Chapter 47: Extract
Victor realized the power of intimidation backed by status.
Even though he considered his mother a vicious woman, he had no intention of abandoning the advantages that ca with her existence.
Seeing the Mountain Master holding his breath, Victor patted Martin’s shoulder again before continuing forward.
The man could only follow with his head lowered.
He regretted his comnts about Alexandra.
If not for that, Victor wouldn’t have paid attention to him.
They left the academy and headed to the Russell Clan’s property.
The bald elder was still in the city.
When Victor sent the signal he had given earlier during the journey, the elder imdiately appeared in the courtyard.
"Young Master!" he greeted, clearly confused about why he had been summoned.
Evan and Martin looked at the bald old man warily.
The pressure he emitted was no less than that of the Mountain Master, yet he seed to serve rely as Victor’s attendant.
This was the Russell Clan—a clan that had produced two World Monarchs and an unparalleled genius like Margaret.
"Elder, I want to extract his Bloodline. What should I do?" Victor asked.
"Oh..." The elder’s eyes showed surprise.
"Young Master, it’s simple. Use this—just stab it into his heart. But most importantly, his cultivation must be sealed so he cannot resist."
The elder took out a bottle that looked like a drink container, but its cap was connected to a long needle.
"Is this an artifact?" Victor asked as he took it.
"Yes, an artifact for extracting things from a person’s body. It can even extract their cultivation. It was made by Master Stone in Russell City. He sells it at a high price. It works according to the wielder’s command." The bald elder chuckled darkly, and Martin trembled in fear.
"I see..." Victor nodded. "Help
seal his cultivation. I only want his Bloodline."
"Yes..."
The elder rely waved his hand, and Martin beca completely powerless.
His cultivation was locked. His aura vanished, making him look like an ordinary human.
Victor then plunged the needle into his heart.
"Extract the Bloodline!" he commanded, and the bottle began to glow.
"Ahhhh...!" Martin scread, his head thrown back and eyes wide open.
This was more than pouring salt on a wound—it was like tearing the wound apart.
"Quiet!"
Evan suddenly acted, covering Martin’s mouth to muffle his screams.
At the sa ti, Victor saw blood flowing—blood identical to his own, yet faintly radiating a golden light.
It was also mixed with golden specks.
Heaven Bloodline was red, but that was only its initial color.
As more of its potential was drawn out, it would turn gold.
Of course, a Bloodline whose potential had already been extracted could still be used by others, but it would revert to its normal state due to the new host’s lack of understanding.
Victor had no interest in using the Bloodline from the Mountain Blood Clan, even if it was Heaven-grade.
He only wanted to use it to strengthen the Bloodline Pool.
The blood began flowing into the bottle, gradually filling it.
It wasn’t that much.
The flow slowed, indicating that there was less and less blood left in Martin’s body.
Once it stopped completely, Victor pulled the needle out of his chest.
Thud!
Martin collapsed, instantly losing consciousness, his mouth agape and chest rising faintly.
DING!
(You have committed an evil act by extracting another person’s Bloodline. You gain
1 Will Power!)
[Will Power: 5]
Victor could hardly believe the notification this ti, but he clearly felt another unit of Will Power erging within him.
It was truly surprising. Instead of increasing his rit Law or Bloodline, the System chose to grant him another point of Will Power.
Victor smiled to himself.
"Elder, I’ll keep this bottle. You can request another one from Master Stone—just say I took yours," he said to the bald elder.
He needed it for the long term, so he didn’t bother transferring the blood inside.
The bald elder forced a smile and could only nod, not daring to object.
"Return my disciple!"
A large middle-aged man suddenly appeared above them.
Who else could it be but the Mountain Master?
"Hahaha, Little Mountain, is that him? Take him—we don’t need him anymore!" The bald elder kicked Martin, sending him flying toward the Mountain Master, whose face instantly flushed with anger.
"Hmph!"
He could only snort coldly before leaving.
Of course, he had been watching. If Victor had done more than just extract the Bloodline, the Mountain Master might not have remained silent.
"Let’s go back," Victor said to Evan.
Now, he wanted to return to the Bloodline Pool.
When he returned to the academy, he saw quite a few people whispering while glancing at him.
What else could they be discussing other than his bet with Martin?
If it had been a fair bet, there would be nothing to say. But if it was pure coercion and intimidation, then it was clearly excessive.
In front of the Bloodline Pool, Elder Clark stood with a frown.
He seed to know what had happened, as his gaze toward Victor was sowhat uneasy.
"Is anyone inside?" Victor asked indifferently.
"No, it’s empty..." the old man replied softly.
Hearing that, Victor pushed the door open.
He imdiately descended into the Bloodline Pool, sat down, and imrsed himself.
Then, he opened the bottle and poured its contents into the pool.
Buzz!
The pool suddenly began to boil, becoming warr.
Victor imdiately felt a drastic increase in the pool’s power.
He quickly focused on drawing out the potential of his Bloodline.
This ti, there was a clear effect.
He felt stronger than the Bloodline itself.
He could gradually draw out its potential.
If this continued, it might increase by several percent from its current re 5%.
He didn’t know if the sa condition would apply to his grandfather. Perhaps not—because even with the sa resources, results still depended on talent.
Victor was aided by the Diamond Skeleton, which was perfectly compatible with this Bloodline.
Ti passed minute by minute, and Victor began to successfully draw out the potential of the Heaven Guardian Dragon Bloodline, causing it to gradually increase in his stats.
