"Hmm hmm uh-huh uh-hum" I make humming sounds with my mouth as I walk down the street to et Setsuna. She told , "Ayane, let’s et up to study at this place," and showed her phone, and I agreed.
She said it would be , her, and Hinata to study together. We studied at the library a couple of days ago, so another small study session sounds great.
Although Setsuna seed a bit strange when inviting , as if she was expecting sothing extra beyond our usual eting.
"Ayane, over here!" I hear her voice calling my attention, and I look to see Setsuna coming towards with a smile.
"Oh, Setsuna got here early," I say to her with a smile.
"Yes, I was excited to study together," she says, crossing the street completely to reach .
"Uhum, but we have to wait for Hinata," I say, looking around and seeing that she’s not here yet.
"..." Setsuna seems to think for a mont and then grabs her phone.
"Look," Setsuna says, taking out her phone, and I see Hexael appearing. It seems this little kitten really likes to follow Setsuna he’s sitting on a trash can across the street, watching us.
Leaving the brief glimpse of Hexael, I look at Setsuna’s phone, noticing that she’s sending a ssage to Hinata but with a different location than ours. Hinata confirms she’s coming, but after a while, Setsuna realizes the mistake and tries to correct it, but Hinata doesn’t see the ssage.

We walk the rest of the way in silence. Setsuna really seems to be "upset" about this Hexael thing, I wonder why.

"Setsuna, I’m sensing a monster nearby!" I tell Setsuna, looking around attentively. The street is quite empty and it’s nightti, the perfect ti for monsters to act.
"Ayane, should we get out of here?" Setsuna asks as I think.
"Maybe we should inform the base and... HINATA!!! She’s supposed to co to this place!" I say, alard as I rember that this is exactly where she should be.
"Yes, and what if she’s been caught by a monster? I an, logically, a pretty girl, alone on the street at night in an area without caras would be the perfect target for a monster to try and take," Setsuna says, and it all starts to make sense.
"If Hinata has been taken, calling soone from the base to help us will take too much ti, and if we fight, we might end up losing, but I believe we’re strong enough to defeat the monster, don’t you think?" Setsuna says as I think it over.
"You’re right... we should go check it out, I feel the presence in that direction!" I say, pointing down the path, and I realize Hexael has disappeared.
"Where’s Hexael?" I ask with doubt.
"He left a few monts ago. Let’s go, Ayane. Don’t get distracted Hinata or anyone else could be in danger. Lead the way to the monster," Setsuna says, refocusing .
"You’re right, I’m sorry for losing focus. Let’s go!" I say, following forward down the path I believe the monster is.

I follow behind Ayane as she enters an alley. I can only feel disgust towards Hexael. I did exactly what he wanted I made Hinata co to the location where there would be a monster that Hexael found in just one day, as if everything was pre-planned.
The whole planning and execution took less than two days, and here I am now, with Ayane, going to "rescue" Hinata, who at this point must be being used by soone who is being ntally controlled.
Honestly, I don’t feel anything about it, aside from a slight increase in my power. My magic clearly started growing a few minutes ago, indicating that yes, everything went as Hexael said.
There’s just one thing that bothers Hexael appeared at Ayane’s house, but he didn’t tell anything about having spent an entire night at Ayane’s house.

I’m not even sure how this mory-erasing thing works. It wasn’t explained in the contract clauses that the two of us signed, and I have no idea if it’s fully automatic or if soone has to do it.
