Grandma Shaman prodded the girl’s forehead irritably, "You’re not that bright yourself."
On another note, Ya Li who had just returned ho after scuffling with beasts, was shocked to find his pristine yard turned into a giant battle-strewn Humming Beast Nest, with fruit pits and weeds everywhere, so even growing mold. Had Ying Yan, the slacker, forgotten his duty to maintain the garden?
Enough to make a beast rage!
Completely fuming, he turned around to find a young female welling up with tears, pouting her lips.
The agile orc jumped back, maintaining a distance, his brows knitted in fury, "Who are you? And my house...huh?"
Before he could finish his sentence, his nostrils caught a familiar scent.
Petting the girl’s head, she crept closer, looking even more wronged, her teary eyes turning into pouches.
Once she got closer, the increasingly familiar scent nestled in his nostrils. The orc’s eyes widened in surprise, as he danced around the seemingly troubled girl in joy, "ow, ow, you’ve successfully transford, haha, you look great."
"You just yelled at for throwing away fruit pits?" whined the girl.
Imdiately, Ya Li bowed in apology, "Did I? No, I was complinting you. My yard never had any trash, so without you throwing it away, I would never have known of its shortcomings. I promise to do better."
The tears faded, "Really?"
The beastman nodded eagerly, "Really, look at my sincere eyes."
ow actually stared at Ya Li’s eyes for a while, then disdainfully comnted, "Didn’t see a sincere gaze, just so eye boogers."
That was embarrassing. Such a dent on his macho beast image!
He imdiately turned away, hastily wiping off the corner of his eye. He then turned back, squatting to face ow, "You must have seen wrong. Why would I have sothing as image-damaging as that! Look again."
Naïve ow fell once again for the cunning snake’s trap, doubting herself as she looked at his pitiful face, "I’m sorry, ow made a mistake."
Ya Li, though humiliated, patted the girl’s head magnanimously, "That’s okay, I’m a generous beast, don’t worry about it."
