. I’ve got four volus and a sequel planned."
Sayuri: "Where’s mine—WAIT WHY IS IT MARKED TRAGIC?!"
Chainsaw-Chan: "Mine’s on fire. That tracks."
Mirelle: "Mine’s frozen. This also tracks."
Arisu walked past all of them and pulled out a golden to labeled:
"Kazuki & Arisu – Tiline 47-A: The Marriage That Never Was."
She handed it to .
I opened the first page and saw myself... older. Wiser. Smiling like I’d never smiled before.
And standing beside was her.
Holding my hand.
3. Magical DNA... of the Heart
"No offense," I said, clutching the book, "but how do I know this isn’t Photoshopped magic?"
Arisu nodded and touched my forehead. A warm pulse surged through .
A mory hit .
A mont—one I never lived—of standing at a cliff, kissing her under a sky full of falling stars.
The scent of lavender. The way her hand felt in mine.
My heart skipped.
"Okay," I whispered. "So we were... real."
Ayaka: "Kazuki. No."
Sayuri: "Not another one!"
Lilith: "She is elegant. I hate that I love it."
Chainsaw-Chan revved her bouquet.
Reika: "You better not be pulling a tiline thot act. I trained for this."
4. And Then the Fighting Started
Airi: "Nobody fight in the library!"
: "Please don’t fight in the—"
BOOM.
Ayaka launched a fireball at Chainsaw-Chan.
Sayuri tried to block it and tripped over a love scroll.
Mirelle scread and iced the ceiling.
Lilith summoned shadows, Luna scread "GROUP THERAPY!" and launched everyone into a magical stasis bubble.
Except Arisu.
She just stood still, watching it all unfold.
Then, she turned to and said:
"I don’t need to fight for you. If we were truly ant to be, you’ll rember why you loved ."
Cue dramatic harp music.
5. A Private Talk with Arisu
Later that night, we sat on the edge of the floating library platform.
"Why are you here?" I asked quietly.
"I ca back to fix the mistake. You were erased from my tiline to save the world, but now that the multiverse is rging, I have a second chance."
I looked at her, heart confused.
"And if I don’t rember you?" I asked.
She smiled.
"Then I’ll fall in love with you all over again. From zero."
WELL THAT’S UNFAIRLY ROMANTIC.
Sowhere in my chest, sothing thudded. Loudly.
Cursed heart hormones.
