Captain Steve Rogers had an opinion completely opposite to Tony Stark's.
"He doesn't sound like he's lying, and considering the future vision George predicted, it's not impossible."
"Maybe the aliens invading us are actually soldiers from Asgard."
Banner analyzed:
"So of the stories in mythology aren't entirely baseless.
From the perspective of ancient humans, our modern technology would have seed like myths or miracles.
If Odin, Thor, and Loki are aliens, and Asgard is an alien civilization, it's possible they visited Earth when human civilization was still in its infancy, leaving behind myths and legends.
It's not entirely out of the question."
"So, in the future George saw, Loki leading an alien invasion of Earth might be his way of killing Thor, solidifying his claim to the throne, and then ruling Earth," Tony mused, starting to be swayed by Banner's theory.
Though Tony was egotistical, he wasn't foolish. If Banner's conjecture made sense, he was willing to adjust his perspective.
"What are you all talking about? Loki would never want to kill or invade Midgard!"
Hearing their conversation, Thor's expression changed instantly, revealing an angry glare.
Tony looked at Thor incredulously and said:
"Are you serious, big guy? How are you not seeing this? It's obvious that all this chaos is Loki's doing.
He's been goading you into going to Jotunheim, and even though your All-Father Odin showed up in ti, that was probably part of Loki's plan.
He knew you'd be exiled, giving him the perfect opportunity to claim the throne. Isn't it clear this is all a setup?"
"He never urged to go! I decided that myself! He was trying to talk out of it the whole ti," Thor roared in frustration, trying to defend his brother.
No matter what this mortal said, he refused to believe in such a conspiracy against his brother.
"If you keep insulting my brother, even for George's sake, I won't hesitate to knock you out."
"If gods are all this dimwitted, I don't think we need to worry about an alien invasion," Tony muttered, rolling his eyes.
To him, this guy was either a delusional lunatic or—if he really was Thor—a muscle-bound idiot.
"My psychic ability tells he's not lying," George interjected with a serious look. "And I did find a strong energy in him, similar to what's in that hamr of his—though it's sealed."
George continued earnestly:
"If he's Thor, then we need to help him return to Asgard and stop Loki from becoming its king. That's the only way to prevent a war between Asgard and Earth in the future."
He didn't bother correcting their mistaken assumptions—it wasn't necessary.
The outco would be the sa.
As long as Loki was stopped and imprisoned in Asgard, he wouldn't have the chance to ally with Thanos. Without Loki's help, Thanos wouldn't be able to use the Space Stone to send Loki to Earth, and all the ensuing events—like the alien invasion—would never happen.
So this misunderstanding wasn't entirely wrong.
Besides, explaining Thanos and the Chitauri soldiers now would be too complicated. It wasn't the right ti to dive into such details.
"Thank you, but you can't help . Unless my father forgives , I cannot return to Asgard," Thor said, softening slightly at their offer to help. Though he was still angry at their accusations against Loki, his tone had llowed.
"Let's head back to the town first and discuss this slowly. There's always a way," George said, patting Thor on the shoulder before addressing the others.
"Let's all try to lift Mjolnir. If soone manages to pull it out, maybe we can help Thor regain his powers."
"Alright, let's give it a shot."
Everyone was intrigued by the legendary Mjolnir, which even Tony's Iron Man suit couldn't budge. Hearing George's suggestion, they were all eager to try their luck.
Wolverine Logan stepped forward, gripping the hamr's handle tightly with both hands. He summoned all his strength and gave it a fierce tug—but the hamr didn't budge an inch.
Next, Tony gave it another go. Despite his high-tech armor, he t the sa result: complete failure.
Seeing that even Logan and Tony couldn't move the hamr, Banner and Betty lost confidence. They approached the hamr, gave it a light attempt, and quickly gave up.
Banner, unwilling to risk letting the Hulk take over, wasn't pressured by George to try.
Finally, it was Captain Steve Rogers' turn. No one really expected him to succeed. After all, while Steve's strength exceeded that of a regular human, it couldn't possibly surpass the raw chanical power of Tony's suit.
But George narrowed his eyes slightly. He knew that Steve was their only real hope.
If Odin was truly slumbering and not interfering, Captain Arica could very well lift Mjolnir and temporarily gain the powers of Thor.

"Hmm, it feels... light?"
Steve stepped forward and gripped the handle of Mjolnir with both hands. He had planned to use all his strength but was shocked to find it surprisingly light. In fact, he almost fell backward from overexertion.
"This power!"
With Mjolnir in hand, Steve felt an overwhelming surge of energy course through his body. Acting on instinct, he swung the hamr and pointed it to the side. Instantly, a bolt of lightning descended from the heavens.
"How is this possible?!"
Thor watched in complete disbelief as Steve, a re mortal, not only lifted Mjolnir with ease but also wielded the power of Thor to summon lightning. His entire worldview crumbled in an instant.
What did this an? His father, Odin, had deed him unworthy, but a mortal could lift the hamr?
"Give back Mjolnir!"
With a thunderous roar, Thor charged at Steve. Without hesitation, Steve handed the hamr over.
Mjolnir belonged to Thor. Even though Steve could wield its power, he had no intention of claiming it for himself.
But when Thor grabbed Mjolnir, it instantly dropped to the ground. No matter how hard he tried, he still couldn't lift it. This left Thor completely devastated.
"Well done, Cap!"
George's eyes lit up at the sight.
If Steve could lift Mjolnir, even if Thor remained uncooperative, they could still handle the Destroyer and resolve the crisis.
The Destroyer, forged from Uru tal by Odin and empowered with his divine might, was a near-unstoppable force. Even under Loki's control, though its power was weakened significantly, it was still impervious to ordinary weapons.
Its magical resistance was especially formidable.
Only a weapon of the sa divine tier as Mjolnir could destroy it.

"A re mortal... how is this possible?!"
anwhile, back in Asgard, Loki's ntal state wasn't faring much better than Thor's.
Having dealt with Odin's slumber and assud control of Asgard as its acting king, Loki had just sent off the Warriors Three and Lady Sif. Using his magic, he decided to spy on the exiled Thor.
And just in ti, he witnessed Steve lifting Mjolnir and wielding the power of Thor.
