1. The Demon of Dating Returns

There are exactly three tis in life when you know you’re in trouble:

When your teacher calls you by your full na.

When your mom starts using emojis in serious texts.

When your forgotten childhood fiancée returns from the underworld wielding a floral chainsaw.

Guess which one I was dealing with?

Chainsaw-Chan—whose real na, it turns out, is Reika—descended upon the castle courtyard like a bride-thed boss battle from a JRPG.

She grinned, cracked her neck, and shouted:

"Hey, girls! I’m here to reclaim my man!"

Ayaka lit her hair on fire instantly. "Over my toasted body!"

Sayuri drew her sword. "Finally. A worthy opponent."

Mirelle summoned a blizzard. "This castle isn’t big enough for six."

Lilith poured wine. "This is the best day ever."

Luna just sighed. "Can we not turn our love lives into a bloodbath? Again?"

And ? I fainted.

2. A Wedding War Council

When I woke up (on a love-thed stretcher made of silk and regret), I found myself in the Ergency Fiancée Negotiation Room™.

Airi had drawn a massive diagram on a whiteboard labeled:

"Kazuki’s Romantic Life and Imminent Doom Flowchart"

There were arrows. Explosions. A doodle of crying.

"So here’s the plan," Airi said. "We let Chainsaw-Chan into the registry, but on probation."

: "WHAT REGISTRY?!"

Airi: "The official Magical Harem Matrimony Registry, duh."

Chainsaw-Chan (Reika) nodded. "Fine. I’ll play fair. For now."

She then imdiately etched her na onto my soul-binding engagent list with a cursed lipstick.

I scread.

Lilith applauded.

Luna handed a cookie.

3. Chainsaw-Chan’s Backstory (and Mild Threats)

That night, Reika sat beside on the rooftop with the quietest energy she’d displayed all day.

"I was cursed away by a jealous sorcerer when we were five," she said, staring at the stars. "I’ve trained in the underworld ever since."

"That explains the chainsaw," I muttered.

She smiled sweetly. "I forged it from the bones of demons. It purrs when I’m angry."

"Romantic," I said, scooting two inches away.

Then she leaned close. Her breath on my ear.

"I’m not here to fight, Kazuki. I’m here to win. Even if I have to seduce, slay, or sabotage my way to your heart."

I choked on my juice box.

4. The Registry Test: Date Day Chaos

The girls decided that if Reika wanted in, she had to survive the Trial of Shared Dating.

What’s that, you ask?

Simple:

All six girls go on a simultaneous date with . In public. In disguise.

Winner gets first dance rights at the (now seven-person) engagent ball.

Here’s how it went:

Sayuri tried to "accidentally" bump off Reika during ice cream. She missed and roundhouse-kicked the vendor instead.

Ayaka set her own bouquet on fire out of jealousy and caused a city-wide fire drill.

Luna used subtle moonlight illusions to block Reika’s flirt attempts, like a magical wingwoman.

Lilith challenged her to a seduction duel, complete with scoring cards.

Mirelle summoned hail every ti Reika laughed at my jokes.

Reika? She just looked at and said:

"You smiled the most when I was quiet. That’s all I need."

Oof. Critical emotional damage.

5. The Registry Ceremony (and a Surprise Crash)

Just as we were ready to officially add Reika to the harem registry (I still hate saying that out loud), a portal opened.

A voice bood:

"UNREGISTERED SOUL CONTRACT DETECTED. COMPLIANCE REQUIRED."

From the light stepped a woman in a black kimono... with my na tattooed on her wrist.

Everyone gasped.

Even Chainsaw-Chan looked confused.

The woman bowed.

"Greetings. I am Kazuki’s first wife from a forgotten tiline. And I’m here to reclaim my vows."

Everyone: What.

: Screaming. Again.
