"Fine, I can teach you."
Su Zhenping put down his teacup and looked at Wang Hao earnestly before adding one condition.
"You must rember, you can’t tell anyone that I’m the one who taught you martial arts."
"No problem!"
Wang Hao agreed readily.
Although he wasn’t clear on the reason, as long as Su Zhenping was willing to teach him, he wasn’t too concerned with the details.
After Su Zhenping agreed to teach Wang Hao martial arts, Wang Hao also told him about the deal he had with Wang Ming.
Su Zhenping’s eyes lit up upon hearing this and he grabbed Wang Hao’s hand, excitedly saying,
"This is so really great news, we’ve struck it rich this ti!"
Wang Hao had only shared half of the story, and yet Su Zhenping was already so delighted.
So, he went on to also tell Su Zhenping about the amazing cave he had found beneath the cliff.
Through Wang Hao’s vivid description, even though Su Zhenping hadn’t seen it with his own eyes, he could roughly guess what it was.
The two made plans to go see the cave after dark and also find a concealed place to practice Wang Hao’s martial arts.
Wang Hao felt that Su Zhenping always acted as if he was sneaking around, as if afraid of soone discovering his whereabouts.
However, he didn’t ask, and Wang Hao didn’t feel it was right to inquire, because most people have a past they don’t wish to talk about, and there was no need to satisfy his own curiosity by uncovering soone else’s scars.
"Hao brother?"
Just as Wang Hao and Su Zhenping had finished talking, Qi Shihan and Su Lin ca back from outside and were startled to see Wang Hao.
But then they disregarded Su Zhenping and ran into Wang Hao’s arms crying.
Especially Qi Shihan, who had always thought her willfulness had caused Wang Hao’s death, was now overwheld with various emotions seeing that he wasn’t dead.
"Alright, alright, you silly girl, stop crying. I’m a handso guy blessed by the Mountain God, how could I possibly die!"
Seeing them crying incessantly, Wang Hao joked.
The two girls heard Wang Hao’s teasing and broke into laughter, which gave him so peace of mind.
After soothing the two girls, Wang Hao went back to check on the greenhouses in the fields.
After several days of construction, the supporting facilities were basically complete.
What followed was equipnt calibration and transplanting the dicinal herbs they had collected.
No matter what had happened before, the cultivation of dicinal herbs couldn’t be delayed any longer, they had to act imdiately.
As for the details involved in cultivating dicinal herbs, Xia Xue didn’t have a clue, so Su Zhenping’s guidance was crucial.
After learning the situation from Wang Hao, Su Zhenping suggested starting with one greenhouse to observe before deciding on the next steps.
Wang Hao agreed, and in one afternoon Su Zhenping led the villagers to transplant the dicinal herbs they had dug up from the back mountain the day before.
The newly planted dicinal herbs wouldn’t show much change in a day or two.
Thus, Wang Hao and Su Zhenping planned to visit the cave that night.
While Wang Hao was busily working on the greenhouse, Zhao Youquan beca increasingly anxious.
Though only a small portion of the villagers supported Wang Hao, most were watching and waiting.
If Wang Hao managed to achieve sothing, he would gain an advantage in the next village chief election, which was not good news for Zhao Youquan.
"Chief, here’s a docunt from the higher-ups, I’ve put it here for you."
A village official ca to the village chief’s desk with a docunt.
"Let take a look, probably it’s the news about the matter I discussed with the town mayor."
Zhao Youquan opened the docunt, his face imdiately lighting up with joy.
"The old brother is reliable as always, this docunt couldn’t have co at a better ti!"
Zhao Youquan said happily.
The village official glanced at the docunt on the table and looked up to see Zhao Youquan with a smirk on his face, shaking his head as he walked out of the office.
As for Zhao Youquan, the village chief, most of the village officials did not dare to express their anger openly, because the town’s mayor was his cousin, so everyone had to swallow their grievances and let him boss them around.
After the village official left, Zhao Youquan spoke to himself with a smile.
"Still thinking of digging up Chinese herbs from the back mountain to transplant, I won’t even let you enter the mountain, don’t expect to carry a single grain of soil down from the mountain, I’ll show you!"
Zhao Youquan was determined not to let Wang Hao’s greenhouse get off the ground.
The sky had gradually darkened, and Wang Hao and Su Zhenping quietly entered the mountain without letting anyone know.
They went straight to the cave, and Su Zhenping was astonished by the scene inside.
He scooped up so water with his hands and tasted it, excitedly saying.
"You really must have accumulated virtue in your ancestors, finding such a hidden Dragon Pool spring."
Su Zhenping found that Wang Hao’s luck was extraordinarily good, to the point of being ridiculous.
Wang Hao just smiled and said nothing, because he couldn’t explain why he was always so lucky.
However, considering he had lived a very ordinary life before, and ever since he got the nine dragon tattoos, it seed like everything had changed.
But right now, he didn’t have ti to ponder over this matter of luck; he just wanted to quickly find out the true use of the Dragon Pool spring and whether it would help with his Chinese herb cultivation.
"What exactly is the Dragon Pool spring? What does it do?" Wang Hao asked curiously.
"The Dragon Pool spring is from the deepest underground water sources, containing a large number of mineral factors, along with many other unknown components, which to this day are not clearly understood."
"It is said that the Dragon Pool spring has the effect of reshaping life. After being heated by the Earth’s core lava, it will be ejected to the surface with the movent of the Earth’s crust, but to have such a spring continually exposed on the surface like this one is exceedingly rare!" Su Zhenping exclaid as he looked at the spring.
Hearing this, Wang Hao understood that the appearance of the Dragon Pool spring required the fulfillnt of three conditions.
First was that there must be a water flow at the deepest part of the area.
Second, this water flow must be close to the Earth’s core lava to effectively absorb the minerals and other unnad factors from the lava.
Third, there must be vigorous tectonic movent so that the river would appear on the surface.
Only when these three conditions are t concurrently can a Dragon Pool spring appear, and since these conditions are extrely rare, the Dragon Pool spring is even more precious than any treasure of gold and silver and must be carefully protected.
Just then, Wang Hao saw a centipede crawl into the cave from outside and swim around the Dragon Pool spring before climbing out and leaving.
"How strange, even centipedes know how to take baths now?" Wang Hao was quite baffled.
"It’s not bathing; it’s healing its wounds!" Su Zhenping said flatly, surprising Wang Hao even more.
"Healing wounds? Centipedes know how to heal their own wounds?" Wang Hao asked in amazent.
"Didn’t you see the shell on top of this centipede’s head was rotten? If its wounds beco inflad and are not treated, it will breed bacteria and fester to death. The Dragon Pool spring can kill most bacteria and parasites, which could help it treat its wounds," explained Su Zhenping.
"So it’s like alcohol? It’s antiseptic and kills bacteria, is the Dragon Pool spring a natural form of alcohol?" Wang Hao blurted out.
Su Zhenping gave Wang Hao a disdainful look, scolding,
"Idiot! Can alcohol kill parasites? The Dragon Pool spring can."
Watching Wang Hao, who was usually quite clever, Su Zhenping hadn’t expected him to be so dull at that mont.
After hearing Su Zhenping’s words, Wang Hao’s heart skipped a beat; he hadn’t realized the Dragon Pool spring had such significant effects. Would bathing in this water prevent one from falling ill?
It seed he had indeed found a great treasure.
Suddenly, Wang Hao wondered what would happen if he used the Dragon Pool spring to water the Chinese herbs in his greenhouse?
