"Your Highness," Helia interjected, her tone becoming more serious. "May I ask you sothing?

"Go ahead," Arthur said.

Helia glanced at Freya, then back at Arthur. "Freya ntioned she hasn’t cultivated properly in a very long ti. Would it be appropriate to arrange training for her? Perhaps access to cultivation resources?"

Arthur nodded. "That’s a good idea. Freya, what’s your current cultivation level?"

Freya hesitated. "I’m at the Seventh Stage of the Martial King Realm. But my foundation is unstable. The long period of stasis affected my ridians and energy flow."

"We can fix that," Arthur said confidently. "I’ll provide you with resources to stabilize your foundation. Once that’s done, we can work on advancing your cultivation properly."

"You’d do that for ?" Freya asked. Her eyes were wide with disbelief.

"Of course," Arthur replied. "Your Special Physique is valuable. But more importantly, you’re under my protection now. Ensuring you’re strong enough to defend yourself is part of that responsibility."

Freya looked like she might cry again. She blinked rapidly and looked away. "Thank you. I’ll work hard. I won’t disappoint you."

"I know you won’t," Arthur said.

Arthur ntioning this in front of Helia also showed how much he trusts her. A minor detail Freya paid attention to.

Her conclusion so far is that Helia is more than Arthur’s personal maid, but also Arthur’s friend.

Considering how nobles treat servants in general, this helped improved her perception of Arthur, which was already very high before this.

Suddenly....

At that mont, sothing strange happened. Freya’s eyes suddenly took on a distant quality. The pale blue seed to shimr and shift.

Helia noticed imdiately. "Freya? Are you alright?"

Freya blinked. The strange shimr faded. She looked confused. "I’m fine. Just... sothing felt odd for a mont."

Arthur studied her carefully. He’d sensed the shift in her energy. The Divine Fate Physique had activated briefly.

"What did you sense?" Arthur asked.

Freya looked at him. Then at Helia. Then back at Arthur. "I... I’m not entirely sure. It’s like I saw threads. Lines of light connecting everything and everyone."

"Threads?" Helia echoed. She didn’t understand but found it fascinating.

"The threads of fate," Freya explained quietly. "My physique allows to perceive them sotis. Everyone has them. They show connections, destinies, possible futures."

"Wow, that is extrely overpowered!"

"Overpowered?" Freya asked as she was hearing the term for this first ti.

"Oh, that’s sothing I learned from the Master. In a simple term you can say it ans being much more powerful than normal."

"Oh...so I’m overpowered."

"Don’t get distracted," Arthur sighed and asked.

"What did you see?" He pressed gently.

Freya’s gaze settled on Helia. "Your threads are bright and nurous. They connect to many people. You have a social destiny. Many friends and connections in your future."

Helia’s eyes lit up with delight. "That sounds wonderful! I do love eting people."

Then Freya’s gaze shifted to Arthur. Her expression changed. Confusion flickered across her features. Then uncertainty. Then sothing approaching awe.

"What about ?" Arthur asked. His tone was casual but internally he was curious.

Freya stared at him for a long mont. Her eyes searched his face as if trying to understand sothing incomprehensible.

"I... I can’t see anything," she finally admitted. Her voice was barely above a whisper.

"Nothing?" Arthur asked.

"No threads. No destiny lines. It’s like..." Freya struggled to find the words. "It’s like you’re not bound by fate at all. Or perhaps..."

She trailed off. Her eyes were wide.

"Perhaps what?" Arthur prompted.

"Perhaps you ARE fate itself," Freya finished. "Every ti I try to perceive your destiny, it’s like looking at the sun. Too bright. Too vast. Impossible to comprehend."

Silence fell over the garden. Even Helia seed to sense the weight of what Freya had said.

Arthur remained calm externally. But internally, his mind was working rapidly.

’The Divine Fate Physique can’t perceive my destiny because of the fate gem,’ he reasoned. ’It’s shielding from such observations. But to Freya, it must appear as if I’m beyond fate entirely.’

"Is that normal?" Helia asked. She looked between Arthur and Freya. "For soone to have no visible destiny?"

"No," Freya replied. Her voice was still filled with wonder. "It’s not normal at all. I’ve never encountered anything like it."

She looked at Arthur with new eyes. "What are you?"

Arthur smiled slightly. "Just a prince trying to survive in a complicated world."

"That’s not true," Freya said. There was certainty in her voice now. "You’re sothing more. Sothing I don’t understand yet."

Arthur had just beco more mysterious in her eyes and sothing in her wanted to investigate enough to pull off the veim of his existence.

Arthur sensed her emotions and felt weird.

’Hmm, she’s giving off the vibe of those guys I know from my ti on Earth who take needless risk in the na of exploration.’

’What was their na again? Cave divers or sothing?... nevermind.’

"Perhaps," Arthur acknowledged. "But that’s not sothing to worry about right now. Focus on your own growth and adjustnt. The mysteries will reveal themselves in ti."

Freya nodded slowly. But her gaze remained thoughtful. Arthur could tell she would be pondering this for a while.

"Co on," Helia said, breaking the tension. She stood and tugged at Freya’s sleeve. "Let’s go see the kitchens. I promised to introduce you to the head chef. He makes the most amazing honey cakes."

Freya allowed herself to be pulled to her feet. But she glanced back at Arthur one more ti before Helia led her away.

Arthur watched them go. Once they were out of sight, his expression beca more serious.

’The Divine Fate Physique is more sensitive than I anticipated,’ he thought. ’Freya can sense that sothing is different about even if she can’t see the specifics.’

’I’ll need to be careful. But at the sa ti, having soone with her abilities under my protection could be invaluable in the future.’

He turned and began walking back toward his private study. There was still much to prepare before the secret realm opened.
