Chapter 650
Anton knew that if he decided to take the four young n under his wings, he would have to be the one supervising their learning since the only one who could assist these guys to learn to beco powerful wizards in the shortest amount of ti was his father or his sister since they were the ones that had the Insight Runeword spear, except for him of course.
He could not bother his father since Anders was extrely busy leveling up, and Anton thought that it would not be a good idea to enroll these young n in Anna’s magic school just for them to be near a ditation Aura.
The problem was, once he returned to the frontline fighting the undead, Anton would have to leave them sowhere. More than likely, he would need to return to the Rose Manor and bring them with him. That ant that they would not have the benefit of the ditation Aura, and that would slow down their growth.
He thought of the fact that the point of his taking them under his family’s influence was for them to be protectors of the family, and they did not have to be strong there and then. Maybe it would be better for them to take their ti growing, since that would truly allow the family to earn their loyalty. Besides, they all have average talents. Even without the benefit of the ditation Aura, their rate of growth should not be too slow, and every ti he was with them, they could have the benefits of learning magic under the influence of the ditation Aura.
The four guys were so quiet that Anton was silent for too long.
“What are you thinking about?” Kirk asked.
Anton liked the fact that even though he told the four young n that he had reached the Supre Rank, they still treated him the sa as if he were one of their friends. More than likely, it was because he was the sa age as him and was not wearing any wizard accouternts.
“So what’s all of your plan now that you know that you’re capable of becoming wizards?”
“I’ll probably try to find a wizard who will accept
and teach . I know that in return, I can be enslaved for a long ti, but I have no choice,” Kirk said.
The other three said the sa thing.
“That ant that you will need to leave your families. Are you all okay with that?”
“It’s ti for us to leave anyway since our families have too many mouths to feed and our contributions don’t justify us staying,” sono said, and based on the other three’s expressions, their situation was similar to his.
“You know that I’ve reached the rank of Supre Wizard. What do you all think of joining my family, and I’ll give you all the resources that you all need to reach the rank of Archmage. Once you all reach that rank, you will then serve as protectors of my family and my manor in Ormunda for thirty years. I’ll give you until we’re done eating here to decide,” Anton said, then he called the waiter to bring in more food.
The five young n continued eating and drinking in silence since the four were busy contemplating Anton’s offer. Once they were all done, Kirk asked a favor from Anton.
“Can you give us an hour? I want to talk to my father first,” Kirk said, and the others were the sa.
“Sure. I’ll explore the harbor a bit, and you can find
roaming around in this place once you’ve reached your decision.”
Anton asked the waiter if he needed to pay more, and the man actually returned 10 gold coins to him as change. He gave the waiter a one gold coin tip, which made the man turn ecstatic. Kirk, Abdul, sono, and Omar hastily left, probably to get advice from soone in their families.
In the anti, Anton started roaming around one of the harbors in New Drennor. There were several harbors in the kingdom, and the one where he was supposedly was one of the smaller ones, but Anton saw that it was huge. The harbor was full of ships that had different designs, and he enjoyed observing all of them.
A lot of the ships were even bigger than the Alia, the ship that Anton and his family rode to get to the Gale Continent. So of the ships looked very grand and so looked dilapidated. One of the amusing scenes was the different mythical beings carved in the bow of the ships.
Anton was walking around, and he reached a part of the harbor that was privately owned, so there was no ship parked there. Children were jumping off to swim, though, and for a mont, Anton was tempted to jump as well and swim the ocean to try to find so treasures in the water. He liked the part that no one was chasing the children away.
He watched the children play in the water, and after a few minutes, he started walking around again to roam the harbor. He then heard his na being called. When he turned around, he saw Kirk and the others with a bunch of n and won, and based on their appearance, they were probably their parents or the adults in their families.
The four young n rushed to him, followed by their family mbers.
“Anton, can we talk there?” Kirk asked, pointing at an open shed.
Anton nodded, and everyone went there. Once they arrived, one of the n who looked like Kirk started speaking.
“My idiot son here said that they had t a powerful, supre wizard who was willing to take them under his wings. Are you really a supre wizard?” The man straightforwardly asked, although he still sounded polite.
Anton simply activated all of his buffs and his auras and used his Telekinesis spell to start floating. One of the n even went so far as to drop to his knees, which made Anton roll his eyes.
“What do you want to know?” Anton asked.
The n and won started asking questions, and Anton patiently answered all of them, even though Kirk and the others were turning red in exasperation. If he was being honest, Anton was a little glad for the four guys since apparently, their families still cared for them.
One of their concern was that his manor was in Ormunda.
“Isn’t the road too dangerous for travel?” One of them asked.
“I will not be using the road to travel ho but will use a portal,” Anton simply answered.
Ultimately, the main gist of their concern was coins, which lowered his opinion of Kirk and the others' families.
They were all basically asking Anton for coins, which sounded like they were selling the boys to him.
Anton did not want to bother with the young n’s families anymore, so he simply gave 200 gold coins to each of the boys to give to their families, and that made them all happy. Kirk, sono, Abdul, and Omar looked very angry and were glaring at their families.
“What are you all carrying? Anton asked when he noticed the boy's bags.
When they said that it was clothes, he told them to return them to their families, except those that had sentintal value to them.
“You’re clothes are too worn out. We’ll go ahead and purchase new ones,” Anton simply said.
At first, Anton was waiting for one of the young n’s families about when they could return ho for a small visit or sothing, but it was as if the mont he gave the gold coins to them, they did not care about the guys anymore. Anton just shrugged and started walking away.
