Chapter 965: Borfan’s Sons (3)

Chapter 965

The tension in the room amongst the siblings was palpable.

It felt almost suffocating, as if an outsider walking in would have been crushed by the sheer weight of the atmosphere.

They hadn’t clashed fists or crossed swords yet, but with the way they were positioned, a violent confrontation felt inevitable.

Da looked at them with a calm expression.

He didn’t appear frightful or even threatened by their words or presence anymore.

Earlier, he would have been trembling.

But after evolving into a stage five warrior, he felt more centered.

Still miles away from their total strength, he knew they wouldn’t kill him—especially since he held the card to what they sought: unrestricted access to the Supre Magus.

Yes, they could easily storm the Dawn Faction, but the only thing staying their hand was Han.

Though powerful and unhinged, Han’s battle IQ was unmatched.

He was always cautious, analytical, and composed.

There was no way they would walk into enemy territory blind unless they were a hundred percent confident that victory was certain.

Since they weren’t in the Dawn Faction right now, it ant they were still skeptical about how formidable Grey really was.

Most especially since their father had just poured all of his Ki into the Supre Magus, his true power level remained a mystery.

The two older brothers knew exactly how strong their father actually had been.

Separately, they would lose to him, but together, they possessed an edge.

... An edge, however, didn’t necessarily an they would win.

So, with their old man’s strength now added to the Supre Magus, they needed to know him inside and out before they considered moving.

Da folded his arms across his chest and shifted into a more relaxed posture, defying their expectations.

"And if I refuse to say anything?"

Han’s lips curved into a knowing smirk, his eyes glinting.

"Trust . You don’t want to be bloodied right now."

Dan’s gaze sharpened, turning cold.

"You might be a stage five warrior now, but it doesn’t change the fact that you are still weak. Our feeble little brother. You are still in the low grade while Anna has reached the high grade." The man paused for a mont as if thinking his next words through, then added:

"... Besides; the more powerful you beco, the more grueling your punishnt will be if you don’t comply with us."

Da uncrossed his hands, a deep frown etching into his face.

"Are you even my siblings? No, tell , Dan! Aren’t siblings ant to protect? ant to care? But all you want to do is bully . For heaven’s sake, I wasn’t even in line for the clan’s throne. You both have it in the bag, so why was I always the one tortured?!"

Han and Dan exchanged brief, genuine looks of confusion.

"Uh... how does this correlate with what we want?" Han questioned with a raised brow, completely dismissive of the emotional outburst.

Before Da could reply, Anna stepped forward, her voice cutting through the air.

"What do you need this information for? Just so you know, this sa figure we speak about was the one who rescued

from the claws of those blasted n.

I was days away from death when he accidentally found and saved ." As she spoke, she glanced around the room with a sharp, defiant glare.

"... And where were my brothers at the ti? Nowhere to be found. So I would appreciate it if none of you did anything to him or his territory. Besides, why should we go out making more enemies?"

"...."

Han and Dan exchanged glances once more before focusing on Anna, who was still standing protectively in front of Da.

Tilting his body to the side, Dan glared around her at his younger brother.

"Well? Where is the information we need?"

Anna’s brow furrowed in annoyance.

’Wait. Did I just get ignored?!’

Da shifted forward, lightly pushing Anna aside to face the two titans directly.

"The Supre Magus is not of this world. He is a being that doesn’t belong to the world of warriors. He wields mystical abilities that your minds cannot even begin to comprehend. A hybrid, an anomaly the likes of which this universe hasn’t seen before."

With every word that spilled from Da’s lips, he moved forward—step by deliberate step.

"... A figure capable of harnessing the combined power of Ki and mana into sothing devastatingly powerful. A figure capable of making our old man bend his knee.

Think about it. Dad knew exactly how crazy and powerful you both are, yet he didn’t share his strength with either of you. Why do you think that was?"

Han frowned at the question, his brown eyes gleaming mischievously.

"Because he was terrified that we would shatter his power ceiling?"

Da paused, then burst out,

"Ha—ha—hah—hah! So delusional. If you truly believe that is the answer, then... ah... forget it. The Supre Magus is my friend, and if you think I will divulge any critical information regarding him, then you are goddamn wrong. So go on ahead—beat

to a pulp, but you aren’t getting a sliver of information out of !"

As he spoke, the ground beneath his boots trembled for a second, causing his eyes to drift down instinctively.

That vibration definitely didn’t originate from him!

Looking up, he saw Han directly in front of him.

The eldest brother had appeared out of nowhere, his movent so silent and precise that even the air seed to bend to his rules.

That sa chilling, haunting smile remained plastered on his face.

"Are you absolutely sure about that?"

Da’s heart pounded against his chest in fright, but he refused to lose his footing.

Ki was already flooding through his veins in anticipation of the blow.

Gulping silently, he steeled himself.

"Do your worst," he snarled.

Han’s smile widened as he leaned in a little closer, his aura suffocating. "Okay."

"...."

Then,

"Ha—ha—hah—hah!" Han erupted into laughter before twirling his finger dismissively in the air.

As he laughed, he began walking away, with Dan following closely behind him.

"... Now I’m truly intrigued about who this figure is. For our cowardly brother to talk down to us for the first ti in his pitiful life, I simply must see this fellow," Han uttered over his shoulder as he headed toward the exit, leaving Da and Anna in a state of utter confusion.

They had been expecting a brutal beatdown like the ones they suffered when they were younger, but instead, the duo was simply leaving?

Opening the door, Han halted while Dan walked out quietly into the hall.

"Oh. You need to hurry back to your so-called friend’s faction and deliver this news."

Da’s heart began to throb violently.

’I was afraid of this,’ he thought, his throat dry as he gulped.

Han smirked, turning his head slightly to lock eyes with Da one last ti.

"... The Behemoth Clan will be attacking the Dawn Faction within three days with over five hundred thousand n. I want to see how your friend’s faction will stand then."

Han cackled loudly before stepping out, the heavy door swaying slowly as it prepared to shut. Da stood there, frozen in a state of pure horror.

’What? The fuck does the Behemoth Clan want?! This is total war—and Grey isn’t even around!’
