There were around ten minutes left before the High Ranking Vampires were going to have their restrictions removed.

Kim Seojin found himself at the threshold of an important decision.

It was a decision that could not only decide the conclusion of this Tutorial but also the fate of a million humans.

[The Judge has started paying attention to you]

[The Judge finds the situation very interesting]

[The Judge is looking forward to your decision]

Seojin heard many notifications appearing before him which made him realize that the Judge was paying attention to him.

It was just what he wanted, but the timing was all wrong.

It would have been good if he had the advice from the Regressor, but this decision was left to him alone.

Seojin could see that the answer was more complex than it looked. The Regressor knew this was going to happen, which ant that there was a solution to this problem.

Every second was extrely important in this race against ti.

After a brief pause, Seojin finally ca to a conclusion.

He knew that this wasn't the answer that Lee Taehyung was looking for. But he also knew that it wasn't the ti to be emotional or stubborn.

The Regressor could go back in ti if he was to die. For him, life and death had no consequence. But it wasn't the sa for Seojin.

He did not know if he was going to be present in the tiline where Lee Taehyung was going to Regress next. He wasn't present in his other Regressions after all.

He was an anomaly in this tiline, one that could not exist in any other cases. This was probably his first and last opportunity, unlike the Regressor.

It was impossible to save a million people in ten minutes, especially since the building was so complex.

"We cannot save them," Seojin said.

"In that case, are you going to kill them?" Taehyung asked. "You don't have enough ti to save them, but there is definitely enough ti to kill them all."

"I will not kill them either."

"I see."

Just as he expected, Lee Taehyung did look like he was disappointed. For him, Seojin had made his choice. It was the choice to be a coward.

"Alright."

He did not express any thoughts and just agreed. They had co all this way, only to give up near the end. But it did not matter.

For him, the choice was between being a Coward and being a Villain. But for Seojin, this was a choice between life and death.

"We will leave in that case." Lee Taehyung turned around, appearing even more distant.

"Who said we are leaving?" Seojin asked in return.

Instead of leaving the building, he started running towards the lift.

"Huh?"

Taehyung looked back.

"Where are you going? Didn't you say that you will not save or kill them?"

"I still stand by my statent. I can't save them, and I can't kill them either. But who said I was going to leave?"

Seojin stopped before the lift and pressed the button.

"I ca here to screw over these Vampires. And even if I have ten minutes only, I am going to do that!"

As the elevator doors slid open, Seojin confidently stepped inside.

He turned to Taehyung and asked, "Are you coming with ?"

Taehyung gazed at Seojin, a mixture of curiosity and intrigue evident in his eyes. This man consistently surprised him with his audacity.

Unlike before, Taehyung now found himself eagerly anticipating the chaos this man could unleash upon the City of Vampires within the next ten minutes.

Without hesitation, Taehyung sprinted towards the elevator and managed to enter just before the doors closed.

However, he couldn't help but question Seojin's decision. "Why did you press the button for the top floor? The prisoners are held on the lower floors."

Upon entering the elevator, Taehyung noticed that the button for the top floor was already pressed.

The building had over a hundred floors, but even more floors were concealed beneath the surface, housing the imprisoned humans in cells resembling prisons.

Seojin's response was cryptic yet confident. "You will soon find out."

The lift started moving as it climbed higher.

Within seconds, the elevator doors opened on the hundredth floor. The speed at which the elevator moved far surpassed anything Seojin had ever experienced in his ti.

Despite the speed, the ride remained smooth, free of any discomfort.

Seojin stepped out of the elevator, accompanied by Taehyung. The advanced technology of this era did not fail to impress him.

Only nine minutes remained until the High Vampires would be released, free to take action once more.

....

The ground floor had no High Vampires protecting that place. But the hundredth floor was different.

As soon as Seojin stepped out of the lift, he saw more than ten High Vampires in the corridor.

Fortunately, the High Vampires couldn't attack them even when they were right there.

The High Vampires stood silently, their blood red eyes gazing at Seojin and Taehyung, as if they were looking forward to the mont the restrictions were going to be removed.

Seojin walked past the High Vampires. They were still under restrictions but he could still see how strong they were.

The High Vampires were as intelligent as humans. They could use all the abilities of the Vampires, but they could also use the skills just like the Players.

It was also harder to kill a High Vampire. Unlike Low Vampires, the High Vampires knew skills that protected their vitals.

They also had blood related skills which made it even harder to kill them. If possible, even Seojin did not want to fight them.

As Seojin walked past the Vampires, he noticed one particular room that was heavily protected by the Vampires.

He did not enter the room. Or rather, he could not enter the room. If he tried to push the Vampires aside, it might be taken as an attack and remove restriction on the attacked Vampire.

He entered the next room, which was not protected at all.

"It's ti to start."

Seojin drew out his rusted sword.
