"I need to retrieve my Mjolnir, which is fifty miles away. If you can help , I will reward you generously."

Stepping out of the pet store, Thor spoke with imposing confidence to George, who stood before him.

George smiled and replied,

"My price won't be cheap, you know."

"I can afford any price," Thor said, lifting his chin proudly. As long as he could retrieve Mjolnir, he would regain his powers and return to Asgard.

Mortals care about little more than gold, Thor thought. Once he had Mjolnir back, he would reward this mortal with a large chunk of gold.

"Alright, then follow ," George said, motioning for Thor to co along as he walked toward the X-Jet.

"My na is George. What's yours?"

"Thor Odinson," Thor replied, adding,

"As a mortal, you may not believe , but I am Thor, the God of Thunder from Asgard."

Every mortal Thor had encountered so far, including Jane Foster and her companions, had thought him mad. Without his powers, he had no way to prove otherwise.

"I believe you," George interrupted before Thor could finish his explanation.

"Do you know Loki?"

"Loki? He's my brother. He's still in Asgard," Thor said, surprised. This was the first ti a mortal not only believed him so easily but also knew of his brother.

"Mortal, you have sharp eyes!" Thor said, clearly in a good mood.

George didn't explain further and simply asked,

"I have a few friends. Can we bring them along?"

"Of course. As long as you get fifty miles northwest to the place with the hamr, everything else is fine," Thor said, waving dismissively.

He thought the mortals he'd encountered in Midgard so far weren't too bad—except for the ones at the hospital.

"Steve, Banner, Betty, and Logan, I've found a lead. Head back to the jet.

Tony, go fifty miles northwest of the town to a spot with a hamr and wait for us there," George instructed through his communicator.

Ten minutes later, the jet took off. Thor sat aboard, looking curious.

"So this is your mortal spaceship? It looks much better than the ones from before, but it's still rather primitive."

Steve and the others exchanged glances, throwing questioning looks at George.

George used his telepathic ability to communicate,

"His na is Thor. He's Loki's brother. In the future I've seen, he stands with us as an ally.

However, he doesn't know us yet. Let's go where he needs to go first; we might learn more."

The four glanced at one another and nodded.

Although this "Thor" seed a bit off ntally, George's words were enough to convince them to wait and see. For now, they didn't have any better leads.

"I've found the hamr. There's a group of people partying around it, but I've paid them to leave temporarily," Tony's voice ca through the communicator.

Soon, the jet arrived at the location of Mjolnir and landed smoothly.

George led the group out of the jet, where they saw Tony, dressed in his Iron Man suit, trying with all his might to lift the hamr. Despite maxing out his suit's power, Mjolnir didn't budge an inch.

"George, there's sothing strange about this hamr!" Tony said, lifting his faceplate to reveal a puzzled expression.

"I scanned it—it's brimming with an extraordinary amount of energy."

"Mortals cannot lift Mjolnir," Thor declared, brushing past Steve and Wolverine to approach the hamr with confident strides. "Only All-Father Odin and its rightful owner—, Thor, the God of Thunder—can wield it."

The group looked at George, who shook his head, signaling them not to interfere.

Thor grasped the handle of Mjolnir and pulled with all his might.

Mjolnir remained completely immovable.

Thor, unwilling to believe it, grabbed the hamr with both hands and gave it another strong pull.

Still, Mjolnir didn't budge an inch.

He braced his feet against a nearby rock and summoned every ounce of his strength, pulling with all his might. Yet, the result was the sa—nothing changed.

"How is this possible? Why? Father, why are you doing this to ?"

Thor fell to his knees, devastated, and let out a heart-wrenching cry to the heavens.

Tony, watching this scene, turned to George and asked,

"Where did you find this stage actor?"

"He's not a stage actor. He says his na is Thor, the God of Thunder from Asgard. His brother is Loki, and I've seen him in the future," George explained briefly.

Tony raised a skeptical eyebrow, clearly unconvinced.

"Asgard? You've got to be kidding . There's no way gods exist in this world. And if they did, he definitely doesn't look like one."

"Thor, can you tell us more about your situation? Maybe we can help," George said gently, turning his attention to Thor.

Thor, still in a daze, noticed soone willing to listen and began muttering his story.

"A few days ago, during my coronation ceremony..."

George summarized the tale after listening: Thor was being crowned the new king of Asgard when Frost Giants infiltrated Asgard's vault, attempting to steal the Casket of Ancient Winters, abruptly interrupting the ceremony.

Thor was enraged and wanted to lead an army to Jotunheim to teach the Frost Giants a lesson. However, Odin refused his request and reprimanded him.

Thor was furious, believing that as the ruler of the Nine Realms, Asgard's honor was at stake. Allowing a forr enemy to invade without retaliation would damage their reputation and leave them vulnerable to further attacks.

Defying Odin's orders, Thor took matters into his own hands. He gathered his closest allies—the Warriors Three, the Valkyrie Sif, and his brother Loki—and ventured into Jotunheim to confront Laufey, the King of the Frost Giants.

Laufey, however, was both arrogant and dismissive. He mocked Asgard, insulted Thor, and called him a "spoiled little prince." Thor, unable to tolerate such humiliation, swung Mjolnir and started a battle.

Surrounded and overwheld by the Frost Giants, Thor and his companions were only saved when Odin arrived just in ti.

Back in Asgard, Thor and Odin had a massive argunt. Odin, deeming Thor immature and unfit to rule, stripped him of his powers and banished him to Earth to reflect on his actions.

Overall, the story wasn't too different from the events of the movie universe. The only significant difference was that S.H.I.E.L.D., embroiled in its war with Hydra, had no ti to investigate the mysterious hamr that fell from the sky. As a result, Coulson wasn't dispatched to look into the matter.

"Do you guys believe this? Because I sure don't," Tony said, shaking his head.

He only believed in what he could see with his own eyes. To him, Thor's story sounded like an elaborate myth, too far-fetched to take seriously.

Tony theorized that the hamr's immovability was likely due to its imnse energy, causing so sort of unusual physical phenonon.
