This was Yiyi’s plan. She didn’t anticipate being able to handle the encirclent alone with Lina. Her only hope was to catch the leader first.

If she could capture that high-ranking officer, there would be no fear that they wouldn’t release her.

Of course, breaking through the heavy encirclent and attacking that officer in plain sight was by no ans a simple task. So she resorted to employing her rarely used move, an aerial flip assault.

Oh, she almost pulled her back. It’s been a while since she did sothing like this.

But this move was really effective; it propelled her right in front of the man. He stood there, posture unchanged, as straight as a pine tree, seemingly still not recovered from the series of shock.

What a great opportunity. Damn it, now watch as I finish you off.

A cold light flashed in Yiyi’s eyes, as the silver-gray handgun she scavenged from an unfortunate dead soldier glinted, pressing right against the officer’s throat, and she threatened viciously.

"Don’t move, or I’ll shoot you in the throat. Quickly order your n to drop their guns and leave."

Her voice was urgent and sharp, with a slightly breathless tone, yet she put on a fierce and nacing deanor, aiming to intimidate these people so they wouldn’t dare make any rash moves, for if sothing went wrong, she would be in big trouble.

The officer opposite tilted his head, the face under the black military cap shuddered slightly, seemingly taken aback, but then his expression grew even colder.

He was tall and thin, so even with Yiyi’s gun at his throat, life hanging by a thread, he still gazed at her with a lofty and indifferent look. His noble chin lifted, and he snorted from his nose.

"Yiyi, before you threaten people insolently, do you know what is in front of your heart?"

Yiyi’s expression changed drastically, instinctively looking down, only to see at so point, the other’s hand had reached her heart, that strong hand gripping a sleek thin blade, its gleaming sharp edge enough to chill anyone, clearly illustrating that such a blade could pierce the heart with one stab, enough to be fatal.

When did she get countered without realizing it? Cold sweat dripped down her forehead.

Surprised that this officer was not as easy to deal with as she imagined, she had been too careless about him.

No, wait.

She suddenly raised her head, her eyes staring tightly at the officer like lightning, her snow-white tense face sowhat twisted and shocked, mixed with a bit of frustration.

"It’s you, Mr. Ling Kong!"

Yiyi bit her lower lip, calling out this complex title, for a mont not knowing what to feel, her chest like a pot of boiling oil.

Of all tis, she t this person in this troubleso and dangerous mont, the last person she wanted to see, and in such a cold and ruthless manner, both holding the other’s life in their hands, like life-and-death enemies.

No, they indeed were already enemies. If the Councilman Faction and the Queen’s Faction had completely broken off, then standing on different positions, they naturally were enemies.

Even though she never took sides, in any case, she would be attributed to the Queen’s Faction because she was Governor Yun’s daughter.

In this situation, what would he do to her?

If it was before, she might dare to fantasize that he might spare her.

But considering the harsh words exchanged during their last eting, they had already severed all relations, going their separate ways, that’s completely impossible now.

"I never thought you would mix with the Queen’s Faction, overtly conspiring with them, but clearly, once you’ve served your purpose, you’ve been abandoned here."
