Morning quickly came, and since Anthony had already slept throughout yesterday, he no longer needed to sleep during the night. Instead, he simply remained awake, spending his time browsing the Internet, which was still connected to Blue Planet in the Acarnis Galaxy.
He also texted Bryan, Tiara, Bringer, Rider, Seraphim, Dale, and Reynold, informing them that he had already ascended. He spent a considerable part of the night talking with them, updating them on his situation while also listening to everything that had happened on Blue Planet since his departure.
Anthony had already restored his room to the way he had originally found it. The modern-day setting he had created earlier was removed, while the Rune Formations he had upgraded were reverted to their former states. In just a few moments, Anthony had returned everything to normal, leaving no trace that he had ever altered the room in the first place.
It wasn’t long before The Decipherer Of The Heavens arrived at the cottage, as he was meant to take Anthony to the Heavenly Library to pick out the manuals he needed.
"Good morning," Anthony greeted the man with a calm expression.
Seeing Anthony dressed in the purple robe, The Decipherer Of The Heavens simply nodded and said nothing else. Although, deep down, he was extremely bothered and concerned. After the display Anthony had shown yesterday, prehending Laws as though they were nothing and breaking through for seemingly no reason at all, The Sword Ruler had tasked him with gathering every piece of information he could about Anthony. Even the founder of the Null family himself was immensely curious about how such an extraordinary child could possibly emerge from his bloodline.
Yet The Decipherer Of The Heavens had found nothing, absolutely nothing. Every single attempt ended in plete failure, as though an invisible barrier was blocking him, and he knew exactly what it was.
It was Anthony. His Perfect One skill had gone off like an alarm bell the moment someone attempted to pry into his secrets, so Anthony had simply blocked the attempt. Unlike The First Human, Anthony did not bother fabricating false information or creating elaborate fake histories. In his opinion, it was far better to reveal nothing at all than to waste time constructing believable lies.
The Decipherer Of The Heavens could only relay that information back to The Sword Ruler and the other four Core Elders, leaving all of them baffled. Yet, paradoxically, they also felt a strange sense of understanding. If someone as outrageous as Anthony, who had casually displayed such monstrous talent yesterday, could actually be investigated so easily, then uncovering his secrets would probably be no different from uncovering anyone else’s.
Anthony turned toward Jarod and spoke.
"When I return, we will head to the Above Disciple area."
Jarod simply nodded and said nothing else.
"Let’s move," The Decipherer Of The Heavens spoke.
With that, both he and Anthony disappeared from where they stood with a single step before making their way toward the Heavenly Library on foot.
"I suppose you don’t know the classification of manuals," The Decipherer Of The Heavens spoke, his eyes turning toward Anthony for a brief moment.
"I don’t," Anthony answered truthfully, as he had not bothered checking the classifications of manuals through Thought Conception.
The Decipherer Of The Heavens nodded before beginning his explanation.
"Every manual, technique, and art is divided into five grades: the Earth Grade, the Heaven Grade, the Saint Grade, the Origin Grade, and finally, the Genesis Grade. There are no sub-grades."
Anthony listened quietly without interrupting.
"Each grade is significantly more powerful than the one before it. Outer Disciples are permitted to cultivate Earth Grade manuals. Inner Disciples also cultivate Earth Grade manuals, but they receive greater resources in other aspects, such as cultivation pills and additional benefits. Core Disciples cultivate Heaven Grade manuals, while Above Disciples cultivate Saint Grade manuals. As for the Elders, they cultivate Origin Grade manuals," The Decipherer Of The Heavens explained as they continued walking.
"What about the Genesis Grade?" Anthony finally asked.
"That is extremely rare... most sects and major powers do not possess more than two Genesis Grade manuals, and that’s assuming they even have one," The Decipherer Of The Heavens explained. "The Null Sect only possesses one known Genesis Grade cultivation manual, and we, the Five Core Elders, are the ones cultivating it," he stated.
Anthony remained silent for a moment before asking, "What about the Sect Master?"
"He possesses his own personal Genesis Grade cultivation manual that is not listed within the sect’s collection, as he personally discovered it during one of his adventures over a thousand years ago," The Decipherer Of The Heavens explained. "Anything someone discovers during their own personal time belongs to them unless they willingly choose to contribute it to the sect in exchange for greater resources and benefits," he continued. "However, situations such as The Sleeping Hollow are different. Anything discovered there belongs to the sect, while the disciples who retrieve those treasures are pensated accordingly," he added.
Anthony simply nodded and said nothing further regarding the matter. Although it might initially seem unfair that the sect claimed everything the disciples risked their lives to obtain, that was simply how the cultivation world operated. After all, the sect invested enormous amounts of resources into nurturing them every single week. This was merely one of the ways disciples repaid those investments. Besides, they were not forced to surrender everything without pensation, as the sect rewarded them fairly according to the value of whatever they brought back.
Anthony also knew that if there were treasures the Elders and Core Elders themselves had no use for, they would naturally be distributed among the Above Disciples instead. After all, no valuable resource would ever be allowed to go to waste within a sect as large as the Null Sect.
However, in situations involving ordinary missions, such as accepting a mission to eliminate a nest of beasts or exterminate dangerous creatures, if someone happened to discover some heaven-defying treasure or another valuable opportunity, then it rightfully belonged to them. Just as The Decipherer Of The Heavens had explained earlier, treasures obtained during personal missions remained the property of the individual disciple.
Anthony couldn’t help but wonder about situations where a disciple decided to secretly use one of the treasures they found. Take the Fruit Of Law, for example. What if a disciple simply consumed it while inside The Sleeping Hollow? How exactly would the sect ever find out?
It didn’t take long before Anthony arrived at an answer. Everyone who entered a place like The Sleeping Hollow was probably required to sign some kind of Law Contract before entering, just as Slave Contracts and Mana Contracts already existed. Such a contract would undoubtedly ensure that every treasure discovered within belonged to the sect, preventing anyone from secretly keeping or consuming valuable resources.
"Explain contribution points to me," Anthony said, remembering the point system that was connected to the wooden identity token.
The Decipherer Of The Heavens stared at Anthony for a brief moment, genuinely wondering whether this young man had ever asked his servant about anything at all. Letting out a quiet sigh, he proceeded to explain.
