They lowered their heads, their previous desire for power completely extinguished.
It was clear that none of them could afford the "price," let alone defeat Dormammu.
Luo Bai observed their reactions and was very satisfied with the outco.
Seeing that no one spoke up, he waved his hand and left. anwhile, Stark remained in the training ground, waiting to train with the novice sorcerers.
As Luo Bai stepped out, he received a ssage from Polaris. He originally planned to head back to the villa, but before he could, Wong approached him.
Wong seed a little surprised, his voice carrying a hint of excitent as he spoke:
"Supre Sorcerer, your decisions always exceed my expectations."
Luo Bai smiled. "So, do you agree with Mordo? Do you think I shouldn't have done this?"
Wong imdiately shook his head. "No, no, not at all. In fact, I think what you did was absolutely right. It's even more effective than our previous thods. I can tell that those mages are now completely terrified of dark magic. I'm just... curious about one thing."
Luo Bai chuckled. "And what is that?"
Wong frowned slightly, his tone filled with confusion.
"I can understand why you let Casillas demonstrate the summoning ritual. You probably wanted the mages to see the cost of using dark magic firsthand... But the more I think about it, the more I wonder—what if Dormammu hadn't absorbed his followers just now? What would you have done then? Looking back, Dormammu was surprisingly cooperative..."

By then, every mage would know that Dormammu betrayed his own followers. Who would dare to trust him after that?

Unexpectedly, Luo Bai simply smiled and answered, "You're absolutely right. Dormammu understands this too. But I think... he had no choice. After all, he's currently severely injured and desperately needs power to recover."

After a brief silence, he blurted out, "What?! Did I hear that right? Supre Sorcerer, are you saying that Dormammu is in urgent need of strength to recover? Are you telling that... when you went to the Dark Dinsion, you actually defeated Dormammu?"
Luo Bai thought for a mont before replying casually, "You could put it that way. Dormammu lost—badly. That's why he agreed never to invade Earth again."

Wong was speechless.
He had always believed that Luo Bai managed to escape the Dark Dinsion unscathed by using so kind of trick.
But now, hearing this...
Had Luo Bai actually crushed Dormammu in a fight?!
Although Wong wasn't entirely sure about Luo Bai's full strength, he knew one thing—Luo Bai was different from the previous Supre Sorcerers.

Still in a daze, Wong watched as Luo Bai left Kamar-Taj.
Even after Luo Bai was gone, Wong still couldn't wrap his head around it.
"Seriously... we're all human... where did I go wrong..." Wong muttered to himself as he walked away.
anwhile, Luo Bai had already stepped through a portal and arrived at his New York villa.
Inside, Wanda and Polaris were sitting on the sofa, engaged in a seemingly serious conversation. The atmosphere in the room felt a little tense.
However, the mont Luo Bai appeared, Polaris quickly shifted her expression.
She stood up and greeted him warmly. "Master Luo Bai, you're here!"
Although Luo Bai didn't see Polaris often, he couldn't help but feel that she had beco much more cheerful than before.
Even Wanda, standing beside her, seed noticeably brighter. She greeted him as well. "Master Luo Bai, you're here."
Seeing this, Luo Bai felt sowhat relieved. He couldn't help but sigh. "It looks like you two have been getting along well recently."
Polaris nodded, then glanced at Wanda with a smile. "I get along really well with Sister Wanda! We seem to have a lot in common~~"
"That's good." Luo Bai nodded, then asked, "Lorna, how have you been feeling about going out and fighting alongside the Justice League recently? Are you getting used to it?"
At the ntion of the Justice League, Polaris beca even more animated.
"Not at all! I love my current life. It's just... Mr. Stark might not be as comfortable with it... since every ti I use my abilities, he has to keep his distance." Polaris said with a slightly embarrassed smile.
Hearing this, Luo Bai suddenly rembered... Polaris was practically Stark's natural counter.
"I almost forgot... Tony is pretty much powerless against you." Luo Bai chuckled.
Polaris shrugged helplessly. "The last ti we took on Hydra, Mr. Stark completely forgot about that, and honestly... so did I. He asked to use my abilities, and I wasn't paying attention... so I ended up flinging him away along with the enemies."
"..."
Luo Bai really didn't want to laugh.
But when he pictured that scene in his head... he couldn't help but smirk.
"Tony never even ntioned this to . He's probably too embarrassed to bring it up." Luo Bai joked.
Polaris sighed, looking a bit sheepish.
After chatting for a bit, Luo Bai finally got to the point. "By the way, you sent a ssage asking to co over. Did sothing happen?"
Hearing this, Polaris's expression suddenly turned serious.
She hesitated for a mont before explaining, "Master Luo Bai, I know you're very busy, and I'm sorry to disturb you... but Wanda's brother is missing."
Wanda's brother?
Quicksilver?
Missing?
