Then, Lu Jueyu wrapped the chicken with lotus leaves and tied it with kitchen twine. When she had the chicken ready, she left her space and appeared in the kitchen. Since the brick oven was already preheated, she only had to put the chicken in and roast it for 90 minutes.

After closing the lid of the brick oven, Lu Jueyu washed her hands and walked to the balcony. While waiting for her husband to co back, she took out a book from her space to review her knowledge.

When the sun was setting, Li Chenmo ca back from Feng Lin's house. When he opened the gate, he saw his wife sleeping in a rocking chair with a book covering her face. Looking at her, he smiled amusedly.

After locking the door, he moved the carts from the bicycle, and placed it with the bicycle in the woodshed. When he was done, Li Chenmo walked up to his wife and took the book away from her face. He noticed wet spots on the pages and saw beads of sweat on his wife's forehead.

He leaned over, picked her up, and whispered, "Wife, why don't you sleep inside? You will catch a cold if you sleep outside."

Feeling her husband's warmth, Lu Jueyu humd lightly and buried herself in his arms, finding a comfortable position.

At this mont, Lu Jueyu was having a restless dream. In the dream, she was standing outside a skyscraper. She raised her head and glanced at the top floor. Although it was the first ti she saw it, she felt that this building was very familiar.

She looked around and noticed that it was her previous world. People walked past her as if they couldn't see her at all. She was sure she was dreaming because she was floating and her body was transparent, but everything felt so real. Just when she was wondering what to do, she saw a black Bentley parked in front of the main entrance.

The chauffeur opened the back seat door, and a pair of black leather shoes appeared, followed by a tall and handso man wearing a neat black suit. When the man raised his head, Lu Jueyu was stunned. Looking at that face, she whispered, "It's him…"

Although he looked several years older than she rembered, she was sure it was Yi Yan. She floated to his side and called, "Senior!"

As soon as she called him, Yi Yan stopped on his track and turned to her direction. For a mont, she thought he was looking at her, but the next mont, she heard him chuckling and said in a low voice, "I must be too tired recently. She can't possibly forgive and is willing to see anymore."

Lu Jueyu was stunned by his words and reached out to hold his arm when she saw the despair and guilt in his eyes. But before she could touch him, the surrounding environnt distorted and she appeared in a white room. She looked around and saw that this was a hospital ward. Curious, she walked over to the bed to see who the patient was.

When her eyes fell on the person on the bed, she opened her eyes wide in shock and said in disbelief, "It's impossible… How could it be ?"

She did not rember being in a hospital in her previous life. When did this happen?

She floated beside the bed, looking at her comatose self and lost in thought.

Not long after, the door was opened, and she saw her mother walking in holding a bouquet of moss rosebud. Looking at her mother, tears rolled down from the corners of her eyes. She didn't expect that she would see her biological mother again.

Her mother took out a vase from the cabinet, arranged the flowers, and placed them on the bedside table. She sat on the chair beside the bed, holding her unconscious daughter's hand, and smiled softly, "Yuyu, your uncle Wen knows that you like moss rosebud the most. He specially ordered it for you from abroad."

Her mother stroked her hand and said, "Yuyu, you've been sleeping for so long, it's ti to wake up. Didn't you say you wanted to travel to so many places and beco a famous chef? If you don't want to see him again, we can go live abroad. Mom will go with you. So, can you please wake up?"

Hearing her mother's words, she rembered her favorite flower was morning glory and not moss rosebud. It was because soone gave her that moss rosebud every day that moss rosebud beca her new favorite. When she tried to rember who had given her the flower, she felt a severe headache, as if sothing was blocking her mory.

She knew that the aning of moss rosebud was a confession of love, and this person was very important to her. So, who is this person? Why doesn't she rember him at all?

She endured the pain, gritted her teeth, and tried to rember that person's face and the mories they shared. When she felt that the mories were within her reach, everything around her was distorted and shattered into countless pieces like a broken mirror. The next second, everything turned white and empty.

The mories that were within her reach also disappeared along with the headache. Feeling the emptiness, pain, and despair in her heart, she burst into tears and whispered, "Who are you? What happened between us?"

She cried for a long ti before she heard a series of footsteps approaching her. Looking up, she saw a man in a white robe standing in front of her. A bright light ca from behind him, making her unable to see his face clearly.

The man sighed and said, "My child, didn't you already agree to exchange your mories for a wish? Why do you want to get those mories back? Did you regret your decision back then?"

Lu Jueyu didn't know what he was talking about and asked, "Who are you? I don't understand what you are talking about."
