"Was that all?"
The group of five intruders t at the highest floor of Alpha Labs Building. All of them looked quite relaxed, even though they had just done sothing drastic.
In their eyes, it was a completely ordinary thing to do as they didn’t even consider these people comparable to them. It was just a lowly planet that was lucky enough to join the ranks of a mid tier planet.
Even amidst mid tier planets, there was a large gap between those with millions of years of history of advanced civilization and those that had recently started. Earth was almost at the bottom of that scale in the middle tier.
Even in the Galactic Council, it was barely able to raise their voice thanks to the support of the Elven Kingdom that was sohow fond of humans and traded with them.
"I think that was all. I didn’t see anyone else on the way."
"Don’t forget that they have that weird suit. Even we can’t see them unless they move or make a noise. So is it possible that so of them might be hiding?"
They were clearly issued commands to take care of everything. Leaving soone alive was a problem that they didn’t want to have to answer for.
"Even if soone is hiding, can they still stay still when the entire building is burning? Let’s just finish it and go ho."
The group of five stepped to the edge of the roof, and jumped down, landing right back at the entrance of the Alpha Lab’s Building.
One of them stepped forward and placed his hand on the wall. At that mont, lights inside the building started flickering, before the entire building burst into fierce flas.
The man stepped back and watched the building burn into fierce flas with his friends.
All of them were keeping an eye on the exits, keeping their senses fully heightened to see if any survivors were still hiding.
If they tried to escape, they were going to be detected and killed. And if they stayed inside, they were going to burn to death.
....
Leo was sitting in the Necropolis Ship. His eyes were closed, but he wasn’t able to sleep. He didn’t know why, but there was a heavy unease in his heart as if he was doing sothing wrong.
"What is this strange sense of unease? Am I still worried about my business even after everything has been settled?"
Leo mumbled, his eyes looking through the window at the vast outer space.
There were millions of stars in space, and amidst these stars were multiple planets, looking like specks of dust.
"Am I feeling bad because I didn’t even congratulate Picollo and the team for their hard work? Do I still have this bit of conscience left?"
"Now that I think about it, Picollo did send an invitation. They were throwing a party, right? Should I still join? But what if this motivates them to work even harder next ti?"
"Shouldn’t I be the boss that doesn’t care about business so that they can ss around? Wait, didn’t their ssing around cause this ss in the first place?"
"They already see as a genius boss, who they should work hard for. Just staying away from them wont work. I need to work on my reputation, and ss it up even more!"
"If I attend the party that’s just for the researchers, I can pretend to show them an ugly side of , so the false misunderstanding they have is over. That way, they can ss around in a good way like before."
"That’s right! That must be what this feeling of unease was about! It was the feeling of missing an opportunity to establish the foundation of losing more money in the future!"
Leo’s eyes lit up as he realized what was going on. He issued new instructions, and the massive Necropolis Ship turned around again, going back towards earth.
The journey back was much shorter since Leo hadn’t gone farther. Within ten minutes of space ti, he was back in the outer atmosphere of earth.
"Now, where was the party destination?" He checked the ssage that he had received from Picollo, and found the address.
"Let’s get it started then. Let’s show Picollo and others how bad of a boss I can be..." Leo stood up, and patted his clothes.
Since he was already well dressed, there was no need to change his clothes. He brushed his fingers against his hair, and looked at his reflection.
"Did I always look this handso? Or is it the charm of wealth?" He jokingly asked, before patting his clothes.
With a snap of his fingers, the transportation portal was activated. His figure disappeared, and appeared right outside the hotel where the party was being thrown.
"I wonder if they will recognise . Or will they be like that girl from last ti? What was her na...?"
Leo mumbled, lost in thoughts outside the hotel.
Suddenly, his eyes lit up as he said, "Yes, Yelina!"
As soon as he finished speaking, it was as if his words held magic. The hotel doors opened and Yelina rushed out.
"The heck?" Leo was slightly confused. He didn’t alert them of his arrival. So how did she know?
It didn’t take him long to realize that she wasn’t coming for him. Her face was filled with panic as she ran past him.
"Why does she look so scared? Did sothing happen?"
Leo looked back, watching Yelina rush inside the ship that was stationed outside the hotel.
"Please! Please let them be safe!" These were Yelina’s last words that Leo heard before the ship’s doors closed and it started rising in the air.
Leo’s lips started twitching, and the bad feeling in his heart was at an absolute peak. Sothing was truly wrong! Just what could have happened for Yelina to be so scared? Whose safety was she praying for?
Leo watched the ship disappear into a distance, as his expressions grew darker.
