Nami Inoue showed a worried expression, "Could it be terrorism?"

Luke didn't answer, as he couldn't be sure either.

He recalled his conversation with Dansri Cobbs, where he advised him to be careful, and also warned himself to be cautious. Could it an he was hinting at possible retaliation by terrorists?

Luke then directly contacted the headquarters, requesting nearby patrol officers for support and inford them of his car and license plate number.

When dealing with terrorism, one can't be too careful.

Luke didn't deliberately speed up, continuing to drive normally. He reminded Nami Inoue, "If there's a shootout later, make sure you protect yourself."

Nami Inoue took a deep breath, "Is your life always this thrilling?"

"Life is about experiences, better than a dull existence," Luke retorted, "Are you scared?"

"A bit nervous, but also a little excited. Don't treat like a coward, or I wouldn't be a journalist." Nami Inoue rubbed her fair and slender hands, "Can you give a gun?"

Luke glanced at the suspect's car in the rearview mirror; it was a black Ford sedan, looking quite ordinary. "Have you ever used a gun?"

"I have a gun, but I haven't practiced much."

"Then don't use it, I'll protect you." Luke was more worried about having another incompetent comrade than facing terrorists.

Nami Inoue looked with big black eyes, "Thank you."

"Woo woo." At that mont, sirens sounded from behind.

"Get ready to evade, it's starting." Luke also turned on police lights and sirens.

A patrol car drove up behind the suspect vehicle, signaling it to stop.

The black Ford sedan didn't stop; instead, it accelerated.

Luke slowed down, blocking the Ford sedan from the front.

The patrol car behind caught up and drove to the left side of the Ford sedan, seemingly preparing to force it to stop.

Another patrol car ca up behind the Ford sedan.

The Ford sedan was now completely surrounded.

Under the pressure of the police cars, the black Ford sedan made a right turn and slowly pulled over to the roadside.

Luke got out of the car too, with a badge on his chest, holding a gun in both hands aid at the Ford sedan's driver seat, "LAPD, roll down the window, let see you."

Four patrol officers also got out of two patrol cars, all holding guns as they surrounded.

"Inside, put down the weapons and raise your hands."

The window of the black Ford sedan gradually slid down, a black man raised his hands, squeezing out a smile, "Sir, I was driving normally just now, why are you stopping ?"

An officer opened the car door, "Get out with your hands on your head, no extra movents."

"Hey, I think there might be so misunderstanding here." The black man inside the Ford sedan wanted to argue further.

The sturdily built officer yanked him out of the car, "As I said, hands on your head, get out."

The black man was pulled out of the car and pressed against the vehicle as the officer began frisking him.

A white man got out from the passenger seat, protesting, "Hey, you can't do this, we haven't done anything wrong, I think your enforcent is problematic, I'll be filing a complaint."

Luke ca over, pointing at his badge, "Take a good look, if you want to complain, complain about ." Luke then told the officer beside him, "Search him, carefully and thoroughly."

"Yes, sir."

Very soon, the officer found weapons on the black man, "Sir, I found two guns on him.

And so docunts."

Luke took the docunts and glanced at them, asking, "Are you from the Departnt of Holand Security?"

The black man nodded, "I don't want to have a conflict with you, otherwise it wouldn't be so easy to catch us."

Luke questioned, "So, should we thank you?"

"No, that's not what I an."

Luke straightforwardly asked, "Why were you following ?"

The black man didn't answer.

Luke looked at the white man in the passenger seat, picked up his docunts and looked at them, also from the Departnt of Holand Security, "You say."

The man also remained silent.

Luke asked the officer next to him, "Have you seen Departnt of Holand Security credentials before?"

The officer stood with hands on his belt, shaking his head, "No, sir."

Luke nodded, "I haven't seen them either, so I suspect their credentials are fake, possibly terrorists impersonating. Take them to the station."

"Yes, sir." The officer's response was filled with confidence; they all knew Luke had just shot a terrorist, and if they caught terrorists tonight, it would be a big achievent.

Seeing they were about to be treated as terrorists and taken away, the white man in the passenger seat beca anxious, "Captain Lee, I'd like to talk to you alone."

Luke patted the Departnt of Holand Security docunts against him, "I gave you a chance, it's your fault for not seizing it."

"Ring ring..." Luke's phone rang, it was an unfamiliar number.

Luke imdiately hung up.

The white man furrowed his brows slightly.

"Ring ring..." The phone rang again.

Luke hung up once more.

Not long after, the phone rang for the third ti.

Only then did Luke press the answer button, "Who is this?"

The two self-proclaid Departnt of Holand Security agents let out a sigh of relief.

"Captain Lee, I'm Dansri Cobbs, the assistant director of the Departnt of Holand Security, we just t this afternoon." A man's voice ca from the phone.
