"I told them that I’ll be here in ten minutes and I’m here in nine. Just as I thought, I’m the quickest..."

On the ground floor, a researcher had already arrived, dressed in casual attire.

He sat on the couch and started waiting for his other friends from the lab when he heard the sound of footsteps behind him.

He stood up and looked back, seeing five unfamiliar faces.

"Who are you?" he asked. "What are you doing here?"

"You’re being too loud," a red haired man rubbed his ears, showing a displeased expression. "I don’t like unnecessary noise."

As he finished speaking, he snapped his fingers again.

The young researcher looked weird, feeling sothing strange. He was suddenly starting to feel extrely hot, as if his entire body was burning from within.

It was as if his blood was literally boiling, becoming a part of chaos.

"What did you do... to ...?" He tried speaking, but even his speech had beco slurred. His face grew pale, and the pain beca so overwhelming until everything was over.

The blood within his body exploded. The sight of his blood flying everywhere was the last thing his eyes saw before everything was over.

"Much better now," the red haired man calmly stated before moving forward.

At the sa ti, the door of the lift opened, and another researcher ca to sight.

The researcher imdiately went pale at the sight of blood everywhere. He imdiately pressed the button to close the lift.

Fortunately, the door imdiately started closing. With the last crack in the lift gate, he saw the face of the person that had killed just now.

Strangely enough, that man’s face had a smile at that mont. He didn’t even try to stop him.

The young man soon realized why that was the case. Unfortunately, it was too late by then.

When the lift door opened at the higher floors, it only revealed a grueso sight worth blood painting the walls of the lift red. Unfortunately, no one was there to see it as the lift door soon closed, and the lift started going down.

"I’ll take the lift. You take the stairs." The red haired man said as the lift returned to the ground floor and the door opened.

He stepped in the bloody lift, without a slightest frown. If anything, it looked like he quite enjoyed stepping on others’ blood.

All possible escapes for the researchers were occupied. And the net was simply closing in.

At each floor that the lift door opened, the outco could only be defined with one word... massacre. It was as if the people didn’t just know how to kill them more efficiently, but they also knew where to find everyone.

Out in the sky, a blood moon had completely ford, reflecting blood red hue on the earth, even encompassing the Alpha Lab Building.

Not far from here, Alpha Clothing Factory was also going through the sa thing if not worse.

Within half an hour, the entire Alpha Clothings Building was destroyed. All the computers were scraped, and everything that looked like it was valuable was taken from the lab.

Even the machines and the raw materials that were still in the production line were taken from the factory which was arguably said to be even more secure than Alpha Labs.

The people at the factory tried to call Picollo, and even the authorities like the Hero Tower, yet nothing worked. An unknown force had started interfering, making it impossible for them to even connect to the Galactic Net to ask for help.

The only news about the Alpha Clothing Factory that was allowed to go out, was going to be a few hours later when news about the factory being in flas was released by the dia.

....

At the hotel where the party was arranged, Yelina was repeatedly trying to call Picollo.

As per their arrangents, the researchers from the lab should’ve arrived already. Yet, there was no sign of them. She couldn’t even get through to Picollo.

She tried calling the other researchers, but she received the sa error that the other side couldn’t be contacted. She even tried to call the office line but nothing changed.

"What is going on?" Yelina looked at her phone with strange expressions.

Another hour passed, and the family mbers of the researchers were eagerly looking at the entrance of the hotel venue.

So were waiting for their children, while so were waiting for their husbands, wives, or even their parents.

"Mother, when will father arrive?" A young child asked his mother, as he looked at the food that was waiting on the table. His stomach had already started growling, yet he was waiting for his father to eat together.

anwhile at the lab, a corpse was left near the stairs. A man was lying on the ground, hiding an open pendant in his hand which had a picture of a pretty woman and a child.

"This was easier than I thought. I expected it to be challenging since these people dared to offend Lady Fiona. But it looks like I overestimated them."

"Hmph, they probably didn’t know their place. These fools really thought that they could survive after offending Lady Fiona? Just because she looks like an angel, they probably don’t know her true side."

"Hey, don’t talk about that! Do you want to die?"

"I know, I know! I’ll be careful!"

The group walked past the lifeless busy. One person’s fist stepped on the pendant, crushing the pendant and the body’s hand under his feet.

"Eww, I stepped on it. I feel dirty!" The man looked at his shoes in disgust. "I’ll need to throw these shoes away when I get back."

The others in the group laughed as they continued their search and onslaught in the Alpha Labs, turning it truly into a night where blood flowers like rivers.

None of them had any idea about what kind of storm their actions were brewing for them, the Lionel Family, and the entire universe.
