648: Chapter 303 Rickto_2 648: Chapter 303 Rickto_2 Upon hearing that the person introduced himself as coming from his little sister, Rickto’s smile beca more familiar, and he proactively declared his identity: “My na is Ricardo Hecha Drakemar, Ines’s elder brother.

May I know your na, sir?”

“Oh, it’s the second Prince, Your Highness, my apologies.” Kovis respectfully bowed: “I am Kovis Arundel, a Knight of Avalon Castle.”

After speaking, he turned sideways, raised his hand, and proactively introduced: “This is my cousin Olivia Pendragon Selva, the wife of Baron Avalon.”

“You are…

the wife of Baron Pandragon?” Rickto remarked with surprise, for the na of that southern hero who allegedly ended the Undead War was quite renowned among the kingdom’s upper echelons.

Olivia’s face turned slightly red; being introduced with the attitude of a noble lady to others using her married na was a strangely delightful feeling.

Back in Avalon, most familiar relatives and friends still preferred to call her by her na, and when teaching martial arts in the Knight Order, the knights were used to calling her ntor.

Perhaps she appeared too young, even strangers instinctively addressed her as a lady, and few were accustod to calling her Lady Olivia.

Olivia remained silent, knowing Rickto’s identity, and, like Kovis, slightly bowed in greeting without speaking further, letting Acro take over the conversation to capture the other’s attention.

Rickto felt relieved in his heart; the hero celebrated across the kingdom was naturally deserving of such a beautiful maiden.

The other party was indeed not rely a lucky individual.

However, he soon turned his full attention towards Kovis with interest.

“Sir, are you the ‘Avalon Eagle’?

The legendary Prince of Villania?”

Rickto had heard of this Magic Knight who rode the Stormhawk, followed Lord Snake Slayer in battles against the Undead, and frequently traveled between his father’s Royal Court, delivering ssages and presenting the Guardian Spirit Holy Lamp.

Especially, it was said that the identity of the Eastern Continent Villania Royal Family’s descendant was filled with legend.

Others might know little of Eastern Continent’s Villania, but Rickto had gathered so understanding of that far-off Kingdom in the mountains from ancient texts.

“Prince…” Kovis smiled bitterly, “My holand has already been conquered by another nation; I am now just an ordinary Knight loyal to Mr.

Leon, and not much of a Prince.”

“I deeply sympathize with your holand’s plight, may the…

may the Holy Sun punish those who invaded your ho.”

Rickto apologized, but couldn’t resist the urge for foreign knowledge, so he extended an invitation: “Lord Cowis, if it’s not an intrusion, would you have ti to attend my tea party during your visit to the Capital?

I’m very interested in everything about the Eastern Continent, but, unfortunately, Orland is situated at the Western Continent’s edge, making it difficult to learn more about the other end of the Continent.”

After speaking, Rickto didn’t forget to smile at Olivia: “Lady Olivia, if you and your husband Baron Leon are interested, you are very welco to attend as well.”

Olivia seed to snap back to reality, shifting her attention from elsewhere and looking at Rickto.

“Thank you for the invitation, Your Highness.

As for Leon, I’ll ask him later, but my husband is here at the Capital to participate in the upcoming Knight Tournant and also engaged in official duties entrusted by your father.

If he cannot spare ti to visit, I beg Your Highness’s understanding.”

After a polite response, Olivia saw Rickto enthusiastically chatting with Acro again, and her glance appeared to subtly shift once more to another place, a figure behind the second Prince, Rickto.

When Kovis was reporting his identity earlier, the servant following behind Rickto, with his head lowered, reacted strangely, and Olivia could feel the servant’s gaze was secretly scrutinizing Kovis.

Initially, she thought it was natural curiosity about Kovis’s background, after all, the identity of a distant foreign royal family was quite special, which was why Leon and Acro originally planned to use this identity to conceal their own origins.

But the servant’s attention towards Kovis carried a hint of malice, Olivia sensed.

Instinctively observing that person, she found sothing peculiar.

Although this individual’s posture seed humbly respectful, standing behind Rickto, Olivia noticed the person’s arms folded in front, relaxed but slightly flexed at the joints, continually maintaining a distance no greater than an arm and a half from Rickto’s neck.

This stance had persisted since the person followed his master.

The standing position appeared deliberately maintained, always poised to attack, making the arm and a half distance the optimal state for launching a rear attack on Rickto.

An illusion?

Yet Olivia, having seen many noble guards, had never observed any bodyguard displaying a posture facilitating assault rather than defense on their master.

Olivia frowned slightly, hesitating internally.

If the strange, dangerous individual followed Leon or any of her friends, she would have long drawn her sword to confront the person’s intent without hesitance.

But…

The maiden glanced at Rickto, whom Kovis was currently dealing with.

The individual’s identity was sowhat sensitive to her, she didn’t want to be too conspicuous if possible…

The short dialogue quickly concluded; Rickto looked forward to discussing with the Eastern Continent’s knight of foreign royal lineage at the tea party, then bid farewell to both.

Kovis, seeing the other party depart satisfied, relaxed and nodded to Olivia; neither was in the mood for reading anymore, so they walked toward the library’s exit.

Olivia glanced sideways at the odd prince’s servant as he followed behind Rickto, who was about to vanish at the corridor’s end…

she paused.

The maiden’s golden eyes, infused with Magic Elent, slightly narrowed, and the killing intent swelling in her heart poured forth like a phantom as she raised her hand to grasp the light sword hilt that Kovis carried by her side.

With an invisible slowed step, Olivia’s consciousness crossed through the void with a sword, as though a tangible blade, directly aid at the servant’s spine—

——!!

A series of loud thuds and rolling sounds behind made Rickto turn back in surprise.

He saw his long-serving attendant, with sweat on his face and body taut, seated at the corridor corner, gasping heavily, looking at the staircase door with bewildered eyes.

“What happened, Sein?” Rickto inquired.

“I’m sorry, Your Highness, I accidentally stumbled.” Sein smirked, answering the second Prince, rapidly rising while supporting himself against the wall.

His gaze seed haunted, sweeping the courtyard outside yet unable to locate the source of what seed like an apparition, as though cleaving his body limb from limb…

Upon exiting the library, Olivia thoughtfully glanced behind.

More smoothly than expected, she had imdiately tested it out.

That peculiar servant’s first reaction to mortal danger turned out neither to protect his master nor to defend himself.

…but to attempt a life-threatening assault on his master, Rickto himself.
