Pay back the debt...
Xia Wan’an blinked in confusion, blinked again, and only then realized the aning behind Han Jingnian’s words.
He was asking her to repay him for the debt she owed him – for the ten tis she exploited him to keep He Che.
By the ti Xia Wan’an fully understood, her sleepwear was cast aside by Han Jingnian, lightly landing on the floor, then she felt his kisses, densely blanketing her entire body.

anwhile, inside the Chi Family villa that everybody had left, Chi Mu was acting like a madwoman, grabbing whatever she could find and violently throwing it on the floor.
"Didn’t you say that everything was perfectly arranged? That the low-class bitch who was going to shine tonight?"
As Chi Mu’s words were spoken, a pile of expensive costics were swept off the vanity and onto the floor by her. They created a clinking noise, so glass bottles shattered, their lotions and serums spilled all over the floor.
"Tell what happened? Why am I the one who was humiliated in the end? Have you seen the way those people, who used to fawn over whenever they saw , looked at when they left?"
"I, Chi Mu have been living for twenty-six years and never in my life have I been so embarrassed as today!"
Chi Mu then swung and threw the crystal lamp onto the floor with all her strength.
"Miss, calm yourself down. Getting this angry can be detrintal to your health!" Chi Mu’s assistant, shivering at the side, reminded her earnestly.
"Bad for my health? If you didn’t want to get this angry in the first place, then you should’ve done your job perfectly! I don’t pay you to act like a useless dog. Even a dog knows how to bark, what about you? Completely useless!" After berating her assistant rcilessly, Chi Mu turned and aid her anger at Ai Jiang who was standing next to her assistant, remaining silent: "And you, another waste of space!"
"Didn’t you swear to that you could crush that woman so she would never turn things around? What happened? You got served by her, aren’t you ashad?!"
As Chi Mu vented, she walked up to Ai Jiang, raised her hand and slapped Ai Jiang twice, "And you wanted to join forces with ? Are you worthy?"
Chi Mu was infuriated at the thought of Ai Jiang having a video of herself being publicly embarrassed and not being able to fight back. Pointing at the door, she scread at Ai Jiang: "Get out!"
Ai Jiang kept her head bowed, appearing obedient, but her hand was slowly tightening its grip on her clothes.
The only thing Chi Mu has over her is a good father. Apart from that, where else is she better? Had she not needed Chi Mu’s connections, Ai Jiang would’ve annihilated her with her intelligence in a matter of minutes!
"I told you to get out, didn’t you hear?!" Chi Mu scread once more.
Ai Jiang, shook in fear, quickly heading for the door.
Before she even reached the door, she heard Chi Yao’s voice from outside: "Xiao Mu!"
Ai Jiang pursed her lips, pinched her thigh hard, the pain instantly brought tears to her eyes. Only then did she raise her head and t the gaze of Chi Yao entering the room, "Mr. Chi."
As her voice faded, a tear rolled down her cheek.
