----So uh, good luck reading all this.----

So I had to get creative with my backstory. I an I had picked a sowhat difficult to pass hybrid race. I got an idea, In the northern reaches. Past the cold climates of Tamriel and into the sea of ghosts. The continent of Atmora, a place where snow elf blood remains dormant in the blood of n.

Vek Frostwane a descendant of the first settlers of n on the Atmora continent. Lived a relatively normal life until he decided to make a na for himself. Wanting to start an adventure like the settlers of old. However unable to conquer new lands. He decided to travel Tamriel a place still filled with old ruins and lost civilizations.

To get to skyrim he needed money. So using his skills in hunting and archery he sold animal hides to pay for his travel. I didn't selected the archery skill tree, but hunting is common practice. Who didn't know how to shoot a bow.

Once he gained the money for travel, he didn't stop there. He did his best to stockpile even more gold. This was for the sake of buying a ho or a stay at an Inn. Ultimately he gathered enough gold for travel and plenty to afford whatever he needed on his travels.

Eventually after a month long journey he made it to Solitude. However his ti on the water were still productive. As he learned many other skills from the sailors like Alchemy and Smithing. Realistically no sailor would know how to enchant. So sadly I didn't think I could add that.

It wasn't a long backstory. I wasn't gonna go through a entire story. Short and simple. I thought for a mont and added. The sailor's also told him of many rumors out in skyrim. Dragons, Vampires, even stuff about the Daedra.

With that I hoped a few quests would be added for . I had no doubts in my mind that others would go for certain quests. Serana was out, I didn't even like her that much to be honest. Second I doubted I could get the Razor. Everyone loved the dark brotherhood, so that was likely a no go. The ones that mattered though were Azure's star and Dawnbreaker. Both powerful items which ca with no strings attached. At least none like the so of the others.

I hit confirm and the screen disappeared. When I looked up other players were already gone. Soon, everything faded away. Next thing I know I heard soone shouting. "Rise and Shine!"

I shook my head and I found myself in a ship. It seems I just arrived in skyrim. I moved my hands slowly before getting up. Everything felt natural. Exiting the ship we were already docked and I was blown away. The area was massive. "Solitude, am I right?"

I nodded, "Yeah, it's massive."

The sailor nodded and waved off. "Ah, you get used to it. Good luck on your travels, you might want to check out the winking skeever. It's the best Inn in town, at least for the common folk."

I nodded once more and got off the ship. I checked my pockets and found the book I got for my speechcraft bonus. I also found I had a lot of gold coins. I couldn't say how much, but I did found out that they weren't the imperial septims. So they might be useless. I sighed and found a place to sit down as I looked through my journal.

The journal opened like any system nu as a screen only I could see. I started with my quests. I got 6 quests, two were the rumors I wanted. One about Azure's shrine and the other about a mysterious beacon. The third was simple, it was about dragons in skyrim. The quest seed to want to get proof of them. The fourth was about the dawnguard it made sense.

The last two however seed to be related to what I put into my backstory not about the rumors I had the sailors tell . The 5th quest I had was to gain respect and making a na for myself. It had several bars related to the holds and factions. This could be useful, after all I didn't have much of a clue of what I wanted to do.

I clicked my tongue, the 6th quest was blank. It was a goddamn glitch. I opened it anyway to check the hint. I narrowed my eyes. To my surprise a hint was there. I read it out, "You have no mories of the past. Only about the world you live in now. Is sothing going on here that you don't know."

I frowned, that seed ominous. I didn't like it at all, I thought for a mont. Then opened my profile. It wasn't bad I was level 1, that was standard. What irked was my lack of alteration spells. aning I would need to learn them. I only had the three spells I got for my bonus to alteration. No other spells, so they were useless currently. I also had level 15 archery with 1 skill point in the tree.

I looked over the varying skill trees. They had everything from skyrim, but so much more. I scratched my head. I had three skill points in the three skills trees i picked. However they all were put into the very first level of each skill tree. aning I had a increased 30% proficiency in Sneaking, Alteration and Speechcraft.

The bright side is if I level up. If I put a skill point in Novice Alteration I will learn a selected amount of novice level spells. So that was sick. Alteration was about the sa with a few added effects. It shared a proficiency skill with all the other skill trees which had a total of 10 points. So each point placed into Alteration proficiency it would increase by 10%. Second was the Novice to Master level Alteration skill points.

Those made sense, other skill points I really wanted to get and were the reason I picked Alteration were things like... Stability that increase Alteration durations by 50% then 100%. Magic Resistance that increased my resistance to magic. This had 5 points increasing up to 50% resistance. Another good one was the Atronach skill perk that increased the magic I absorbed passively, with three points up to 30%.

Just those alone were sick as hell. However those were just the more passive ones. Mage Armor had 4 points and increased the effectiveness of defensive alterations by 2.5 tis their original amount. So if I had my math right, the master level dragonhide would go from about 500 armor to an insane 1250. Though that was just a guess I'm pretty sure dragonhide just reduces physical damage.

This was barely scratching the surface though. These were all the skill perks that were based on the original skyrim. The ones that seed new to were Alter Self. This was an entire branch of alteration that seed new to . It allowed for so interesting things.

This was all just the alteration perk tree. The Speechcraft one was even better in my eyes. It started with the proficiency skill, then it broke into persuasion, intimidation and bribery. Each of them having 4 points each that increased their effectiveness and had their own branch.

Down the persuasion branch it had skill points like Allure. This had 2 points and it effected the speechcraft against the opposite sex. Kinship which had three and effected speechcraft on the sa race. I assu this ant I would have increased effectiveness against nords and snow elves. After those two skill points were bardcraft. It increased singing ability, performance and so on. Finally the persuasion branch ended in the silver tongue. Which increased effectiveness on everyone.

Intimidation was just as sick. I was glad I picked a book that could teach Thu'um. Within this branch the skill point Voice increased shouts and battle cries. The skill point marauder increased intimidation in combat. One that surprised was Bane, a skill that had 12 points and each point gave a 25% damage bonus against a different race or species. Finally the intimidation branch ended in Hatred. It increased all other vocal effects against factions who are hostile against you.

The last branch was Bribery, this branch consisted of most of the normal speechcraft skills. Started with haggling that had 5 points and increased to 30% buy and selling prices. The next was rchant which allowed one to convince people to buy anything from you. This seemingly included people who weren't rchants. After that was fencer that allowed the selling of stolen goods. The next was investor, it had 8 points. Every level of investor would increase the funds a shop has. Though you still had to give them the investnt.

The bribery branch didn't end there though. After the investor skill, was Contract. You could create magic contracts. What this implied was interesting. However that wasn't the last skill. As there was still two more, both as equally as interesting. The last two were Daedra Dealer and Aedra dealer. The best I could say was, damn. The skills allowed the making of deals with Daedra and Aedra. I could already assu the benefits and the dangers.

The last skill tree that mattered right now to was the sneaking skill tree. It had the normal proficiency. Then it broke into two branches. One that increased sneaking in general and the other was sneak attacks. On the sneaking side it was the normal sequence. Sneaking which made it harder to detect you. Muffle which was obvious, then light foot and silent roll. The final two were Silent run and Shadow blend.

The sneak attack side was different though. It started with Dagger arts that had 8 total skill points. Back stab that had 5 skill points as well as deadly aim that had 4 points. Both increased sneak attacks with one handed and bows. After those though the skill Magic strike that increased magic sneak attacks. After that it was assassin's blade which made daggers and poison do more damage. The final one skill was shadow stalk, it made all attacks from the dark or invisibility deal 15 tis more damage.

Ultimately I was beyond happy with my decisions. Though as much as I liked looking through the skill trees. I still had more to analyze, within my profile it listed my gold. So I knew how much i had now. I had 10k of golden Atmoras, which roughly amounted to 5k imperial septims. So that was nice. Second it seed as if I had a very small inventory space. It contained a dagger, a bow, so arrows and so jerky.

I rubbed my neck, I actually didn't expect Solitude to be so much bigger.
