"Stop resisting, you violent insurgent, surrender now. Officer Helian is here, and he says if you surrender and reveal all your plans, your life will be spared," shouted an officer’s strong voice from outside.

Officer Helian? Jun Yiyi, hiding in the shadows, furrowed her brow. Is he from the Helian Family?

It’s not surprising; the Halian Clan is vast, with many officials. But it seems even they are involved this ti. The massacre on campus today is certainly extraordinary.

Asking her to surrender ans they see her as a spy for the Queen’s Party? How could they possibly spare her life? They’re probably just trying to extract the so-called Queen’s Party plan, and once they’ve used her, they’ll silence her by death.

Even though they know she’s a student, they won’t let her go. Earlier, when the soldiers heard she was Governor Yun’s foster daughter, they wanted to kill her. How could they spare the daughter of an enemy?

Today, her life truly hangs by a thread. She, Jun Yiyi, who has never fainted, unexpectedly falls into this conspiracy.

Jun Yiyi tightened her grip on the gun in her hand, cold sweat seeping into her palm. A determined resolve flashed in her eyes. Also, through the dim light outside the door, she vaguely saw a few vigilant soldiers with guns raised, standing in all directions, with two n in uniforms clearly that of officers standing in the middle. One just a low-ranking officer, while the other, judging by the style and quality of the uniform, was a high-ranking officer.

However, their faces were shrouded in shadow, making it impossible to discern their features. Yet, their calm and poised deanor, as if everything was under control, clearly showed they didn’t regard her as a threat, rely treating her as a cornered criminal with nowhere to escape.

Very well, their overconfidence might just be her chance for survival.

Can she succeed in escaping from here?

It depends on whether she can seize this critical mont.

Jun Yiyi asured the distance between them and her. Though it was a bit far, it was still within a manageable range. However, she hadn’t displayed her skills in a long while and was a bit rusty!

Hmm, although she couldn’t quite rember past events, she had figured out from daily habits that she knew martial arts and wasn’t bad at it. Today was a chance to test her agile skills.

"Okay, I surrender, but you must guarantee my safety," she lowered her voice, feigning a desperate and defeated tone.

"A woman who knows the tis. Alright, first hand over the weapon," the low-ranking officer who spoke earlier replied.

"I understand."

Jun Yiyi slowly erged from the shadows, her footsteps heavy. Suddenly, she flung open the door leading to the corridor, grabbed a table by the door, and hurled it down the stairwell towards the group below.

The group of soldiers, suddenly seeing a nacing object thrown from the shadows, reflexively raised their guns and fired at it, with the sound of rapid gunfire ringing out.

Imdiately following, a blinding light suddenly swept down from above, shining directly into their eyes. The intense laser beam was so strong they couldn’t keep their eyes open, montarily blinding the soldiers.

At this critical mont, a figure darted from the shadows, sorsaulting, nimble hands deftly grasping the stair railing. With a leap, she propelled herself like an arrow from a bow right at the high-ranking officer in the middle of the soldiers, with a posture both precise and stunning!

This was Jun Yiyi’s plan.
