Ingesting dark energy can make one stronger, granting an imnse boost in power.

Who wouldn't want that?

Who cos to Kamar-Taj without the desire to beco a powerful sorcerer?

Even if dark magic is forbidden, how long can it truly be suppressed?

If it can't be stopped, then why try to stop it?

With this thought, Luo Bai smiled and said, "From today onward, any mage of Kamar-Taj who wishes to learn dark magic may do so. To make things easier, Casillas, would you mind demonstrating the ritual to absorb dark energy?"

As Luo Bai spoke, he turned his gaze toward Casillas.

At that mont, everyone could feel the confusion in Casillas' eyes. It was clear—this Supre Sorcerer was nothing like the one before him.

In the past, dark magic wasn't just forbidden—it was a taboo subject, even within Kamar-Taj.

No one dared to speak of it, let alone practice it, for fear of punishnt from the Sorcerer Supre.

Yet now, Luo Bai... not only lifted the ban... but was also asking Casillas to demonstrate it?

To show them how to absorb dark magic?

The training ground fell into stunned silence, but the one most shaken was Mordo.

"Supre Sorcerer! You can't do this—" Mordo blurted out, stepping forward in protest.

But before he could finish, Wong's firm voice interrupted him.

"Mordo!"

Though Wong didn't fully understand Luo Bai's intentions, he knew one thing—the Supre Sorcerer's decision was absolute.

Questioning him in front of so many people was not acceptable.

His warning made Mordo hesitate for a mont, but even then, he couldn't suppress his doubts.

"I know you are the Sorcerer Supre... but Kamar-Taj is a sacred place of magic. Dark magic has no place here! Others may be afraid to speak against this, but I refuse to stay silent!"

Mordo took a deep breath, his expression resolute.

His tone was firm, his conviction unwavering.

He knew that speaking out might anger Luo Bai, but at this mont, he no longer cared.

"Even if you, the Supre Sorcerer, believe I am defying you, I must say this!"

Mordo braced himself, expecting Luo Bai to reprimand or punish him.

But Luo Bai simply ignored him.

Instead, he turned to Casillas and, with a smile, explained, "Haven't you always wanted more mages to follow you? To follow Dormammu? Well, I'm giving you that chance. Start the summoning ritual. Any mage who wishes to join you may do so."

Luo Bai was the Supre Sorcerer.

His words, spoken before all of Kamar-Taj, were not ones he could take back.

With this declaration, Casillas' confusion faded, replaced by excitent.

As a loyal follower of Dormammu, his purpose was to lure more sorcerers into the darkness.

Only by doing so could Dormammu continue to bestow power upon him.

Now, with Luo Bai granting him this opportunity, how could he let it slip away?

His excitent was barely contained as he looked at Luo Bai and asked, "You are the Supre Sorcerer. I hope you won't go back on your word. If mages from Kamar-Taj choose to follow ... will you really let them leave?"

"Of course," Luo Bai said calmly. "They may leave whenever they wish. And I promise—I will not harm them."

Hearing this, Casillas no longer hesitated.

He turned to the gathered mages, his voice ringing out in excitent.

"You heard the Supre Sorcerer! He will not harm you! You are free to co with !"

"If you open your mind, you will understand why I follow Dormammu!"

"Because he grants power! Power unlike anything you can achieve through years of training!"

"Power so imnse, it can even grant eternal life!"

"Don't you crave strength? The power to bend space at will? To manipulate ti itself?"

"This power—the most profound magic of all—is yours, if you are willing to follow Dormammu!"

Casillas' words were filled with fervor, his voice echoing across the training ground as he tried to entice the mages to his side.

Yet despite the temptation in his words, the presence of Luo Bai kept the crowd frozen in place.

Even though so mages clearly wavered, none dared to move.

The only sound in the training ground was Casillas' desperate plea.

But no one answered.

Casillas knew it was ti to unleash his ultimate move.

"I know you don't believe . You think that gaining this kind of power must co at a heavy price, but you've all been deceived! Look at us—nothing has happened to us, has it?"

"Not only are we unhard, but we can also obtain imnse power at will!"

As Casillas spoke, he signaled to the other mages who had embraced the darkness to begin the summoning ritual.

Dark red and black magical energy converged, forming a powerful summoning array.

Several dark mages stood within the magic circle, allowing the dark energy to continuously flow into their bodies.

The energy was strange—eerie yet incredibly powerful. As it surged into their forms, all the mages could feel how much stronger they had beco.

This was a power that practitioners of traditional magic—no matter how hard they trained—could never attain.

The envious and longing expressions in the eyes of the watching mages betrayed their desires.

At that mont, Casillas continued his persuasion:

"You've seen it with your own eyes. As long as you follow Dormammu, this power can be yours."

"Dormammu does not demand years of training, nor does he require you to struggle tirelessly."

"As long as you beco his devout followers, he will grant you strength beyond imagination."

The sheer display of power, coupled with Casillas' words, began to sway so of the mages.

Slowly, a few of them stepped forward, drawn toward Casillas' summoning array, yearning for the dark power Dormammu promised.

But before they could reach him—sothing unexpected happened.

Casillas, who had been absorbing the dark energy, suddenly let out a cry of agony.

His face twisted in pain as he clutched his chest, his body trembling violently.

The intense suffering rendered him and his followers speechless.

Then, before anyone could react—

The dark energy, which had been empowering them, suddenly reversed!

Instead of granting them more strength, it began to consu them.

Casillas and his followers scread in horror as the summoning array devoured them completely.

In the blink of an eye, they vanished—absorbed into the swirling darkness—along with the summoning circle itself.

The mages who had initially considered joining stood frozen in shock.

They stared at the empty space where Casillas had stood, unable to comprehend what had just happened.

Before anyone could find their words, Luo Bai's calm voice echoed across the training ground:

"It seems Dormammu has absorbed them."

His indifferent tone sent a chill through the air.

A confused mage hesitated before asking, "Supre Sorcerer, what do you an by 'absorbed'?"

Luo Bai smiled faintly and explained:

"If you've ever studied the books on dark magic in the library, you would know that drawing power from the Dark Dinsion always cos at a cost."

"The price is your soul. The mont you offer your soul to Dormammu, you are no longer your own person—you beco his."

"It's true that Dormammu grants his followers great power... but in the end, they are rely his food. He can take back that power at any ti—absorbing their very essence whenever he pleases."

"The only way to escape this fate is simple—you must defeat Dormammu himself."

Luo Bai continued, his voice unwavering:

"I said before that if you are willing to pay the price, you are free to practice dark magic. I will not stop you."

"But understand this—once you embrace dark magic, you will no longer be considered a mage of Kamar-Taj. If Dormammu cos to claim what you owe, I will not intervene."

"From this mont on, all mages in Kamar-Taj are free to choose their own path. If you believe you have what it takes to defeat Dormammu—then go ahead. Learn dark magic to your heart's content."

The training ground fell silent.

The mages who had once been tempted by the promise of dark power now stood motionless.

They had always known that dark magic ca with consequences—but none of them had expected the price to be paid so soon.

Casillas had barely begun to harness his newfound strength when Dormammu consud him without hesitation.

Why would anyone still want to pursue such power?

The only way to escape such a fate... was to defeat Dormammu himself?

Who among them could possibly do that?

If they were capable of challenging Dormammu—why would they need to study magic at Kamar-Taj in the first place?!

At that mont, the mages of Kamar-Taj made their decision.

Those who had once entertained the thought of learning dark magic abandoned the idea completely.

Their eyes were no longer clouded by temptation.

From this day forward—dark magic would no longer hold any allure for them.
