Chapter 651

Anton kept on walking while still looking around the harbor with Kirk, son, Omar, and Abdul following him after saying their last goodbyes to their families. He saw that the four young n were still carrying bags, but it was much smaller this ti. More than likely, they only brought things with them that they value.

“Don’t you need to talk to your employers to inform them that you all will not return to work?” Anton asked the guys, and they all laughed, but stopped when they saw he looked serious.

“Oh, I thought you were joking,” Kirk said.

“They wouldn’t care if we disappear. All of us were only allowed to work there because so of our family mbers begged them to take us,” sono added.

“Okay. So where are you going to take

next? You did tell

that you’ll bring

sowhere that I’ll enjoy.”

The four young n talked to themselves briefly, then Kirk told Anton sothing interesting.

“We can go to the carnival. The people there will not mind too much about the clothes we’re wearing as long as they see us, aning you, spending coins.”

Anton was highly intrigued and wondered what he would see at the carnival. This was the first ti he would see one. He had not been to one, and even when he was back on Earth, he never had any experience going to any amusent park.

It was still early when they arrived at the entrance of the carnival, about a couple of hours before noon. Anton handed ten gold coins to Kirk as their budget for their shenanigans for the next few hours.

“What will we see inside there?” Anton asked sono since Kirk went to get them their tickets.

“We don’t know. We’ve never been able to go inside since we can’t afford it. Based on what we heard, aside from the tickets, every establishnt inside will ask for coins,” Omar said.

The mont they entered the carnival, Anton realized that it was not an amusent park but much closer to a traveling circus. They were lucky enough that the show in the big do tent was just about to start, so Kirk paid for them, and they all excitedly entered and waited for the show to start.

When the show started, Anton saw that it was the sa as the shows one could see inside a do tent in circuses in movies. There were clowns, performing animals, skilled acrobats, and more. From start to finish, smiles and laughter never left their faces, and Anton thoroughly enjoyed it.

After a couple of hours, the show was done, so they went to find food to eat. They saw a stall grilling different ats and seafood. They spent a lot of coins and devoured a lot of food. Thankfully, there was a stall selling drinks beside the at and seafood stall, so they also drank so beers and fruit juices.

They spent an hour eating, and when they were full, they continued to roam around. They watched freak shows, magic shows, which Anton found a little ironic since this was a world of magic, acrobatic shows, and more. The only sad part was that there were no rides. Anton could also not join any of the gas that had prize rewards because, surprisingly, they had so sort of detection device that would detect if the person was a wizard or a powerful adventurer.

Anton could understand the restriction because any powerful adventurer would sweep off the prizes from those gas.

After several hours of enjoying the carnival, Kirk and the others brought Anton to the horse race track. It was also his first ti going to such an establishnt. Anton spent a total of six gold coins losing before Kirk and the others persuaded him to leave.

“We need to buy decent clothes for all of you,” Anton said to Kirk and handed the boy 100 gold coins.

Kirk and the others grinned widely, and they brought him to a dium-sized market. The four young n assured Anton that they knew what to buy, so they left him in a spellbook store that sells novice spells. Anton purchased four sets of Light, Mage Armor, and Fire Bolt spells and four sets of grimoires where the boys can record the spells they morize. He also purchased four sets of the book “Basics of Magic” so the boys could start their magic foundation.

He then went to the café beside the bookstore and ordered so pastries so they would have a reason to stay there to wait for the boys. After a couple of hours, Kirk and the others found him sitting at one of the outside tables in front of the café. They were still wearing their old clothes since, according to them, they did not want to dirty their new clothes and would wait until they took a bath.

Since the sun had already set, Anton asked Kirk to lead him back to his inn, and he gave them the na of the inn. Since Anton actually did not know where he was, it would probably take him a long ti to find his inn if he were alone.

They walked for an hour before they reached Anton’s inn, and thankfully, the one at the counter was the fat innkeeper.

“Ishmael, is the room beside mine available?”

“Yes! It also had two bedrooms, a sitting room, and a bathroom. Your four attendants can sleep two in each room. The price is the sa as your suite,” the fat innkeeper said.

Anton knew that the innkeeper was charging him way above the price of the room, but he didn’t care and gave Ishmael 100 gold coins.

The innkeeper then led everyone to the floor where Anton was staying and showed the suite beside his to them. It was the sa as his suite, and Anton laughed when he saw the four young n’s expressions. Their eyes were wide while looking around. Once the innkeeper left, Anton gave the key to Kirk, who was the leader of the four young n due to his being the oldest.

After that, Anton went around the whole suite casting the Cleaning spell to make sure that the rooms were clean, then he left one Fire Bolt lantern on each room and one Frozen Orb air conditioner in each room and instructed the four on how to turn them on and off. He told them that they needed to turn the magic devices off when they left their rooms.

Anton then gave everyone an hour to take a bath, then asked them to co to his suite so he could give more instructions to them.

While he was waiting for the guys to arrive, he prepared food for all of them, then watched short videos on the most famous short video platform on Earth. After an hour, he heard a knock on his door, and when he told them that it was open, Kirk and the others entered. When they saw the food on the table, they imdiately went there and started eating.

Anton liked the fact that the guys just did whatever they wanted and treated him as their friend. They behaved as if he had grown up with them. Once they were all full, Abdul asked him a question.

“Where did all your money co from? I don’t know how wizards earn their coins.”

“Most wizards use magic to produce items that they can sell. So of them had businesses in the city where they lived. Our family arrived from Rendindura less than a year ago, but I managed to purchase a manor and three successful businesses because I’m an extrely powerful wizard and can solo high-level dungeons,” Anton said proudly.
