Amidst the surrounding chatter, Shen Yu pushed Sir Shen over, bumping into Chu Aotian, Jiang Chenyue, and Qin Jun, who were entering.
"Mr. Chu, Mada Chu, Boss Qin, thank you for gracing us with your presence. I’m sorry for coming out late."
In such a setting, it wasn’t Shen Yu’s place to speak. Sir Shen took the lead to greet the three.
Chu Aotian was the only one among the three who knew him, and he nodded in acknowledgnt, his eyes restrained and bright, "Sir Shen, you’re too kind."
By seniority, Sir Shen was a generation above him, but in terms of capability, he dared not underestimate the middle-aged man before him.
With neatly combed gray hair and his hand resting on the wheelchair’s armrest, he smiled spiritedly, "Mr. Chu, you’re too polite with . Why didn’t you inform in advance of your visit? I could have arranged for soone to welco you earlier."
"I decided to co last minute as well."
Last minute decision?
Sir Shen felt sothing was off, but couldn’t put his finger on it at the mont. Out of polite small talk, he introduced Shen Yu, who was behind him pushing the wheelchair, to the three guests.
"Shen Yu, this is Mr. Chu and his wife, and Boss Qin from KT Entertainnt."
"Mr. Chu, Mada Chu, hello. Boss Qin, nice to et you."
He extended his hand towards Qin Jun.
Sir Shen smiled slightly, and continued, introducing to Qin Jun and the group, "Let introduce my unaccomplished grandson, Shen Yu."
Before Chu Aotian and Jiang Chenyue could speak, Qin Jun slapped away Shen Yu’s proffered hand with a ’clap’ and clicked his tongue, his upturned phoenix eyes filled with mockery, "Mr. Shen, I’ve heard of you, the brother of Shen Siyuan. I heard that Miss Shen has beco quite famous recently, causing quite a stir; over twenty and still acting like a little princess, using connections to bully others, only to end up in the police station herself."
He didn’t seem to have said much, but every word was incredibly grating.
Shen Yu’s hand was reddened from the slap, and despite Qin Jun’s rciless words, his handso face maintained a smile, though his expression turned increasingly grim as he explained harshly, "Boss Qin, where did you hear such rumors? My sister is straightforward and innocent, just got deceived, that’s all."
He was dismissive, "Tsk, over twenty and still gets deceived, seems like she’s not very bright."
Shen Yu’s handso face completely darkened, his eyes, once filled with joy, now replaced with anger, glared at Qin Jun as if they were on fire.
"Boss Qin, please watch your language!"
He straightened up, scoffing disdainfully, "Oh, got angry? I just asked you a question and you’re upset already. Mr. Shen isn’t very open-minded, is he?"
"You..."
Observing his blatantly angry expression.
Qin Jun rely raised an eyebrow.
Shen Yu’s good mood was completely ruined, feeling baffled as to why everyone targeted his sister. He couldn’t afford to fall out with Qin Jun and could only say in a low voice, "I’m not as generous as Boss Qin. When it cos to my sister, I can’t be magnanimous. If Boss Qin is just joking, please refrain from making jokes about other people’s family mbers in the future."
