"Esteed Magician, would you like to join our rcenary corps? Skywind rcenary Group boasts impressive strength, and with your inclusion, we will surely be invincible. Would you like to consider this?"

"Magician, don’t listen to his boastful words. You should join our Iron War rcenary Group instead, where your safety is guaranteed. We will risk our lives to defend you if danger arises."

"Magician, our Dragon Phoenix rcenary Group has many attractive female mbers. Why not join us?"

Almost all the notable rcenary groups had their representatives surrounding them. For a ti, the invitation was loud and persistent, with Xuan Yue and Ah Dai in the center.

Xuan Yue had not expected to be so popular and took secret delight in this attention. However, her aim was not to join a rcenary corps. Loudly, she said, "Stop it, all of you. I am not here to join any rcenary groups. Make way, I will start my own rcenary team."

The representatives of various rcenary groups were stunned. A Mage establishing her own rcenary Corps? What a notion! By her voice, it seed this advanced mage was a young woman.

Seizing the mont of everyone’s stunned silence, Xuan Yue turned to Ah Dai, "Quick, make way. Let’s go to that counter over there."

Ah Dai complied, reined in his fighting spirit, gently pushed those obstructing their path aside, and escorted Xuan Yue to the innermost part of the Guild.

The lobby of the rcenary Guild was very spacious, capable of accommodating hundreds of people. There are three counters at the farthest end of the hall: the registration counter, the task assignnt counter, and the bounty collection counter. Xuan Yue and Ah Dai navigated the crowded hall and rapidly approached the registration counter, Xuan Yue called out to the clerk inside, "I want to register a rcenary group."

Standing behind the counter was a young woman who looked at the Advanced Mage badge on Xuan Yue’s chest in surprise. She said, "Miss, are you sure?" She has worked here for several years and has never heard of a mage wanting to register a rcenary group before. Given a mage’s status on the mainland, they do not need to worry about their livelihoods. Being a rcenary is a profitable profession, but it cos with significant risk. As far as she knows, only Red Hurricane rcenary Group has a few Mages. Smaller rcenary groups very rarely even have anyone who understands the aning of magic.

Xuan Yue impatiently retorted, "Of course, I am sure. Hurry up! Can’t you see these flies buzzing around us?"

The young lady at the counter chuckled. Turning to the silent Ah Dai beside Xuan Yue, she asked, "May I ask, how many mbers will there be in your rcenary group, and what are the nas of the captain and vice-captain?"

Without consideration, Xuan Yue responded, "There will be two mbers in our rcenary group. The captain is , Xuan Yue. The vice-captain is him; his na is Ah Dai." As she spoke, she pointed a finger at the towering fra of Ah Dai.

"Ah Dai?" The young woman was taken aback montarily, but without further reaction, she swiftly recorded the information. At that mont, the swarm of rcenaries behind them had regained their balance and had started closing in again, making their last desperate attempts. Xuan Yue huffed, lowered her voice, and chanted a few spells. The magic wand ejected a light bullet. As the majestic energy of the Light Bullet shunted away the rcenaries and shielded her and Ah Dai, she warned, "Anyone who bothers us again should not bla my magic for being discourteous." Although it was just an Ordinary Illumination Spell, with her innate sacred aura, the Light Bullet generated energy oscillations and had an evil-dispelling effect. While it seed powerful, it held negligible attack power but sufficient to intimidate those unfamiliar with magic.

The strong sacred aura imdiately pushed the rcenaries back, and except for a few powerful ones, they all retreated and busied themselves with their own affairs.

The young woman behind the counter asked Xuan Yue, "What is your profession, and what are you good at?"

Xuan Yue replied, "Of course, I am a magician! I am good at Light Magic, and he is good at Fire Magic. Is registration always so troubleso?"

The young won chuckled, saying, "Registration is indeed very troubleso, as we need to record everything clearly! Miss Mage, are you sure your rcenary corps will only have two mbers? This will be the smallest rcenary corps I have ever seen. I think you should recruit so warriors to boost the strength of your rcenary corps."

The young woman smiled, "Just one last item. Please give your rcenary corps a na."

Xuan Yue froze. She had not considered this issue. In a huff with Ah Dai earlier that morning, she had only thought of establishing a rcenary corps as a form of entertainnt. What na should she pick? Turning to Ah Dai, Xuan Yue asked, "Ah Dai, what do you think our rcenary corps should be nad?"

Ah Dai shook his head and replied, "I am too slow-witted, miss. It would be best if you decide the na." From the mont he stepped foot in the Guild, he had been scanning the sea of faces for Feng Ping and his fellow Red Lion rcenary Group mbers. But he saw no rcenaries bearing a lion’s head insignia, which made his heart sink. It seems that after leaving Feng Ping, the mbers of the Red Lion rcenary Group had already embarked on their new mission. Even if they were present, it was doubtful they would recognize Ah Dai with his changed apparel.
