With the addition of the in-laws and pets, the park felt livelier than ever.

It would be a perfect ti to go around and try the attractions in the amusent park, but Rong Suyin paused for a mont to present a gift for Yanyan.

"Look here, Yanyan. I have sothing for you," Rong Suyin picked up his little grandson, and they went to Yangyang, the giant panda. "I heard that you and your mutated panda forged a stronger bond now, so I thought maybe we could try to make him your mount."

The oga grandad pointed at the leather saddle firmly attached to the panda’s back.

Strapping it on looked no different from Yangyang putting on a backpack. The mutated panda could sit or stand upright without issue when no one was riding it.

But the question remains, will the panda let itself be ridden by the five-year-old?

"Having Yangyang as your mount will help you roam around the amusent park. Besides, you will look cool. So, what do you think? Let’s try?"

Rong Suyin asked the boy. Yanyan looked around, particularly gazing at his parents for permission.

Shen Yuan and Bai Tingfeng have no issues with it. In fact, they think having Yangyang as a mount was great. The mutated giant panda could serve as a car and bodyguard all at the sa ti.

"I will try. But the decision lies with Yangyang whether it was okay or not." The little boy said, full of kind consideration for his pet.

Yanyan and Rong Suyin walked up to the panda together.

Seeing his little friend approaching, Yangyang the panda imdiately perked up, his round eyes bright with excitent when they were only a few steps away.

"Yanyan," Rong Suyin said gently, "mutated animals and magical beasts are very smart. If you want one to let you ride it, you have to be friends first." He pointed at the panda’s eager eyes. "You need a strong bond like that. Then, walk up slowly, don’t scare them, and tell them what you want to do. They can understand you, in their own way."

He smiled and added, "But rember—you can’t force them. They have to agree."

"Yangyang, will it be okay if you work as my mount? Don’t worry. I will pay you with seasoned stake, fresh bamboo and waterlon ice cream! Just agree that you will let ride your back." Yanyan said to his furry friend.

The adults around smiled dotingly. Would you look at that? Such a good employer, the paynt and benefits are properly quoted upfront.

"Ao!" The giant panda made a bright, cheerful sound. Even the mutated beast is unable to resist the temptation of such handso paynt.

Rong Suyin suppressed his desire to laugh and continued, "When they expressed their agreent like that," he said, taking out a scroll, "we will then use the beast rider scroll to make it official."

Rong Suyin put Yanyan’s hand and the panda’s paws on the scroll, and the writings and symbols scribbled in it suddenly sparkled.

"The Beast Rider Scroll is used by awakeners who cannot ta animals. It creates a bond with intelligent beasts without forcing them into servitude, ensuring that the rider and the beast share responsibilities equally."

Rong Suyin finally let go of the child’s hand and the panda’s paws. "Now, from now on, you will be able to better communicate with Yangyang and ask it to be your mount. But Yanyan, you must make sure that you will never neglect him. Or else, your agreent will get nullified, and you will no longer be able to ride its back."

Yanyan blinked his bright, innocent eyes. "Don’t worry, Dada! I never neglected, Yangyang. He will always be my friend. Can I try riding now?"

Rong Suyin nodded.

"Yey!" Yanyan touched the panda’s face and asked, "Yangyang, will you let ride your back now?"

"Ao!"

’Of course!’ The panda responded to its small friend.

Suddenly, Yanyan and Yangyang’s eyes turned round. Is it just a delusion, or can they now completely understand each other’s words for real?

"What is going on?" Shen Yuan asked, seeing the abnormality between his son and the panda.

The other mbers of the Bai family knowingly smiled.

"How is it. How is the experience of hearing your beast mount’s thoughts for the first ti?" Bai Tingfeng asked.

"Am I not imagining it, Papa?!" Yanyan exclaid.

"No. From now on, you will be able to communicate clearly with your panda as long as you keep the beast riding contract active." Rong Suyin explained.

The excited little boy’s cheeks beca even more puffy, like white, chunky, at buns. "I promise not to break it! I want to continue talking with Yangyang!"

"That is great, then." Rong Suyin gave an encouraging smile. "Now, why don’t you show us the tacit understanding between the two of you?"

Of course, Yanyan is more than willing!

"Yangyang!" The boy made hand motions, and to everyone’s amazent, the tall panda stood on all fours.

Rong Suyin carefully put his grandson on the saddle. He strapped the protective harness around the boy’s waist before dropping so advice. "Avoid tensing your butt. That will make Yangyang uncomfortable. Just relax, okay?"

Yanyan quickly followed his granddad’s advice. A huge smile slowly blossod on the child’s face.

Slowly, Rong Suyin let go of his grand and took a few steps back!

Yanyan felt like he was so historical hero. He excitedly pointed his finger forward and ordered in a firm, loud voice, "Yangyang, run!"

Suddenly, the panda shot like a cannonball, catching the adults off guard.

They all followed the reckless boy, running.

But the speed of a mutated panda was not to be trifled with. It’s as fast as a galloping stallion.

"Oh shi—!" Shen Yuan cursed in surprise when he saw the panda jump onto the moving carousel. Surely, that was directed by his son!

He imdiately summoned one of his foxfire beasts to ensure Yanyan’s safety. He threw the little fox, and it landed like Simone Biles on the back of the panda.

It snarled at the panda to stop it from running around.

"Yanyan!" Rong Suyin called his grandson. It was supposed to sound like a reprimand, but due to his laboured breaths, he lacked impact.

"Hahaha! I never knew Yangyang could run that fast!" The little boy’s carefree laugh echoed.

Bai Tingfeng signalled the carousel operator to montarily stop the ride. Then he walked towards the mischievous little boy. "We also didn’t expect that you would be careless like this. We didn’t let you form a riding contract with your panda just so you could run around recklessly like that."

Bai Tingfeng pinched the boy’s cheeks. "Next ti, just stroll around. You will exhaust your Dada if you keep running around."

"Sorry, Papa. I will not do it again," The little boy cutely said.

Bai Tingfeng sighed in relief. As long as this kid doesn’t wander away from their sight, everything is good.

Shen Yuan and the others soon joined the father and son on the carousel. They surrounded the mischievous boy with laughter and kisses, playfully threatening to smother him until his face was soaked if he dared to dash off like a bullet again.

The operator promptly ran the ride.

And to the celestial fox spirit’s surprise, the carousel in this amusent park was different from what he was familiar with.

"Tingfeng, look at the ceramic horses of this carousel. They are all levitating!" Shen Yuan turned to his husband, grinning like a child.

It amused Bai Tingfeng to see the innocent side of his pregnant husband. He pulled his husband close and carried him to sit on one horse.

"Most of the rides in this amusent park are improved with magic. They should be different from the ones you saw in your world." Bai Tingfeng whispered.

Shen Yuan laughed softly. A warm tickling sensation is creeping in his heart. "Wait, did you bring us here because you also want to experience sothing different?"

"That’s part of the reason, and I also know that you would love to see the rides here because of your interest in magic." Bai Tingfeng said without hesitation. "But more than that, I just want us to have a good ti together. The world has been full of problems and chaos lately, and we’ve been caught right in the middle of it. I thought spending ti at an amusent park might give us a little breathing room."

"I love that you ca up with this. It was thoughtful and spot on," Shen Yuan planted a kiss on Bai Tingfeng’s cheek. "The best surprise so far."

To Bai Tingfeng, who painstakingly made an effort to reserve the place, this is the best complint he could ever hear. "As long as you like it. Then it is worth it."

"Fuckin’ love it. Hence, don’t bla if Yanyan and I run wild today." Shen Yuan said with a promise.

True to his words, after the levitating carousel, the Bai family started trying out the rides.

They started with Elental-Splash Ride, a water ride controlled with elental magic, then they moved on to Sky-Hop Pads (also known as Magic Trampoline).

Sky-Hop Pads was an outdoor giant trampoline that used gravity alteration magic that let the guests jump to unimaginable heights and land slowly and steadily. Shen Yuan, Yanyan and the mutated panda Yangyang all loved it so much that they spent thirty minutes jumping up and down the platform.

They went on to try the Beast-Safe Racing Track, where guests could rent tad beasts and race them around a specially enchanted course—perfectly safe, of course.

After that ca the Mini Dungeon Crawl, a fully sanitized mock dungeon that let children experience what real dungeons looked like without any danger, followed by the Bubble-Jump Plaza, where laughter echoed as everyone bounced from one floating bubble to another.

Shen Yuan must admit that experiencing the thrills without using his own magic was quite refreshing.

He didn’t even realize the ti as it passed.

In the end, it was Rong Suyin and Bai Weisheng who reminded them to take a mont of rest.

The family went to the open food stalls for snacks.

The food offered in these thed food stalls is not only colorful and photogenic, but it is also really good.

Shen Yuan was especially fond of the rainbow smoothie that the gays would love in his previous world. It is a multi-layered beverage that changes taste as you drink it.

In just one cup, Shen Yuan tasted orange, lemon and blueberry.

The entire family is enjoying their snack when suddenly, a commotion erupts from the direction of the entrance.
