As Viola was busy badmouthing Jade, she didn't know the ti the latter had entered back into the tent but Alex saw her first.

''I was just going to leave without been a bitch but I can't. what I hate in this world is when soone belittles and disrespect my parents in front of . ss with and you might leave unscarred but ss with my family and you are definitely not walking out alive'' Jade said and Viola looked at her flustered. She had thought Jade was gone.
Jade smiled slyly and picked the jug of water from the table, she opened it and poured the water on both of them, ''you are lucky this water happened to be chilled but don't bet on your luck next ti, you little piece of nothing. Alex, if this is the kind of woman you love, I can already see the end of where it will go. she is going to make you lose not only good people but business partners because of her mouth. Let's pretend we don't know each other when we et next ti'' Jade placed the jug down and went out.
Viola let out a scream as she looked at herself, ''Alex, look at what she did to ?''
''Let's break up. I will look for an apartnt and move out by the end of this week. I am tired of having to deal with your insecurity all the ti. Jade and I were just friends and she is important to ''
''Alex, are you breaking up with because of that woman?'' she scread ridiculously loud and the people in the tent looked at her.
''Yes, I am'' Alex picked up his blazer and ran out to look for Jade. He heard the loud screams of Viola behind him but ignored her.
Getting into his car, he drove out of the parking lot. After driving along the road slowly for a while, he spotted Jade standing near the road. He pulled over and ran over to her.
''Jade'' he ntioned her na and she turned away from him. ''I'm sorry'' he said making her stop.
'What are you sorry for?'' she asked turning to look at him. His shirt was wet and stuck to his inner single. Her muscles were on full display because of his white shirt.
''I should have stopped Viola from saying such things about you and your family''
''Is that all?''
''I sorry you had to hear that and you were right. I have already lost close female friends because of her attitude but you made realise how important friendship is today''
''Alex, I don't mind what anyone says about . but, it doesn't an I would sit back and watch anyone malign my parents''
''You are right and also, even if you don't mind, I do. I didn't like what she said about you''
''Really? Is that why you ca after ? To explain so I won't misunderstand you?'' Jade looked at his face affectionately.
''Yes, also, I broke up with her''
''You broke up with her, because of ?''
''No, it's sothing I've been thinking of doing because she was becoming too much, I couldn't watch anymore and I couldn't bear to not be friends with you anymore''
''Do you value our friendship that much?''
''Yes, I don't care about anything else but I can't stop been your friend''
Jade tried to contain her excitent as she smiled bashfully.
''Am I forgiven?''
''Huh? Yes, you are and can you do sothing about your shirt. I can't help wanting to look at you'' Jade said and pointed at his abs that were visible inside the shirt. Alex laughed and went to pick his blazer from his car. he returned back to her and handed the blazer to her saying.
''Here, hold this for '' he gave the blazer to her and started undoing his bottons and Jade coughed as she face flushed.
''What are you doing?'' she asked and looked away, ''we are in public''
''I feel cold because of the water you poured on . You made sure I took more than half of what was in the jug, he said and undid the buttons. He removed the shirt and took off his single.
Jade blushed even as she turned her back to him. She saw him putting the clothes at the backseat and knew he was now half-naked. She cussed herself for bringing this upon herself. How could she not want to see what he was made of knowing he was just half naked and standing behind her. just thinking about it alone made her ears turn red. She was a shaless ogler yet she didn't have the guts to ogle at the man behind her.
''You can turn around. I am done'' he said and she looked at her hands. It was empty. She didn't even know when he took the blazer from her. ''The place is getting cold, let's go before you catch a cold''
''Oh, yes'' she said and went straight to the passenger seat not daring to look at him. Seeing her act that way, Alex chuckled softly before going over to the driver's seat.

Amber yawned as she watched the movie. Channing looked at her and chuckled and she turned and looked at him.
''Why are you laughing?''
''You can sit for hours reading journals and analysing cases but you can't even last an hour watching a movie?''
''Do you think I was just lazing around in the house? I was working, okay?''
''Working to keep your mind of what happened?''
Amber suddenly leaned closer to his face and he pulled back on the seat, ''what are you doing?'' he asked nervously.
''Channing, can you pretend to be my boyfriend?'' she asked looking into his eyes deeply and seriously.
''Huh?''
''I have an alumni eting this weekend and everyone is supposed to go with their boyfriends. I can't go alone or my reputation as the forr campus belle will drop. You have to help '' she said and held his hand pleading.
''You can just tell them that you broke up with him''
''No, that won't do. Please, Chan, you are the only one who can help '' she pleaded.
''Can you move back a little? I can't breathe with you so close to '' he said in a hoarse voice and Amber noticed half of her body was leaning on his shoulder and sat back.
''Sorry'' she apologised and looked at the screen.
''I will do it but we have to do things my way''
''Call'' Amber replied hurriedly with a smile.
''How long is this arrangent going to last?'' Channing asked as he stared at her side profile. He could stare at her for so long and never get tired. Since high school, they have been friends and he had been in love with her but she never knew about his feelings. The only person he dared to speak about how he felt for Amber was Jade.
''How long, let's keep it for a month because so of them might suspect that I'm lying. That been said, you have to do a good job at making us look real to them, okay?''
''Don't regret or go back on your words later on''
''Don't worry, I won't'' she said and yawned again.
''Let's go before you sleep here. I can't carry you out of here'' he said and stood up.
''Tsk, you should use this ti to get use to been my fake boyfriend. let's go'' she said and picked her purse and followed him out.

Jayden pulled over in front of Kash's villa and turned to look at Ever. She was sound asleep and he didn't have the heart to wake her up. He adjusted the seat to make her comfortable a he leaned on his one seat and closed his eyes.
A mont later, Ever opened her eyes and saw that they were already at her house. She looked at Jayden who was asleep and murmured.
''He is sleeping'' she moved her body a little to look at him and her hand slipped and she stumbled, crashing into his chest and he opened her eyes. They looked at each other dreamily as Ever flushed. They were so close to each other and one mistake could make their lips touch. Her hand that laid on his chest felt hot as she felt the beating of his heart through his chest.
''Do you want to sit back first? Your hand is crashing unto my my'' he didn't complete his sentence whe Ever looked down and saw where her other hand was touched. As if scalded, she took her hand off imdiately and opened the door from her side.
''Good night'' she scread behind her as she ran into the villa. Jayden stayed in that sa position for a while staring down at his bulge.
