Jay unfolded the parchnt paper, and his eyes widened in surprise.
It is just as he and the viewers had expected, the parchnt paper indeed contains a map inside it!
The surprised look on his face soon subsided and only a smile could be seen on Jay’s face.
Turning his eyes to the cara, he said, "Everyone, just as we have thought and hoped, there’s really a map on this paper!"
His eyes were shining as he waved the parchnt paper in his hand in front of the cara.
However, Jay didn’t show the map on the stream.
This caused the viewers to start urging him.
[Let us see it too, Jay!]
[Yeah, yeah. show it, show it, show it!]
[Jay really got a treasure map?! I wanna see it!]
[I won’t believe that there’s really a map unless you show it to .]
...
There are a lot of similar comnts filling up the screen and Jay just looks at them while maintaining a smile on his face.
After watching for a while, Jay finally opened his mouth and started talking.
"Okay, okay. Everyone, please calm down for now."
It seems his words still hold so power in them, the comnts in the live stream room beca less frequent and only a few people are continuing to urge him.
Seeing that the chats have mostly cald down, Jay continued,
"So, what I want to say is that I don’t think I’ll be able to show this map to you guys even if I want to."
"Before you all even say anything else, let explain my reason first."
As Jay said that, those viewers who were about to start typing stopped their hands above their keyboards.
"First of all, if I show this map here, there’s a possibility that you will go to the location in it."
"We should all be aware that things like this might have so problems, right?"
"It might lead you all to so sort of danger. I don’t want to feel guilty because of that."
"As for the second reason... call selfish, but I want to see where this map leads to first."
"After all, if this is really a map that leads to a treasure, it’ll feel like a loss to if soone gets it."
Saying that, Jay looked at the comnts and saw so nasty words coming from another audience.
So people are already calling him greedy, unkind, opportunistic, and other more things.
From the looks of it, those people might really have so hidden motive.
However, Jay just glanced at them and didn’t really mind them.
He knows that no matter what he does, there will always be people who will contradict him whether he likes it or not.
Especially since he’s a live strear who lives off the internet.
Anyway, Jay knows that those who understand will understand and it’s not necessarily for him to continue explaining it to those who don’t want to listen.
So after talking about it with the viewers, Jay stuffed the parchnt paper in his pocket.
Honey on the side didn’t say anything about this.
Here, she’s just a guest and she doesn’t have any say about the map.
However, Honey is actually really interested in it as well.
"Jay, are you really planning to go to the location on that map?"
"Yeah, why?"
Jay, who’s already started rummaging the sack, answered without even looking.
"Uh, well... is it possible for to co with you?"
Honey asked after a mont of hesitation.
Jay finally stopped what he’s doing and turned his head to Honey.
"Are you serious? You want to go with ?"
Nodding her head, Honey looked at Jay with a hint of expectation.
Jay thought about it before replying,
"Well, you should probably talk with your managent first."
"If you’re free that ti and there’s no problem on both of our sides, then you can co with ."
Hearing Jay’s answer, Honey imdiately cheered.
Jay just smiled at her before turning his attention back to the sack.
After rummaging through the entire sack, Jay found a total of 3 things, including the map from before.
One is a letter that is sealed inside another glass bottle and the other is a key that was inside a small wooden box that’s been soaked by sea water.
Jay only glanced at them this ti before stuffing them in his pocket.
Then, he turned his attention back to the love stream.
Since he was busy, Honey took the initiative to entertain the viewers before.
Because of that, even though Jay was doing his own thing for a while, the number of viewers didn’t decrease, and even increased.
A man who seems to be in his thirties raised his head and looked at Zed.
It was his dad, Robert.
"Ah, she’s done already? Wait, you go back first, I’ll just wash my hands first."
"Okay, Dad."
Going back inside, Zed sat back down in front of the table.
His sister was also already there, still looking sleepy.
Seeing him coming back alone, his mother asked, "Where’s your father?"
"He just washed his hands. He’ll be here soon."
Just as he finished speaking, his father ca back from the outside.
"Co and sit down already. We’re about to eat." Zed’s mother, redith, urged.
With the four of them sitting down around the table and the food all served in front, the family started eating.
Besides the sound of spoon and fork, only the sound of Zed’s parents’ chattering could be heard around the table.
The breakfast didn’t last that long and soon, everyone finished eating.
Since his parents still had lots of things to do, Zed volunteered to wash the dishes.
After he’s done, Zed went to the living room and sat on the sofa.
With the sound from the TV echoing in the background, Zed muttered in a low voice,
"Status!"
The next second, a light blue translucent screen appeared in front of Zed.
[Na: Zed
Occupation: Farr
Talent: Nature’s Blessing (B), Plant Growth (D)
Rank: Iron 1
Strength: E | Constitution: E | Agility: E | Spirit: D]
[Nature’s Blessing (B): Increase the effectiveness of your crops by 5 tis.]
[Plant Growth (D): Promotes the growth of plants by 50 percent.]
...
Looking at the status board in front of him, Zed showed a complicated look on his face.
In this world, Cidel, where Zed was reborn, the way of life is not like the mundane one back on the previous Earth.
Here, things that could only be found in stories back in his original world are all present.
Such magic, monsters, and this translucent screen in front of him.
And all of these were brought about by an event that occurred more than a hundred years ago.
Year 1914.
Everyone was living their life the sa way they do everyday.
Everything was flowing in the sa direction as how history went by on Earth.
However, on one sunny day, the sound of trumpets suddenly started sounding from the sky, echoing in all parts of the world.
Then, under the fearful and confused faces of the people, multiple pillars of light descended from the sky.
The number of light pillars rose at an incredible speed.
Hundreds, thousands, ten thousands, hundreds of thousands, etc...
The people of that ti could only watch as all of this happened in front of them with questions in their minds.
Only a few years later did they learn that those pillars of light are actually the establishnt of connection between their world, Cidel, and Fiber.
Fiber is a technological world from another universe.
With its advanced technology, their world has already been through a lot of evolutions and has beco a digital world.
In there, everything has been digitized and has beco much similar to a ga world.
Unfortunately, despite their advancent, Fiber was t with a disaster that almost destroyed their world.
Millions of dungeon gates suddenly appeared all over Fiber.
Without even giving them ti to react, monsters started pouring out of those dungeon gates.
They wrecked havoc everywhere they went, causing destruction and chaos.
In the face of destruction, the leaders of Fiber launched the [Salvation] plan.
The [Salvation] plan is basically about Fiber connecting to another world in order to ask for help.
Those pillars of light that appeared on Cidel are the bridge to this connection.
Unfortunately, Cidel was only a normal world at that ti where civilization is only starting to reach the technological era.
Instead of getting help, Fiber only implicated Cidel in the disaster and the world beca overrun by monsters.
But at that mont, a miracle suddenly occurred.
People all over Cidel started awakening professions and unknown powers.
Swordmaster, magician, archers, berserker, etc. appeared among the people.
Despite being confused, the people of Cidel didn’t hesitate to use their newfound powers to fight against the monsters.
And now, hundred of years later, no more monster could be found roaming
I can’t rember, the sa damn thing, that made my heart surrender.
