Inside a dilapidated apartnt, a man with an average looking face is staring at a 2 ter long unknown high-tech object in front of him.

Yelled the man in excitent.
He is Mac, a senior highschool graduate and a soon to be college student in a third-rate university nearby.
Well, that’s how it was supported to be.
Just a week ago, Mac, who was supposed to head to the university to enroll, spent his tuition money to buy a Neuro Connector Capsule!
And the thing that he is looking at is called, Neuro Connector Capsule or NCC for short.

At the command of the captain, countless laser cannons shoot out beams of light.
All of those shots hit the enemy spaceship that is in front of them without missing.
Explosions spread, covering the space battleship from sight.
"HALT!"
The captain raised his hands, issuing a command for the shooting to stop.
Without additional explosions happening, the cover of the enemy ship slowly subsided.
When the captain saw the enemy ship again, a heavy look covered his face.
After taking those shots from the laser cannon, the enemy ship appeared unscathed!
Seeing that, the captain closed his eyes and started massaging his brows.
"Sigh... Is this going to be my last battlefield?" He muttered,
He felt hopeless after seeing that he was not even able to deal any damage to the enemy after doing an all out attack.
There is an energy shield covering the enemy ship right now.
From the looks of it, it did not expend that much energy defending from the attacks of that laser cannons.
Silence...
No one was able to say anything, at this ti, feeling hopelessness just like their captain.
Everyone here has been together since the first ti the ship has recruited mbers of it.
Everyone felt emotional knowing that this will be their last mont together.
They just stared into the darkness of the space in a daze, while even so of them were not able to hold their emotions and started crying.
Dismay, regret, anger, hopelessness, etc.
All kinds of emotions weld up inside those crew of the Battleship [Marina].
After dinner, John returned back to his room.
He jumped on his bed and let his body fall down. He stayed like that like an idiot looking at nothing for a while.
After so ti, John got bored at looking into nothing. He recited Status inside his mind.

After they finish the formality and signature signing at the agency earlier. The mission was imdiately finished and the system sent a notification but John chose not to look at it at that ti.
Now that he has ti, he decided to put his free attribute points into use.
"Hmm... Where should I put this? I should first add the three points into the vitality points to make it twenty."
Then he put his hands on his chin as he rubbed it.
After a while, he decided to just dump it all to the strength for now.
Maybe he can use it if he is ever in a fight or sothing. Better ready than late.... That is wrong, right? Hahaha.
Then he looked at his screen again. Of course the only changes are the points that he added.

Then he looked at the tokens that he had. It is more than the amount that he first receives which is 100 tokens. And that ti he was also lucky(?) there is suddenly a discount on the system shop. And he bought the item box.
This ti, he is also expecting a discount. But he did not see one after a few swipe on the system interface.
So he just gave up the thought of a discount. For now that is.
Maybe in the future there will be another discount. There will always be hope when we’re alive.
John decided to go rest for now as he is still tired because of this hectic day.
I hope tomorrow will be a good day.
Then he closed his eyes and let his body relax. And he fell asleep after just a few minutes. Showing just how exhausted he is today.

The next day, John is already awake before even the sun rises up to the sky.
"Hah!.. Hah!.. Hah!.."
John is swinging a stick just outside their house, trying to get a feel on how to use a sword by swinging this wooden stick,
slashing it and thrusting it around.
But since he did not have a teacher or master to learn even the basics of this thing, he did not know if he was doing it right. He is only basing it from what he felt, he is comfortable for him at swing it like this then he will do it like this
The sound of the wind in his every swing started to have a sense of rhythm into it as he continuously slash around with his stick.
The eyes of John slowly lost its color as only pure color black remained. But still John’s hands keep swinging and swinging repeatedly without any signs of stopping.
This is not because he fell unconscious or sothing bad to him. This is only the result of him giving all his focus to the swinging that he did not even feel the tiredness in his body. He is like a robot that just kept doing the work that it is programd to do.
Ti flies as John is still training his slashes. There is now a visible improvent in his moves that makes it look like he has been doing this for months.
After one more final slash, John dropped the wooden stick and he continuously panted hard.
"Hahh.. hahh..hahh..."
"Hahh... I know that I can just buy the swordsmanship skill... in .. the system.. shop but, kahh.... So tired."
John chose to not buy the swordsmanship skill on the system shop because it is a waste of tokens in his thought. Also he reasoned that he is still young and should move around his body more to not beco like those modern kids who know nothing but laze around inside their ho and will early because of health problems.
"But luckily, this intelligence stat is actually a great help in keeping my focus, huh."
What John is talking about is the thing that he discovered about the intelligence stats. The stat is just for the mana, but also equal to the capability of his brain. aning that if he keeps increasing that Int stat it will make his brain more capable like giving him so kind of ability, like now. The ability that the Int stat gives currently is the ability to focus on anything.
It is a great help in many sorts of ways. An example is in studying. Sotis we can’t study because it is noisy around us or there are many distractions that surround you. With the use of the focus, you can just not care about those things as you are focused to the max on doing your study. Ain’t that great
John hopes to discover more abilities that he can use in the future because of this.
He walked with his exhausted body back inside the house and went to the kitchen to grab a water.
