Chapter 436: Chapter 282 The Beginning of the Murder Case
I don’t know how much ti had passed.
Chai Xuanyi only felt a splitting headache. In his hazy state, many fragnted images flashed through his mind, eventually piecing together into a mory!
It was a room filled with smoke. The outer room was simply furnished with only a table and a bed. On the thick woolen felt from the Western Regions, nurous people lay scattered about, their naked limbs entwined, indistinguishable whose arms and legs they were.
The entire space was pervaded with a debauched air, and what shocked Chai Xuanyi was that he himself was among them!
At that mont, his chest was bare, his clothes disheveled, with two naked won constantly rubbing against him, and the n beside him were also entangled with won, including a pair of n caught up in a passionate kiss.
Chai Xuanyi had always been a carefree man, but seeing such a scene made him want to vomit, especially since he was in it!
His expression was not one of enjoynt but of pain. He held his head, his facial muscles slightly distorted, lacking any strength to deal with the two won who were freely touching him.
“How does it feel, Brother Chai?” Suddenly soone asked him.
This was Chai Xuanyi’s first ti smoking Opium, without any feeling of floating desires, but rather a throbbing headache, continually retching.
Beside him, Dou Chengfeng pulled away the woman seeking pleasure on his body, ca closer to Chai Xuanyi, his lips slightly curled, and said slowly, “The first ti smoking Opium is like a woman’s first ti; it’s never pleasant, but if you want to experience its pleasures, you have to let go at least once.”
On the woolen felt, Chai Xuanyi, sweating profusely from the headache, still managed to answer him through the pain, “Get these two won out of here!”
Dou Chengfeng laughed softly, took a woman’s hand, and let her gently caress the bright red on Chai Xuanyi’s chest, “Favors from beauties are blessings from a past life, why be so ungracious, Brother Chai? Does this ease your headache?”
Chai Xuanyi grunted, all his strength had been used to fight off the discomfort, and now depleted, he was utterly unable to resist.
Two soft hands road over his body, incessantly lingering on sensitive spots to tease, and soon, the hands on his chest turned into mouths that gently sucked on two points. The discomfort Chai Xuanyi felt gradually subsided, replaced with a feeling of weakness. Opium had an aphrodisiac effect to so extent, hence he was easily aroused.
Dou Chengfeng glanced indifferently at the entangled figures, rose to sit at the table and poured himself a drink, while the two won who were attending him began to crowd around Chai Xuanyi.
Dou Chengfeng had also smoked Opium. Looking at such a chaotic scene, his lower body was already swollen and in imnse pain, but watching Chai Xuanyi surrounded by beauties turned that pain into a sort of relief deep inside.
Dou Chengfeng desired to have the Princess of Wenxi, but if she were just an ordinary wife, he would never resort to such an extre thod. Whether it be marriage or an affair, he wanted it to be consensual with the Princess of Wenxi. He had tried many tis before, but the princess always easily diffused his attempts, causing his curiosity about her to grow and his desire to possess her to intensify.
The scene shifted.
It was still a similar situation, but the environnt was much more lavish.
Chai Xuanyi saw himself struggling painfully on the ground, and through the veil, he could vaguely see the silhouette of a woman in yellow, her head resting on the bed, her dress falling from the low bed to the floor, her nails painted with red polish gently tapping the edge of the bed, toying with a green grape in her other hand. Her beautiful eyes watched Chai Xuanyi’s every move.
“Boring,” she uttered softly from her red lips, casually tossing the grape into the fruit plate beside her.
Seeing her motion to rise, the maid beside her imdiately reached out to assist but was pushed away. In a leisurely voice, not hurried or slow, she said, “I thought you were open-minded and extraordinary, but unfortunately, you’re no different from any common man at the mont… It turns out Dou Chengfeng might be more interesting.”
With that, she got up and left through the side door.
The room was left with only Chai Xuanyi, writhing in the torture of the drug’s thirst-inducing effect.
“Dou Chengfeng!” In extre pain, he hoarsely roared, “If I do not avenge this, I swear I’m not fit to be human!”
This isolated courtyard, no one heard his desolate cry, like that of a trapped beast.
At this mont, Chai Xuanyi felt like a bystander, able to clearly see his own wretchedness. So abject, so detestable. And his own hatred for Dou Chengfeng stemd mostly from the fact that he was the architect of this dire situation.
“Husband.” In the midst of extre pain, a pair of slightly cool hands gently covered his eyes, the thumb massaging at his temples, the voice tender.
Chai Xuanyi’s tense body gradually relaxed, greedily sniffing her faint scent, wanting to reach out and pull her hands away, but then his vision blurred, and he found himself in the eastern part of the city.
Several people were drinking and singing rrily on the hillside, tipsy from the wine, when Dou Chengfeng ordered the woman Bai Ru beside him to go to the small temple on the hilltop to fetch opium.
anwhile, He Yan and Yu Lang were already impatiently kissing each other. He Yan’s hand snaked into Yu Lang’s lower body, sotis kneading, sotis squeezing, eliciting tiny moans from him.
Chai Xuanyi disgustedly turned his head away, poured a cup of wine, and handed it to Dou Chengfeng.
Dou Chengfeng smiled faintly, took it, and drank it up in one gulp.
The spring breeze was gentle, the sunlight warm and soothing.
Chai Xuanyi coldly watched as they each fell to the ground one by one, took out the concealed sharp blade from his sleeve, and swung the knife toward Dou Chengfeng’s heart. Chai Xuanyi was trying to commit murder for the first ti, his mind muddled with bloodlust, caring for nothing else. He thought this stab would surely claim Dou Chengfeng’s life, but unexpectedly, Bai Ru, who had returned from fetching the opium, fiercely tackled him to the ground.
Chai Xuanyi’s hatred for Dou Chengfeng was bone-deep; he couldn’t miss this opportune mont he had found to poison him, and in a fit of fury, he reversed the knife and stabbed into the woman’s abdon.
“Ah!” A scream soared, startling a flock of birds in the woods into a frenzied flight.
The two maids waiting at the bottom of the hill hurried up at the sound of the noise.
Seeing that Bai Ru was motionless, Chai Xuanyi thought she was dead, and in his mont of awakening, bit his teeth and pulled the short knife out of Bai Ru’s body to attack Dou Chengfeng. In the twinkling of an eye, however, Bai Ru struggled to shield Dou Chengfeng with her body, her movent swift, catching him by surprise.
Thud, the short knife plunged into Bai Ru’s back once again.
Chai Xuanyi was astonished. It wasn’t that he underestimated won, but the blow he had delivered should have disabled even an average man from any further action!
“Yu Lang!” The two maids rushed up the hill and imdiately saw the shocking scene, their faces turning pale with horror as they stared at Chai Xuanyi.
One maid quickly regained her senses, stepped forward to pull at him, “Yu Lang, you mustn’t! Murder will be paid with one’s life! Yu Lang!”
Chai Xuanyi roughly shook her off. He had had enough; it’s not that he hadn’t thought of more covert ways to kill soone, but Dou Chengfeng was no fool. If he resorted to plots and sches, Chai Xuanyi was no match for Dou Chengfeng, and if he wanted to kill Dou Chengfeng, the plan had to be as simple as possible.
No matter how vigilant Dou Chengfeng was, he would never expect him to strike so boldly in broad daylight, risking his own life.
If it hadn’t been for their previous demand to use opium at Chai’s residence, if Dou Chengfeng, that bastard, hadn’t intended to defile his wife while in high spirits, Chai Xuanyi would not have been so impulsive.
As these thoughts flashed through his mind, Chai Xuanyi knew that once the bow was drawn, there was no turning back. Having acted, he must leave no survivors!
And at this mont, Bai Ru had exhausted all her strength, dragging Dou Chengfeng a little over half a zhang away. (
