In the small pavilion at Fu Yi’s house, Qi Qi had just gone out to drink the wild vegetables and fruits gathered by the females in the tribe.

Fu Yi, carrying a small basket of fruit, sat opposite Xiu Yan, her expression sowhat strange, "During this ti, while constructing our houses, I found sothing odd."

Xiu Yan raised an eyebrow, "What sort of situation?"

Fu Yi furrowed her eyebrows, "Here’s the thing. When building our houses, as explained by Shaman Ji Nuan, each step is handled by a different orc. The newcors are only responsible for brick-making, and they don’t even know where we source our clay. However, once when so cubs were playing and threw around a chunk of soil, I feared for their safety and picked it up, but..."

She wore a grave expression as she looked at Xiu Yan, "This is when I realized sothing was off. This lump of soil wasn’t freshly dug, it had been baked."

Xiu Yan straightened, "You an soone in the tribe is trying to master the brick-making technology?"

Fu Yi nodded, "Yes, and since then, I’ve found lots of baked lumps of soil. The soil quality varies greatly, so clearly, there are orcs trying to find the right type of earth for brick-making. They dispose of the baked earth in our pile of discarded bricks, which is why we haven’t caught onto this for so long."

"Could this be the tribe cubs or so orcs rely firing clay for fun?"

Fu Yi shook her head, "No way. And as I said, the type of clay used for each firing is different. This orc is clearly trying to find the particular clay we use, just hasn’t figured it out yet."

Xiu Yan drumd his fingers on the table lightly, his voice soft, "Have we caught this orc yet?"

Fu Yi shook her head, "We only just discovered this lump of clay a couple of days ago. I’ve had Ying Yan join in investigating this, but we are yet to get any results."

Xiu Yan looked at Fu Yi, "Leave this to . The infiltration of an unknown orc into the tribe signifies more than just the loss of our house-building techniques. It’s potentially a safety concern for everyone in the tribe. Once you get ho, maintain normalcy; don’t act out. Understand?"

Fu Yi nodded, "Sure. Now that both you and Ya Li are back, it’s a big relief for us."

"Don’t worry; I want to see who this mysterious orc really is."

The orc’s eyes looked incredibly dangerous.

"I must go now. We four will discuss this matter later."

As Fu Yi stood up, she asked, "Should we inform Shaman Ji Nuan?"

Xiu Yan nodded, "Absolutely, not only Nuannuan but also the Clan Leader, Shaman Benny, Grandma Shaman and the orcs in charge of the different areas need to be inford. There’s a potential threat within the tribe, so everyone needs to be cautious and keep alert."

Fu Yi nodded, "Well then, I’ll leave it to Ying Yan and myself."

"You and Ying Yan should co to my house in the evening. My house is guarded by mbers of the Guard Team; other orcs won’t be able to get close."

With that, Xiu Yan quickly walked towards his ho, his stern expression inducing a chill in the unfamiliar new tribe mbers close by.

"Who was that handso orc just now?" A young orc females watched the receding figure, her face flushing.

"That’s Shaman’s partner, Xiu Yan."
