Chapter 43: The Dialogue at the Cinema

“Ran Ran, this one will do.” Jiang Yun stopped at the entrance of a movie theater.

When Jiang Yun got out of the car, he imdiately ran to Bai Ran’s car and opened the door for her enthusiastically.

Chen Chen watched Jiang Yun’s movents and did not say a word. He also got out of the car, but his expression was so cold that it seed like it could freeze everything around him.

“Ran Ran, the weather is cold tonight. Put this on.” Jiang Yun took off his jacket and gently covered Bai Ran’s shoulders. He wanted to protect her, but he was afraid that she would reject him.

“Uh…” Bai Ran frowned slightly. She did feel that this was going overboard.

However, when she thought that there was soone watching her from behind, she could not help but tighten her grip on the jacket.

“Co in for a while. I’ll go buy a ticket,” Jiang Yun said as he jogged to the cashier.

As for Chen Chen, he was treated as invisible throughout.

Chen Chen touched his nose speechlessly. Since he did not have a share anymore, he bought the ticket himself.

After entering the theater, Chen Chen sat in his seat. When he saw Jiang Yun and Bai Ran sitting together in the front row, his expression darkened.

A few minutes ago, Chen Chen had wanted to buy the seat beside them, but he was told that it was full. Helpless, he could only choose the nearest backseat.

Was he supposed to watch them get intimate?

Bai Ran felt like she was sitting on pins and needles. She had no choice. The King of Hell was watching her from behind!

Jiang Yun, on the other hand, looked relaxed as he held popcorn and drinks for Bai Ran.

Bai Ran took it gently and whispered, “Thank you.”

However, the next second, Jiang Yun reached out and took out a popcorn, feeding it to Bai Ran.

When they saw this scene, Bai Ran and Chen Chen frowned.

Although he was acting in front of Chen Chen, so of his actions were a little too intimate.

Bai Ran had just tilted her head to the side, wanting to reject him when Chen Chen kicked Jiang Yun’s seat first.

“Mr. Jiang, this is a public place. Please don’t affect everyone,” Chen Chen said softly, but his tone was firm.

Jiang Yun did not care about Chen Chen’s warning, but when he saw Bai Ran tilt her head, he could only shrug and put down his hand.

Was she really unwilling to accept his closeness at all?

The two-hour movie felt like 200 hours to Bai Ran. No matter how much she waited, the movie never ended.

Unable to stand the strange atmosphere between the three of them, Bai Ran made an excuse to go to the toilet and walked out with a bow, wanting to take a breather.

“Why are you hiding here? Do you feel uncomfortable being with your lover?”

Bai Ran turned to look. Unknowingly, Chen Chen had also followed and stood behind her.

“It’s uncomfortable with you around,” Bai Ran replied bluntly.

“You’re getting ruder and ruder to now.” Chen Chen pouted, not knowing what to feel. “Are you dying to break off ties with imdiately?!”

“Didn’t you know?” Bai Ran rolled her eyes at Chen Chen. “Didn’t you have all kinds of situations that caused you to be unable to escape?”

“What’s so good about Jiang Yun? Why are you so eager to get rid of ?!” Chen Chen took a step forward, his expression extrely ugly. As long as he saw that Jiang Yun was close to her, his heart felt like it was crawling with millions of ants! He could not stand it at all!

“Can’t you see what’s so good about Jiang Yun? He knows that he has to put on a jacket for when it’s cold. He knows that if I’m thirsty, he should pass a drink. He will consider it for . What about you? Have you thought about it at all?” Bai Ran did not retreat. She looked directly into Chen Chen’s eyes, but she felt a little guilty.

“I…” Chen Chen was speechless.

“You’re just soone who would throw down the divorce agreent for your lover.” Bai Ran smiled mockingly. “Since you’ve even done such a decisive thing, why are you still dragging things out here? Since the one you love is Hu Wan, why are you here caring who I’m with?”

“Aren’t these all the developnts you wanted from the beginning?” Bai Ran continued.

“…” Chen Chen widened his eyes and staggered a little.

He was flustered by Bai Ran’s words. He did not know what to say or what to do.

When he faced Hu Wan, all he could think about was taking care of her.

Facing Bai Ran, all he could think of was for her to give in.

“I’m sorry…” Chen Chen lowered his eyes and suddenly said slowly.

Sorry?

Bai Ran looked up instantly. This seed to be the second ti she had heard him apologize.

The last ti, it was for his rough invasion, but this ti, it was for taking her for granted in the past.

Bai Ran looked into Chen Chen’s eyes as if she wanted to know how sincere those words were.

“There’s no need to apologize.” Bai Ran thought for a few seconds and sighed. “If you had any feelings for , you wouldn’t have chosen to abandon . Since you’ve given up on , don’t torture here.”

What they did not know was that not far away, Jiang Yun was standing in a corner. Their conversation had fallen into his ears.
