I felt like I got lucky with my current quests. However I do have a plan. It's not perfect, but the basics are simple. Gain respect, gain a position of power, gain sick rewards. How to accomplish all that? Well I had a series of events I planned on using to achieve this. The first was to grab the Sheogorath quest before anyone else. I would also stop by the cave where the rueful axe was. Once I got both those, I would make my way to Falkreath and grabbed the quests there.

I rubbed my neck, the catch to this was simple. I didn't realize how much bigger skyrim was. The Solitude docks were about as big as Solitude in original skyrim. Which made this so much harder. I got up from where I was sitting and moved toward the city gates. However soone bumped into .

"Whoa there friend. Are you okay?"

I paused for a mont analyzing the guy. It was an Argonian. It was Jaree-Ra, the guy who gave the lights out quest. I smiled, "Hah! Yeah, I just ca here to skyrim. I was looking for so work, but Solitude is so big so I don't know where to start."

Jaree-Ra seed to light up like he had found prey or sothing. "Oh, then I might have a job for you friend. You see and my sister have been looking for a new partner for a job. You see it is easy to sell things nobody will miss. You see, my sister Deeja and I are treasure hunters. We like to collect things."

I nodded with with a stupid grin. "Yeah? I'm listening, what's the job. I could use the money."

He spoke almost word for word from what I rember. "I knew you looked like a clever one... With the war, many more ships co through these docks. Loaded with weapons and pay, but few people. And they pass through dangerous waters. We have an interest in one of those boats, the Icerunner. The Solitude Lighthouse will be guiding it in... but if its fire were to go out, the Icerunner would run aground."

This would be perfect, no more than perfect. I made myself look as simple as can be. "Sure, i can do that. Then I'll et you there right?"

Jaree-Ra smiled, "Of course friend! Then we can drink a pint together once the job is done. Good luck, friend!"

He began walking back to Solitude. I smirked, this was too perfect. "Friend wait up! You didn't tell when? So perhaps you can show the city."

Jaree-Ra nodded, "Ah, you are right. The lighthouse must be put out before..." He paused as we walked past a guard. "As I was saying, it must be done within three days. In the an ti, I wouldn't mind showing you the city."

As we got to the gate Jaree-Ra waved to the guard. "Ah, Maxis! et my new friend!"

Maxis the guard gave a nod. "I trust you aren't roping them into nothing shady at the docks Jaree."

Jaree-Ra waved off the concerns, "Pshh, I do nothing shady. He is new to skyrim and I am simply guarding him around the city."

Maxis looked at . "Where you from new guy."

I hesitated to say Atmora. In the lore it had seemingly disappeared. Only Roscrea still interreacted with Tamriel and it was annexed from Solitude. Making that the only reason it still did interacted. I was now realizing my backstory was too crude.

I responded, "it's complicated. I co from overseas."

The man nodded, "A life across the sea? You appear to be a Nord other than those ears."

Jaree-Ra seed to realize my ears for the first ti. I however nodded to Maxis. "Yup, Mostly Nord. My family had ancestors that enslaved so elves to use as... Cattle. Kids spawned from that, and instead of treating them like bastards. They gave them swords and shields and treated them like n. So of those r traits still exist over the generations."

Maxis chuckled, "Sounds interesting I bet you have so stories. Becareful... never got your na."

I smiled, "Vek, Vek Frostwane."

Maxis nodded, "Good day, and Good Luck Vek."

As we entered the city Jaree-Ra gave a laugh. "I didn't even notice your ears. Nords always seem to notice the differences of n."

I smiled, "It is our blood."

Jaree-Ra nodded, but we were stopped by a commotion. I was getting an idea of how the ti tables were working. Ga events weren't controlled by the players. Roggvir was already headless and a few people were muttering about the 'traitor'.

In my opinion Ulfric was a fool. The Imperial Court clearly didn't like the Thalmor they just buried their feelings as they reprepare for war. The Storm cloaks were definitely being funded by the Thalmor. I scoffed and shook my head.

Jaree-Ra looked over at the headless man. However he made no comnt, "You wanted to see Solitude."

I nodded, "Yeah, A Inn would be nice."

Jaree-Ra nodded, "It isn't too far. We are in the rchant districted by the way. Most buildings here are stores. Though there is only one Inn around here."

The Winking Skeever was closer to the center of town then the city gates. Jaree-Ra gave a light smile, "This is the Winking Skeever. I would suggest getting a drink before heading out."

He pointed backwards, "That's the market place, those who don't use their hos as stores sell their wares there." He kept walking on, "This way is the housing area. Few live outside the city, as most live here. The only problem is they build new houses on top of already existing hos."

He pointed out the stair case leading up the side of one hos. Jaree-Ra smiled, "There's more around the city, like the Bard's College. However I must go find my sister."

He paused, "I should also ntion the sewers. Be careful of those, they sll and so have said they heard strange noises down there."

Jaree-Ra made no ntion of the noble district or the Castle Dour. I rubbed my chin thinking how I could use Captain Aldis to take care of the Black-blood Marauders himself. I got an idea, Jaree-Ra was walking back to the Winking Skeever. I would require his sister.

Now I just needed to find that old man who gives the Sheogorath quest and I needed to find the ti to speak with Captain Aldis.
